We had an exceptional time the room was perfect the spa and all the facilities were incredibly nice clean lots of variety of sauna and steam room and jacuzzi. The staff was very friendly both at reception and restaurant 😀 I recommend this beautiful place to everyone.

The facilities were ok — few Jacuzzis in and out, lovely saunas and other warm rooms. Very clean and comfortable, the pool had an inside and an outside area too. We were charged €8.50 each for towels and not notified about the price before we entered (the staff insisted that we pay after we enjoy the spa). All of this was ok and even though we are used to be provided with complementary towels we didn't mind as much as there was a discount — 2 for 1 entry, so it was about €17.50 each, for 2 people + towels and flip flops we paid €65 overall. Now the reason why I gave it 3 starts only. For the luxury place they claim to be, they failed to provide such a basic thing as drinking water near the sauna areas. The only way to stay hydrated is to bring your own water (not notified beforehand for this option) or pay for a dressing gown, which gives you an access to the restaurant where you can ask for water. So my advice is — bring your flip flops, towels, water and dressing gowns and you will have an amazing experience!

Nice spa. But the cafe perhaps need some work: asked for a mug of warm water and they charged 3EUR as a tea. So: remember to check your bill!

It's a great hotel! If you want to feel Holland as it is — you come here! The hotel is located away from Amsterdam's main attractions, but that's not a problem — sit down at the huge medical centre (VU Amsterdam, 7-9 mins) on the tram 24 or 16 and drive to the final stop — Central Station. From there just walk in any direction and enjoy the views of the capital! There is also a metro, but it seemed to us that the subway is slower — part of the route passes underground, and nothing can be seen. There is also a gorgeous spa with a huge sauna, hammams and swimming pool. Hat and slippers do not have to be rented, you can do with a towel from the room and your own slippers. The nearest store (Albert Hejin) is also opposite the medical center, but, however, it is very small, but if you take the tram (24, 16) and drive to the remains. The Olympic Chtadion, that is quite a decent super of the same network. Cheese is better to buy there — cheaper than in the center of twice.

The spa is nice and clean. But they do not go for the extra mile, if its about massage, information, English guidance. Staff is absolutely not welcoming. Front desk ladies do not know how to smile, not attentive, slightly snobby, just awkward a bit. (The intention maybe high-end and professional communication, but it requires you to talk, provide information, give longer answers than 3 words. If you even see who do you talk to, it's a plus. ) It looks like waiters hate their jobs and especially people. I had the misfortune to talk 3 of them. To sum up, the idea and facility is nice, but I do not like to feel my presence bothers the staff or my polite request for an orange juice causes pain to someone. Nice, communicative people. That is all this place misses.

Reception was very friendly. Hotel room is quite basic but very clean and with a nice bathroom/shower. The Spa is very nice and I had a great time exploring the area/forest around the location.

Goed verzorgde spa met ruime keuze aan sauna's. Bubbelbaden buiten zitten helaas wel vrijwel altijd vol bij mooi weer, er zouden er wel 1 of 2 bij mogen komen. Het grote zwembad is heerlijk en zonder chloor (zout). De opgietingen worden ook goed verzorgd met duidelijke informatie en voorschriften. Het personeel is vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het eten is goed en vers. Helaas wel wat prijzig maar dat valt te verwachten.

We really enjoyed our visit on Monday. Didn’t interact much with the staff, but they were very polite. This is probably the best spa I’ve visited, well thought out and clean.

It's a huge complex with all different type of saunas and it's usually very crowded on the 2 no-naked days of the week. It's very professional and very impersonal. I took my own bath robe and it was stolen twice. The first time I could leave a note at the reception and they found it later. The second time they handed over an email adress on a card to report the case. I visited this place several times and couldn't decide whether I like the place or not. After this incident I don't feel like going again and stopped recommending to people. The only thing which is really cool that it's in the middle of the forest though easy to reach from the city. But it's without any real character. I have to admit though that if it's about spa's I have high cultural standards. But if you don't have anything better to do once maybe worth to visit. Don't bring anything what can be stolen.

I visited the spa on a swimsuit day. The facilities are really nice, and clean, BUT I think it was way too crowded, makes you wonder if they are really managing bookings, or just letting everybody in to make a profit. I also got a hot stone massage which was really nice, and the masseuse was really friendly.
I found that nobody respects the "silence" signs for every sauna room, and people were just talking, which is rude, and annoying. Staff should find a way to make sure this doesn't happen, I mean, you are there to relax, not to hear other people telling tales about their lives.
As per the restaurant, the pasta was ok, just ok. And the coffee at the bar is not that great.

