Hotel Continental Amsterdam Hotel

You get what you pay for, decent and cozzy. Not recommended for couples. Street can be noisy.

I did not like it… I have given two star because it is in center.

Go if you do not have option. I do not recommended for family and specially if you have kida and old age people's with you. Very congested. No lift. No room service. Common toilet. Superb Congested bath cabin. If you don't believe me then Go and visite.

Great location and not too expensive. Don't expect a fancy room or mints on the pillow. Just clean basics for a good price, in an ideal location. Pack light, since there's no elevator. Did I mention the super convenient location?

Cheapish but not Cheerful. Quad room is barely big enough for one bed never mind four. Small sink in room with four small lockers that don't lock! It's classified as a hotel but it's definitely a hostel at hotel prices. Shared shower and toilet. If you're 6ft+ like me then you struggle to fit in the shower cubical and toilet which are in 2 separate rooms. I guess it's ok if you're just traveling but there's better places for less money in Amsterdam.

Rotten hotel! The room looks like a prison cell, the floor wasn't even clean. The shower curtain was disgusting. There is only the location that is good. Really disappointed to have paid so much for it.
It stinks and either says the rooms are "non-smoking" but the window is filled with cigarette butts…
Big joke this hotel.

This hotel is what you would expect for the price, given it is located a 5 min walk from Centraal. There are a lot of stairs, but it is Holland, this has to be expected. The staff at this hotel are FANTASTIC! Sasha and Misha, (sorry if I spelt the names wrong) you guys are great. I will definitely stay here again.

Location is really good, but the rooms are too small. We were 4 in a room for 6 people and we can move. The room was clean, the problem is with the dimension. Service people was kind.

Construction site in front of the window showers totally filthy, some mold on the ceilings and walls… never again this hotel!

Not a cozy hotel in the toilet occupied by cockroaches.

I Didn't go in to this expecting much due to six of us sharing a room with a private bathroom, but the room was clean, fresh towels every day and amazing location, could not fault one bit definatly will be returning.

The particular treatment of a person, not if it is the owner, was very rude. Otherwise it was basically comfortable.

Great location on the main road, and especially Mario a man besides being sympathetic is also very helpful!

Very basic hotel with tiny outdated rooms. The shower room was nice but again very small. Hotel staff polite and helpful. Location is spot on in the centre which is why it has a premium price tag but next time we go we'll stay a bit out of the city and walk in.

I visited the hotel in the fall, and found it to be clean and tidy!
The staff are courteous and helpful the girl in the morning especially.
Too bad for the rooms a little small, but we are in Amsterdam… For what you pay in this Hotel you adapt easily.
It is located in a strategic place, right on the Dam square and close to every need, coffie shop, restaurants and various Schimico, at 300 meters from the red light district and 200 meters from the train station.
I would recommend it and I think I should consider if there was availability.

Great Central location but very loud people in the streets and loud guests. Guests were also smoking cigarettes outside our door and the smell filled the room.

The 'hotel' needs maintaining, however the receptionists are very friendly and helpful.

Sorry I'm late! * I have stayed at this hotel for about a week. What about it? Delighted! If you are a tourist, you want to stay in the centre of Amsterdam a few steps from shops and… This is the right place! The rates are excellent and the staff super friendly!

My friend and I stayed there with our kids… Each and every member of staff was very welcoming and lovely. The hotel is very central … everything is within reach. Shops … restaurants. Sites … loads of information on what to do and places to visit available … The room was very clean. Would definitely return. Lovely staff… Thank you guys for everything. X.

Very well located. It is near central station. Rooms are small but clean.

I didn't like this place, rooms are so small and the worst thing that it does not have a lift white the stairs are so tony and spiral. People are nice and the location is great.

The rooms were more spacious than I thought. Bed are comfortable and the toilet bathroom are in good condition. It's slightly expensive for 1 star but it's in prime location.

We stayed here for 3 nights on a short trip with college friends. The location was brilliant. The place was clean. We had a shower in our room even though we didn't ask for one which was great. The beds were super comfy too and very helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

Tiny rooms, bathrooms do not talk about it because I gets hurt, exorbitant prices, steep stairs, in the hallways stinks of greasy and fried and various filthy robes, as soon as you enter the room there were alcohol vapors because of the cleanliness you were sick, the beds were worth, The only good thing that was in the center!
