Hotel to flee.
Room and dirty sheets poorly insulated with a null PA and equipment that do not work (light does not turn off easily) no reception (but when the card does not work at 1am we realize the usefulness of the reception)

Very clean the best quality price.

+ location was good to very good, Price was also OK. Therefore there is a star-if you would like, then you could let the rooms with little money to look halfway in order.
— on the sheet were hair and it was a little dirty — very noisy! You can hear everything on the street and in the whole house.
— the furniture is worn out — poor sharing of the rooms (you come in directly to the bathroom)

Maybe years ago this was a very nice hotel. But right now it is not! Air-condition is broken, you can't shutdown the vent and with an extra heater you can heat the room a little. Poorly maintained. No working TV. Pro: Location.

No hot water in room on first night. Cold showers in the morning when it was — 3 outside. Broken electric heater, as room air con doesn’t work the room was freezing cold. Lights did not work in the room as well as side lamp not working. This was so disappointing. Cold dark room. Hotel cleaner extremely rude too! Waiting on a refund.

The room was in a bad condition: stains on the curtains, damaged furniture and walls, sink didn't work well. It's very loud, there's no sound isolation. Especially, with the construction work outside. If you still are planning to stay at this hotel — I recommend buying some earplugs. There's no reception, the "sister" hotel where you can leave your luggage is far away. The room was very cold. In general, we had a feeling that we're sleeping on the street: so loud and cold it was. From the good parts, I can mention the comfortable bed and the good location. I recommend trying to find other alternatives before you decide to stay at the hotel Maxime.

Horrible hotel, I counted 4 holes in the wall, insects on the floor, towels had holes in them, sheets were stained on every side even down to the matress. Very dusty I had to take allery medicine. Very dirty and walls needed a good paint. The lift was like something out of a horrlr film. Do not book if you dont like lifts. Dont waste your money.

Potential to be a 5 star review, but so poorly maintained. Holes in the wall, broken taps etc. Great location and the room is very nice if you look past the damages.

Very nice location and Design but not so clean.

My girlfriend and I have been here for few days. The hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff is efficient and helpful. There isn't a reception, instead for the last day we could leave our luggages in the sister hotel. It is in a strategic position, near Vondelpark and near the city center.

Great hotel, no reception so don't count on any service. But the rooms are perfect and clean, nice bathroom. Ideaal located near Leidseplein (Leidse square) and public transportation nearby within walking distance.

The hotel was OK. When we arrived our code didn't work but after calling them they fixed it. The room was very small but good enough for few nights. The shower doesn't close (there's no door) so it was pretty cold. They used mobile heaters though so we could take one and put it in the bathroom (which is neither ecological nor very safe).

Great place to hang out with a wine, champagne or coffee on the most famous street of The Netherlands.