With more offers, free bathrobes and towels, water and parking this would easily be a five star experience. Amazing variety of ways to get hot. A really good experience but make sure you have your wallet ready.

I went to use the spa facilities, and I came out delighted I can say it is the best in the I've been. The facilities wide variety of sauna rooms, hot areas, bathrooms, Jacuzzi. The atmosphere is very respectful and quiet. I think repeat but surely already staying directly there.

Nice spa! You don't have to reserve a spot online but you can. Tuesday is the day that swimwear is allowed, all other days are naked days. :) Also, check out if there are any promotions while you are there. We saved €60+, as we saw a promotion for 4 people. Be aware that bathrobe, slippers and a towel. Are required.

Great spa with inner and outer swimming pool. You shouldn’t miss the special treatments the go on every hour in the evenings. Make sure to get a bath robe if you want to enjoy a drink or food in the restaurant.

Always a nice place to visit. Many saunas and pools/hot tubs to choose from. The relaxing areas are a bit open and cold. The whole place tends to be a bit cold outside of the saunas. Good massages.

It's a naked spa. While we were ok with it, I wish the website would have mentioned it more explicitly. Other than that, the facilities were excellent, several types of saunas, very nice swimming pools; and overall really relaxing. In the package we got, the food was included, however, the staff at the restaurant felt very impersonal and sometimes plain rude. The food wasn't great either, just lacked any spicing whatsoever. I felt like a lot of the staff expected us to know the drill about the place, even though it was our first time there. They seemed confused that we asked anything. Make sure to bring your own towel, flip-flops and bath robe. They will charge you extra for most things.

A really nice spa complex, with pools, dry saunas, steam baths and massage. The indoor/outdoor pool is especially good in the winter. The staff are a bit impersonal and the restaurant more like a canteen. Not much info from reception so you'll need to work things out yourself or ask some of the other guests. We bought a package, which was good. But, be careful as they charge extra for all sorts of things — even whipped cream on a complimentary cake. Bring your own bathrobe, towel and flip flops. The hot stone massage and relaxation massage were both professional and carried out with warmth.

What to say about this hotel so much it is super beautiful… Luxury as I like… an amazing spa and the principle of the bracelet is perfect count €40 for the taxi shuttle from the airport.

One of the most beautiful spas in Europe. Attention It is located in the Netherlands. A country where spas are naturist.

I visited the SPA with my girlfriend (not the Hotel) and we loved it. A lot of space, steam rooms, saunas, pools, a large outdoor space, multiple options for treatments. The facilities are clean and well organized. The restaurant (inside the spa) serves delicious food. This is definitely something to try in Amsterdam if you can book ahead (check the discounted offers they put online every now and then! ). I would just suggest the people at the hotel reception to give clearer instructions for the SPA.

The spa is nice if you like to be naked.

Superb hotel with various facilities including a large spa with indoor pool overlooking a heated outdoor pool all year round. There is also a gym, tennis courts, …
On the other hand, if you plan to go to the centre of Amsterdam on foot, it may be complicated. The hotel is quite far from the center. Fortunately there are many public transportation in this city. By tram and Metro you will have no worries to get there!

Expensive for the service, moderately cleaned room, no resto on site (except in Spa)

We booked at this hotel through booking, where the pictures of the SPA and indoor pool caught our attention. Arriving, and being doing the checkin, by the way they charge you just arrived, we are told that the SPA and pool are nudists, except Tuesdays and Thursdays. Not being interested in this type of facilities, we told the reception Miss Alice, who told us that was also the manager, we had not seen this feature so important in BOOKING, and the same dry and leading, told us to looked Well that it was, and of course, without even stepping on the room, charged us EUR 179. Dear readers, said Ms. Was right, the definition of nudism is in "additional information" among many others, when it really is a basic information to not mislead travelers and therefore should be clearly indicated on the cover of Features. Dear readers, look good in the secondary paragraphs, if you do not want to see in this type of situations, and even more with this type of establishments that seem not to know the meaning of "courtesy"

My friends and I came here to enjoy the spa. We had an amazing time and the facility was top notch. The staff was extremely professional and helpful.

