After my items going missing in the fridge, one German staff member helped me look for my milk as it disappeared second time but not found surprisingly. However, after speaking with an incredibly rude 'Thea' on reception who told me to re-read 'the terms and conditions, as were not responsible for items going missing' also getting loud to me and also telling me I was not being reasonable after all I asked was when is the manger next in. I'm furious! I'll be passing on my thoughts to all my travelling clients at my place of work.

I stayed here in 2014 for a few months, worst idea ever, the managers enforced a no drinking ban and then proceeded to drink most week nights. Even told us off when he was holding a beer behind his back. Also had bed bugs, thats not bad but the way they managed it was terrible, just moved us to another room and the next day someone else moved in to the bed bug room! the management do not like people, border alcoholics that hate it when you ask for anything. The volunteer staff are kind. If you want to catch something please stay here.

Really clean and modern hostel. I enjoyed my first night and will stay longer. Staff is absolutely friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hostel!

Small kitchen, $20 key deposit & no alcohol allowed in the building. Bed creeked, but was comfortable enough. Would recommend ear plugs as the street traffic can be a little disturbing.

Want to get to robbed in a hostel while you're asleep? Want to have a stranger walk into your room several times while they decide what they want to take for themselves? Yes? Sound ideal? Then this is the place for you! They don't tell you that there's a thief loose, and there has been for six months, and to make things even better, when your card and other belongings are stolen right from the inside of the room you paid for, they insist they don't take any responsibility for thefts. 4 of us got robbed, the staff were mute, because why would they want to scare business away!? It's better to just stay silent and hope the problem goes away, or stops stealing belongings, whichever comes first. It's rather cheap, when comparing to other Auckland hostels, but it's true what they say… You get what you pay for.

Kitchen too small, you have to wait for cookcking, Bad Wi-Fi, coakroaches.

Melanie the receptionist is AMAZING! She's beautiful, nice, kind — hearted, she even let us use her mobile phone the when we were in need for a chest x-ray. The place to be in Auckland for sure. 21/20

Not the best place. Was eaten by mosquitoes during the night. I was unwell for a while afterwards. Would not recommend anyone to stay here.

Good value hostel that's not so overfilled. There were bugs in the kitchen like there are in every hostel but the rooms were tidy.

This hostel was filthy, cockroaches crawling all over the kitchen and on day 2 of my week stay I found coachraoches crawling on my bed! Totally disgusted. Rooms with no windows have little ventilation and smell sour when the doors are shut for more then an hour. Not much room to store your bags. Staff and location was decent, Wi-Fi was terrible. Spend a bit more and go somewhere else!

Room had no windows, but comfy bed and air con (I think). Good price at $58 for a double. The kitchen seemed clean, but on closer inspection it was full of insects! : (

Staff were friendly, they have got this nice deck on the ground floor for drinking and smoking through the night. Kitchen is fully furnished but feels a little rather cramped for the number of people they can hold here. They could do better here, as stench and cockroaches were noticable. In the vacinity there are a vairety of takeouts, marts. Also, an alcohol shop that closes at 11pm. Very convenient :) Plenty of toilets/shower, never had to wait. But some do not have racks/hooks to place your stuff. Accom is just about a minute away from the airport shuttle (Skybus) bus stop and it costed me $18 for a one-way to the airport. It can be purchased directly from the counter. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. They seem to be able to bring in a good crowd.

It's a bit further from CBD than most other hostels. The rooms are a bit inconsistent, but they seemed to be upgrading the bad ones so I can't complain. The good ones were much more comfortable than compareable hostels in NZ. Everything is keep very clean especially the bathrooms and kitchen. The small number of staff is helpful, but sometimes hard to find. The kitchen and dinning area are next to the common area so it's easy to meet people, athiigj in general it's pretty quiet.

Spacious and tidy rooms with great internet connection! The bathrooms are kept clean and fresh.

One of the worst hostels in Auckland. There are some bedbugs and aunts there! The room is absolutely filthy! Some of the receptionists were super rude. One German girl is incompetent! When I was bitten by bedbugs and told her, she hadn't apologized for their fault. I stayed the hostel 2 weeks altogether. For my first week, I stayed 4pods room, it's not bad. But I stayed 10 pods room for my second week, it's horrible. Messy and stinky. Top of that, I was bitten by bedbugs more than 50 times. I've been suffering from the insects bites. Only one Asian guy at the reception is very kind and helpful!

-kind of cheap -8 person dorms are too small for 8 people, so you can't really store anything -showers and toilets are clean but old -a few cockroaches in the kitchen -someone took our precooked food?! (On a Sunday so not the cleaning crew) -Wi-Fi is unusable when too many people are logged in, but works fine very early or late in the day -2 person rooms are ok, no windows — > pretty hot when sunny.

The pod beds are quite nice and a good idea for the bigger rooms, but they had a problem with the kitchen being to small. Some people just take your stuff out of the fridge. Also finding the occasional cockroach in the kitchen and finding bed bug bites in the morning just lead me to very quickly leave that place.

Best place to stay great staff friendly atmosphere good people clean. Safe tucked away just top of cbd and bonus cheap too. Thank you will be staying again.

It's a dynamic, clean and fun Hostel. The Staff is friendly and always helpful. It's close to Queen Street and K road. The Pod rooms are great — you have where to put your BP, charge your electronics and you have lockers. If you want to enjoy a beer and meet some people — decking area. In the common area you can watch movies or cable. Kitchen has all you need. Washrooms are clean and new. If you want to be adventurous, you can book great trip.
I will recommend it. There are enough places for take away food.

Very bad accommodation. The kitchen has cockroaches, the bathroom is dirty, the mattress has the springs outside and the staff is very nasty. We paid a week in advance, we put the beds together (twin) and they did not like it for which they threw us out, they did not refund us all the money we paid. The room did not have any damage but they said it was dangerous. Plus they charged me on the card without consent $ 60. If you do not want to spend a bad time it is better not to stay here, I got 20 minutes to leave the hotel.

A few pros and few cons.
Cons:
— Showers are kind of weird, are clean though, but something like that comes out between water vapor and water, hard to describe, don't stop a beam or something
— Hostel is next to the motorway. Here's the con you can't open windows
Neither:
— it feels more distant, in others cohesion is stronger and everyone knows everyone
— You can catch bad times in the kitchen, where a lot of food is made
— you have 24/7 all over the hostel internet, but when many are online, it hardly goes
Pros:
— quite cheap, generally clean
— normal to nice staff
— you can achieve everything well.
