Great service and very friendly staff.

Apollo cancelled my booking because of Covid and insists in giving me a voucher instead of a refund. People are dying because of this pandemic, and hotels like Apollo are exploring this to profit. Shame on you!

Worst hotel we have ever stayed in! The room stank of sewage, soaking wet carpet, filthy and that small we had to get dressed one at a time!
We were not informed it was under refurbishment and there would be no bar or restaurant!

A beautiful room in the heart of a beautiful city with views of historic architecture. The hotel looked after our bags as we explored the city and the rooms were ready early. I was more than content, it was clean, cosy and welcoming and location was great. The staff were polite and very helpful. Thank you. I would reccomend this and come again.

Room was cold, heating control was obviously not working. When I complained to reception I was told a heater would be put in my room.
Needless to say a heater was not forthcoming, neither was the heating fixed. The corridor had full heating.
The snacks were two different prices on consecutive days. Young staff were polite but badly trained.

Good hotel. Good location xx.

Really enjoyed our stay here! We had a great room and the hotel is well located for grabbing the tram, going museums or walking the canals! Wish they included breakfast instead of it being an added fee, we felt it was a bit expensive for what was offered. But overall I would highly recommend staying here if you visit this awesome city!

We had a fantastic 5 day stay in a two bedroom. The rooms were very spacious and bathroom was excellent. Wifi strength was weak, that was our only issue. Thanks for a great visit! Highly recommend.

Was not impressed. 1st room was super tiny on the ground floor with a smell. Moved to the 3rd floor, room still tiny. No smell, but the air conditioned made notices all night. Asked for extra towels, never did bring. Front desk staff or friendly. Very cold without a smile. Had car parked and needed to pick up traveler at airport, told couldnot get until morning, drivers celebrating holiday? Carpet on the 3rd floor torn and worn. Showers had no way to keep water from dripping all over the floor. Step up to get to bathroom, was afraid of tripping on step. Had to be super careful.
Breakfast was ok, staff was at least more friendly the front desk. Would select another location next time.

Hello, ive just been this last 4 days at one of your hotels at "best western apollo museum hotel amsterdam city center"
I paid for a room, and then upgraded to deluxe room, I got a funny room very small without elevator and the bed was divided even tho that me and my girlfriend orderd twin bed in the internet. We asked to switch the room and 1 day after we got also a very small room and im sure it wasnt deluxe. The rooms in the pictures are not true and they are a lot smaller. Yesterday I asked to make a phone call from the reception for a shop in amsterdam and the guy at the desk told me that I can make a phone call from the room that is not problem.
I said thank you very much and made my phone calls. Never thought that it cost money to make a phone call from the phone and the guy at the desk didnt tell me. In the checkout I needed to pay 13€ for 2 phone calls and I asked the manager "sussane kostel" can you help us and take the charge off? We didnt know and no body at the hotel told us anything about it? She smiled and said that she cannot and she dont want to. She said I cant see any other manager and I need to handle with her. I asked very nicely again for a higher manager and refused. I left the hotel with a very bad feeling and im not planning to come again. I write all this review so you can watch the people that working in your company to inssure at least a good service with a smile.

Location ok, room ok. The problem arose with the extremely noisy roadworks outside our room, woken up before 7am. When we checked out I complained that we weren't warned about this and were told "we don't have to when it's outside" no apology then asked to pay Amsterdam a city tax for keeping us awake. The staffs attitude was frankly awful. Would certainly NOT recommend.