The food is also overpriced for the quality, I ordered a pasta with black olives for €18 and there were only 3 olives the rest was just red sauce and pasta. It’s the kind of dish I’d make on a hangover when I can’t be bothered to cook properly. I do wish they would improve the food and add some passion, love and flavour… the coffee is nice tho. Other than that I think this place is great. The staff is very professional and welcoming.

Went here today for spa. Property is nice so many pools, hot tubs, saunas — a lot of places to relax Got the hot stone massage — was done very well! But the front desk girls who check you in — are useless. They don't tell you anything what you need to know — where the lockers are, no useful information. They suck. Tip for your visit: — Bring your robe, towel and flip flops — — they charge 16 euro for that, plus 6 euro to buy flip-flops and you are required to have them. — If you are going to be there during lunch time, stop by the restaurant and notify that you will be eating there, otherwise there is a wait. — The spa lockers are AFTER the entrance to the spa on the second floor. The lockers are SMALL. So stashing all your things in a plastic bag and bringing it here, is the only thing that will work. — Massage is nice, reserve it online before you arrive few days in advance. — Bring your own bottle for water. Refill it with the water by the spa desk — I brought hair mask and scrub and all the skin care products, and there is pretty much nowhere you can do all that.

Sauna and wellness. Indoor swimming pool where you can go to Ausenscheimmen. Large offer in the Ausenbereich with deck chairs. Restaurant also in the Ausenbereich with seating. Indoor saunas. Open relaxation room on the first floor. With good beds with side table. Missing signs to the Aufgiessauna.

It's a great place to relax, the facilities are good. I loved it etc. But let's talk about the bad stuff, the RESTAURANT! The staff didn't have welcoming faces and some didn't know to communicate. The ones that work in the kitchen are not so clean. Since it's an open kitchen I could see how their hands weren't being washed and how they would touch other things and then the food. The food is nice but not the best so after all of these it shouldn't be this expensive. They really have high prices on food or on things you wanna rent and the massage… For the rest I advice everyone to go to this place.

Was a favourite, we go almost every month in the last year and would spend the whole day there. In this summer, the qualities of food and service have both gone down drastically. The last time we visited on Wednesday, the kipsate was not marinated (no flavour) and was served with watery beans, one of the lemonade was watered down, the fries were super greasy… Oh yeah, there was mold inside the raspberries and the staff was very nice to offer more fruit… but there was mold in those raspberries yet again! To top it up, the serving staff was so busy and hard to track down, and when they do come over, they seem so overworked and cranky… I am leaving a bad review to voice my concerns, and hopefully to get the attention of the management — Spa Zuiver was top quality in terms of food and service and this is really going in the wrong direction!

As always, the visit to Spa Zuiver was excellent. The clean, inviting facilities combined with the professional and very friendly staff made this a perfect day to relax and re-energize. On things to improve: the well-priced food was a little dry. The lunch buffet was not available. The free scrub minerals and soaps have been replaced by cheap soap. On the other hand, though, the sauna sessions were wonderful and left nothing to be desired. And that's the most important part of the spa visit. Spending a day at Spa Zuiver is definitely recommended.

Wonderful hotel with such a large spa area as one knows in Germany only in thermal baths. The city centre in Amsterdam can be reached by bike in at least 20 minutes. We are very athletic and have needed much longer. But you can reward yourself in the spa and relax. The rooms are very chick.

But just don't forget the bathrobe… The fun then costs again 8.5 Otherwise it would have become 5 stars.

Great Hotel with spa and fitness…

Spacious spa with a nice variety of pools, saunas, jacuzzis and a big swimming pool. Wonderful restaurant — I've loved every meal and drink I've had there. Could be a bit crowded and only Tuesday/Thursday are swimsuit days. Definitely worth the price and a person should spend a whole day there.

We were at the spa with an evening entrance, it was a very positive experience. The space is very large, the staff friendly (they made sure we understood that it was a "naked spa"). A definitely recommended and relaxing experience.

I really like this fairly big hotel spa and come here on a regular basis. The facilitites are great, there is a lot of different saunas to choose from and the beauty treatments and massages are good. However, I was quiet upset to learn that they will introduce another "badkleedingsdag" (day on which the facilities can be entered in swimwear) on Thursday in addition to Tuesday from April 2016 onwards.

