Helpful staff with directions and suggestions for restaurants. Comfy room and quite clean.
I will stop here again.

My wife had a necklace stolen from a jewelry bag buried at the bottom of her suitcase in our room. We didn’t want to be too accusatory or involve the police because we couldn’t be certain it wasn’t just misplaced, so we just reported to the front desk and they effectively told us to look again, and that they’d let us know if it turned up. Now we are sure it was stolen, because we’re missing about $1000 USD in other currencies from the bottom of a separate suitcase. Good deal for the room rate. Terrible deal when their cleaning staff makes your Euro trip 25% more expensive.

This is what I would call a boutique hotel. It is on a quiet street only 3 minutes from Rijksmuseum and a few more to the restaurant area Staff were super friendly and allowed us to get to our rooms much earlier than the regular check in time. Room was small but efficient, bed was comfortable. Hotel looks like a converted large town home and is nicely appointed throughout with plenty of quiet seating spots. The bar was convenient and not too expensive.

Stayed here for Kings Day and it was a great stay. Perfect location, a few minutes from the main city center, next to Vondel Park but in a quiet location. Our check in was for 3pm but they allowed us into our room for 12:30 when we arrived. They upgraded us to a superior room for free of charge, the room was very nice and had all the necessities. The staff were helpful, we soon discovered that we forgot our toothbrushes and chargers and plug converters and they supplied all these with no fuss. A very nice stay.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. Staff was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good-nice touch to have Prosecco out by the juices. I had lovely stained glass windows in my room, and a balcony to enjoy the view.

Very comfortable. Love the mini espresso machine. Watch out for the shower tub if you are short. The edge came up to my upper thigh. Tricky to get out of the shower. Quiet and pleasant street. Excellent bed. So close to to the tram stops, a supermarket to pick up cheaper mineral water and a number of museums. Watch out though if you arrive early morning in Amsterdam. My room wasn't ready till 1:00.32 hours without sleep or a shower. Check-in is at 3 p. M. But after a long overseas flight, a shower and a one hour nap is critical.

the reception is nice, the hotel and breakfast is central to make the hotel move to the city center and access close to public transport
arrival and departure from the airport by bus so very inexpensive.

I do not know the price, but by situation, tranquility and aesthetics is outstanding. Better breakfast but more than enough. Cleaning and maintenance, without blemish.

It's in a great location near Tran stations as well as being walkable to a lot of area attractions, food, and shopping. The rooms are very small but reasonably comfortable.

Clean, fabulous staff. The shower was a serious challenge. I did not feel at all safe in the bathroom.

Disappointed by this "4 star" hotel. The rooms are vey small and the bathroom is old. Almost no pressure on the shower, air dryer from the 90s, towels smelled chemicals. There also is a CD reader for music in case a ghost from the 80s showed up. Only good things are the bed that is spacious and very comfortable and their "spa" which is basically a big bath tube, a solarium and a shower. I asked for the water pressure to be checked but they didn't do anything. I then asked for an iron in the morning with steam so I can iron my shirts, this is the second morning they forgot. Overall this hotel is not bad but will no survive loger in a modern world, they should adapt, specially for a 4 star in the heart of Asterdam.

Beautiful boutique hotel located conveniently beside the Museum Quarter. Easy to get into the city centre by jumping into a tram too. Rooms are nicely furnished and really clean.

I had one of the small twin only rooms on the 2nd (3rd if you're from North America) floor. The room is tiny, but very comfortable and has everything you could need. The elevator is very helpful, as the stairs (like most European countries) are very steep and narrow. The location is amazing: 1 block to Museumplein (Van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, Diamond, Moco, Amsterdam sign, etc), 1.5 blocks to multiple tram lines, walking distances (5-10min) to the hop on/off canal/boat cruise and high end shopping, 2-3 blocks from Vondelpark… the Airport express bus 197 runs within 1.5 blocks and is about 3min walk if you get off at the Rijksmuseum stop. Have had a wonderful experience!

Expensive for what crappy that is, small room and the heating could not regulate our taste, it was cold at night. The worst thing is that I disappeared a piece of clothing and, when you write to them to find a solution, both ignored completely.

Hotel in the area of museums in a very quiet and elegant, a few hundred meters from trams and buses, including the 197 to and from the airport. The Staff were helpful and courteous, ready to help and always with a smile, the room was very clean, bed and pillows really comfortable, present in the room a coffee machine with 4 pods and a kettle with the the. Many bath products, which are restored on a daily basis. Finally a housekeeping staff very unobtrusive and quiet. It was possible during check-out, deposit Your luggage for several hours. On the whole, the judgment is very good.

Rooms small and average cleanliness… not worthy of a 4 star at 150 euros per night. We just pay for the location that is perfect.

Just stayed here for 1 night a few weeks ago with my partner and loved it! The location is superb, so close to many vibrant and cultural sights like the Rijksmuseum, which is our favourite museum! The team was super friendly and welcoming, the breakfast was excellent and we loved the authentic look of the hotel and our superior room with very special frontside balcony! Nothing but praise for this hotel, so stylish but casual at the same time!

Nice hotel in a very good area. Very easy walking distance to the main museums. Americans may consider the room small, but it is standard fare in Amsterdam. The people are all real nice. The buffet breakfast was better than I have had at other hotels in Amsterdam. My big two for hotels are a clean room and a comfortable bed. The hotel had both of those.

Peaceful location, near to Museums and tram stop. Very helpful, charming staff. Excellent buffet breakfasts. Room on the small side, as others have said, but spotlessly clean and very comfortable, both for temperature and bed. Well worth looking for a bed and breakfast deal — ours was excellent value for money. Would be happy to recommend this hotel and stay again.
