Nothing to complain about great very clean welcome and friendly staff.

We loved our stay here, and can't wait to come back. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. Special kudos to Jay at the front desk. He answered every stupid question I had with a smile and great patience and was just a very pleasant person to talk to. Early check-in was great as was breakfast every morning. Location across from Centraal Station made it easy to get anywhere you would want to go and the availability of smoking rooms is a nice plus.

It a very basic hotel bedrooms are very small no tea or coffee in the room you can get tea or coffee hot chocolate free 24hrs & water down stairs the rooms are clean you are a cross the road from the big bus & canal boat 5mins walk to Dam square all the shops are around that way with in walk distance of Anne Frank's house a must see tickets are sold up 2months on the day you want to go they put up 20 tickets online if you're lucky you could get them they go on sale around 9am my daughter had her iPad & iPhone on there page from 8.30am yes we got tickets the breakfast is good it help yourself there is plenty thing to choose from it a very basic hotel if you're only staying for 4 days it fine staff are all very friendly they all speak English beds are made daily with clean bedding. There is free WI. FI Signal very strong.

Super Central location, very nice and competent Service.

Staff very friendly, bar service and coffee always available and free of charge, easy to reach and comfortable to start discovering the city!

Staff are very helpful and pleasant. Rooms always clean and enough space. Breakfast is continental but plenty of choice.

An awesome hotel. It is not the most fancy. But the staff here are so helpful and go above and beyond. It is also close to the Amsterdam Central station so if you are travelling by train it’s very close.

This hotel is worth the stay. I have absolutely nothing negative to say. Location is fantastic. Just a walking distance to the centrum and 7 min to both train and metro station. To me and 6 girlfriends, this place feels like home. Brrakfast is included in the price. They even prepared breakfast for us early in the morning at 5.30 because we need to leave for the airport at 6.00am! This is service! There was miscommunication when we arrived about the room sharing but my girlfriend got a room with a good price especially at the last minute. Room for 3 perfect! AC! No mini bar in the room but not necessary as there is coffee and water machine ready and free in the restaurant. Staff are very warm, helpful and friendly. I would definitely come again and stay in this place!

Great location, literally two minutes from the main railway station. Has a slightly quirky railway theme. Rooms are fairly small, but entirely consistent with other hotels I have stayed in, in this general area. Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Ideal location to explore Amsterdam Central.

This is a nice little hotel. It was clean everyone was very nice and helpful at all times. It felt a lot like a college dorm though. There were two full size beds and a small desk. The hotel was close to the Res Light District but it was a bit of a walk to other locations. They serve breakfast it was okay. Just a simple spread. They rooms didn't have any shampoo or conditioner in them, I believe guests need to ask for them at the front desk. Whenever guests leave the hotel they have to leave their key at the front desk and hang on to a small orange piece of paper. When you come back to the hotel you show them the paper and get your key back. Overall not a bad stay but I'd recommend of you were in college and there with friends primarily going to the Red Light District.

Surprisingly quiet hotel due to its location. You can actually see it from the train station. (Walking out of the train station look across the street to the right. ) I had a single room, it was small by American standards but normal by European standards. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. (There was a safe in the room)

Love this Hotel. Paying for what you want, nothing poncy good clean rooms on suite bathroom. TV, Wifi. And breakfast. It's located opposite the Amsterdam central station. Perfect for me. Hey if anyone is a train lover and you visit Amsterdam you have to stay hear. I will be booking my next trip and staying at this hotel. Love it.

The hotel is in a prime location. With Good services. But, the hotel lobby is filled with cigarette smoke. Else, rest all were really good.

No frills hotel, low maintenance boutique (read: small) room. Substandard internet connection, daily breakfast was fruit, cheese and deli meat, and toast. The most interesting part of the stay was the train history decor. Images, vintage suitcases, even the tables caters to train travel.

The best thing is to stop for 2-3 days. Near the train station and the center!

Well located in front of Amsterdam's Central Station. Nearby all the essentials are walks through the canals, lots of souvenir shops, cheese shops and a supermarket. The main attractions of the old town are no more than 5 minutes on foot. Friendly staff. The hotel is designed in a railway style. Breakfasts are not abundant, but you won't stay hungry. )

Amazing, all set as a train from the beginning of the last century. You have to visit.

The location is excellent for walking to the Red light district, the train station and the canals, the hotel is very nice and its staff very amamble.

Dear Place for what it offers.
I would like to report a discrepancy when you book accept the. Request for rooms. For smokers, however when you arrive, they give you a non-smoking room and if you smoke inside you have to pay €100 more for each day you smoked, for cleaning the additional rooms.
I share that if you smoke in the room the room is then sanctified, but if I. Take €470 for three nights and give me a room to B&B suitable for Mickey Mouse, the offer of a-train is distant light years from what is offered by the neighborhood of the "Hotel".
I will never go back! I recommend dispassionately!

Fantastic theme hotel with a great location close to everything. Very polite staff with quaint and clean settings. Breakfast was perfect with warm bread and other light snacks that got the mornings started just right. I will definitely stay there again on my next visit.

Beautiful hotel decorated with motifs and railway handicrafts. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but very warm. Breakfast is excellent. It has a very good location, close to Amsterdam Central Station, allowing you to reach all the points of the city.

Location is fantastic, central and very close to train station. Room was very clean and tidy. Only drawback was breakfast was very ordinary, basically toast and cereal. A bit of a letdown after the full breakfast so many other hotels had offered.