An amazing experience out of what you would expect in Amsterdam. Although I would not give it a five individually as an spa or gym, the mix between, the people and laid back atmosphere is a five! The gym is nice, friendly staff and well design machines, but the best are the sauna sessions, incl. Aroma therapy, nice music, humorous staff and refreshing snack after! You have not tried the best in Amsterdam if you have not been here.

Fantastic. What a great way to spend a few hours doing nothing but relaxing. By far one of the cleanest and well equipped spas I have ever had the pleasure to visit. The next time we are in Amsterdam this will be top of the to do list.

It was really great and relaxing. It is worth going on weekend no a full day with 'delicious' package — it has dinner included. A lot of great saunas and great service. Wearing no clothes really makes you fully relax.

Simply a great spa. Wonderful & calm atmosphere, absolutely clean, friendly staff, and plenty of different kinds of pools and saunas. Entrance and on-location food & drinks are not exactly cheap, but well worth the price. Also, they recently introduced lower entrance prices on weekdays, so if you're free to go then, you'll get in for a very reasonable price (~22 Euro for the entire day currently).

The Spa and sports Hotel Ziuver is in the Amsterdam forest — and thus a good 10 minutes bus ride from the centre of the city — located. Suitable for anyone who is after a combination of holiday in Amsterdam with Spa is looking for. The Hotel has a large, inviting Spa area with several saunas, three Wirlpools, a 40-Meter long swimming pool and a snack bar with a relaxation area and a Restaurant. You can Park either in the Parking lot of the hotel — however, this is with 17, 50 Euro per night is not exactly cheap — or in a public car Park free of charge 100 metres from the Hotel. The Breakfast is an extra charge of EUR 12.50 per Person and per day to be booked. Here, however, must be said, that the Breakfast this price, in my opinion, will not meet. The selection is very clear and it takes sometimes very long, up refills. All in all, but absolutely recommended.

Really great spa place, easy to spend the whole day there. One of the best I have visited in Holland. For those who dont like the naked thing then a Tuesday is probably the best day for you to visit.

Way out of the city center and closely to Amstelveen lies this Wellness resort. Personally I find this one of the best, if not the best, wellness resorts in the Netherlands. The place is big and there is a great number of saunas to choose from. Wood-sauna, sound-sauna, light-therapy, you name it and they have it. Hygiene wise this place is very clean and the place is dressed really modern. There is a big pool and some jacuzzi's inside as-well as outside. Food-wise there is a restaurant and a bistro on the main and first floor inside, the food is great. Inside and outside there are bars. A great place if you're looking to relax.

Completely disappointed at the management of the spa. They have made it very clear by phone that swim suits are available in the shop, they even mentioned the prices and different models. When I arrived there the shop apparently stopped selling swim wear for a very long time. Basically. I was not given the chance to enter the spa and I had to pay over 70 euros for two way taxi.

Place is bigger than it looks. There are various rooms to keep active. Indoor as outdoor. One of the most popular spa's is opgieten. Something you need to experience at least one.

I stayed here but didn't get to enjoy everything the hotel had to offer. I was very impressed with everything there was to do. Not close to city centre but its a short cab ride.

Great spa! It never fails to please.

Went to this fantastic SPA in the forest Amsterdamse bos, which is close to Amstelveen. The forest is beautiful to begin with, and the SPA has facilities for sports besides the relaxing activities I went there for. If you bring your own bathrobe and towel, you can save some money to avoid having to rent them which is something I would normally expect to be included in the price when going to a SPA. At Zuiveer, you can either buy a package deal or pay by the hour. I did the latter. There are fantastic saunas, which is a good USP for me as a Swede. Minth, aroma therapy, music, colors, typical Finnish style. There is a sauna for every taste. Jaccuzzis indoors and outdoors, opportunities for tanning on a nice day in a yard and a big pool to swim in. The best of all was the sauna activity in the Finnish sauna, where once every 2 hours there is a session where around 10-20 people sits in the sauna and a person pours aroma oil and ice on the hot rocks and then goes around swishing a towel around so the hot air blows comfortably on your skin and warms you up. The SPA has some rules. You cannot bring food, but since the restaurant is good and actually not too expensive this is OK. You have to be naked (unless you go on a Tuesday or special days when you have to wear swimwear). Dutchies are comfy with nudeness but it took some time for me to get over. But the athmosphere is so relaxing, so that you soon forget you are nude anyway.