The room (twin) was very cosy and comfortable; everything was spot-on. Staff were friendly and able to answer all questions very well. The only drawback was breakfast, as only a very limited selection was offered.

A very handy hotel as it's located 3 minutes from Amsterdam Central train station. Friendly staff, big breakfasts and a train theme running though everything. Highly recommended.

Very nice place in Amsterdam to stay and eat your breakfast, we really liked the breakfast and the comfortable beds. From the hotel is everything easy reachable in Amsterdam by walking. 5 stars and I really would recommend it and even more if you like trains!

Hotel Hyper Central, clean, quiet receptionist very friendly. Breakfast included in the price is plentiful and good.

Ideally situated across the central station. We had a quiet room towards the inner courtyard. The hotel feels a bit old but the bathroom was renovated.

It's very near the central train /bus / tram station. Good location. Small rooms, but the same small sized beds offered in most places in Europe. Two twins next to each other that equal one queen. No air conditioning, just a fan, no fan in the bathroom. Free breakfast in the morning that did not offer many options. The staff were extremely helpful, very polite. That's the best part of this hotel. Not a bad place, just average but the staff certainly was the highlight.

Excellent customer service. Room 305 was excellent for kids. Stairs were a little steep to the room though. Would be a 5 star but the parking was a 15 minute walk and was charged 34 euro for a day.

I love this hotel. Stayed here 10 years ago and it was great. Came back and the owner remembered me. Has that ever happened to a one night guest at the Hilton? I don't think so. Service is amazing, the breakfast is good, rooms are clean and efficient. A plus.

If you want to have an interesting experience, this is an opportunity. This hotel is decorated as if it were a train. The seats are train, on the floor there are rails drawn and all the decoration is a railway To that there is to add that the terrain is very narrow, and it seems that one is in a railway carriage. The attention of the staff is good, the location excellent and it is cheap. Who look for comforts and luxuries, this is not your destination.

Good Basic accommodations in a prime location. Bed extremely comfortable. Breakfast fresh and staff friendly. I will definitely return. Not fancy in the least but very clean. Very helpful staff!

Right across the street from Amsterdam Central Station. Smack dab in the middle of where you want to be. The sightseeing bus picks up about 100 meters from the door. The rooms were nice, albeit small, but it's not like you'll be spending any time there. Free breakfast was good and enough to get your day started. Overall I'd definitely recommend it. I'll surely be staying there the next time I have to pop into Amsterdam on the train.

Beautiful hotel in amsterdam, good deal, buffet breakfast justito but all in all very rich, good heating and some rooms have a microwave, fridge and kettle, coffee and tea, and is very well located just opposite the central train station.

The whole Hotel has a railway style as the Motto. The rooms are small and due to the sealed. However, even with only 6°C warm outside. They are well furnished, clean and in the style of the house, where more would be. The Breakfast is OK, the coffee could be better. The dining room consists of small compartments. The Service is friendly and speaks good English. Overall, the price (109, 00€ per night) is reasonable especially for the location.

Very quiet and very close to the center, very good breakfast.

I'm inside and it's at how spectacular, for a few days in Amsterdam is perfect, comfy bed and nice hot shower, towels are there. Perfect connection to the center.

Very good location but a little noisy.

The location is perfect, just in front of the central station, good location in the city and a lot of restoration up close. The rooms are okay for just sleeping, they are very small but the Wi-Fi is perfect even if you hear noise of the cars but without disturbing. The service at reception is perfect and the buffet breakfast a bit poor. Quality price ratio good.

Stayed here with hubby and 2 kids for one night this week in the lovely family room. Room was wonderful, kids loved the mezzanine where the 2 single beds were. Everything was spotlessly clean and fresh. All staff were super friendly and helpful. Would reccomend to anyone staying in Amsterdam. Very close to Amsterdam central station so easy to find to check-in and after a long day of exploring city!

Publicado em 2 de jun de 2016 During our stay at atrain Hotel in Amsterdam me had an Apple Macbook Pro notebook and R $ 800.00 in cash stolen. We stayed from 28th to 30th of April 2016.
On April 30, so we returned to our room, we noticed that a laptop was gone. A suitcase was opened and removed from R $ 800.00 in local currency.
When we went to the front desk, we saw something very strange: the trash bag to our room, which was exchanged for a clean, was forgotten on a table inside the room. The impression you gave us was that the cleaning person, to leave in a hurry forgot the garbage in the room.
With enough difficulty speaking the language, when we talk to the front desk about our missing belongings, you reception was quite angry assuming a defensive attitude. I could not believe what we were talking about. We asked to see the recordings of the cameras but they claimed that the cameras were recording not. Only went live. He called the manager, who checked the room, but just told us to go to the police, report it and fill out a complaint. He not accompanied us and even asked if we needed any help, as noticed our difficulty with the language.
It was 23:30, we had to go alone to the police station, since no one team accompanied us, or gave us any support. The next day, a Sunday, we tried to speak again with the manager, but he told us that he does not work during Sunday morning and he would not go to the hotel just to talk with us.

As the name implies you will be plunged into the world of the train.
We had the best room: with private terrace and patio.
Nice reception (the boss speaks French) and in the heart of Amsterdam to enjoy the city centre.
A few steps from the central station and the most famous neighborhoods.
