Comfortable beds and helpful and freindly friendly staff.

Amazing breakfast buffet! Nice warm room with balcony and bath tub. Friendly staff and free storage of luggage after checking out. Also free coffee and tea on weekdays in the hotel.
Hoping to go back there one day soon and enjoy the art deco style again.

Breakfast — heaven! Central to great shops and restaurants and the room was huge. Staff friendly.

Nice budget hotel. You get what you pay for. Nothing special. Their breakfast buffet is good. Loved the coffee even though it was from a machine.

+ great location, spacy rooms, modern bathroom. Kettle in the room. — carpet, not 100% clean and super worn out. Doing something about it would make room feel much cleaner.

Room with no air con, shower broken, room small. The bed is comfortable, but small-two is cramped. The bathroom has everything you need. Breakfast is good.

Me and my husband had a very nice time in your hotel. The breakfast is good en the city is very close to the hotel. The young bearded man, Mo, who runned the night shift helped us very well, we will thank him for that. Our compliments and when we will stay in the Netherlands we will defenitly come back to your hotel!

Rooms: Depends on what floor they assign. On the third floor; They are unwelcoming and they would need a good restoration and the horrible feeling of telluric movement. Certainly not a 4 star rated; Also being a standard room. Etc…

In need of a little decorating now but over all very clean and we had a lovely stay.

I have stayed in the Atlanta Rotterdam on a number of occasions. Its location makes it central enough to be able to walk to many of the fascinating building and sights or excellent bars and restaurant and just out of the way enough to be able to complete my work. The rooms are tidy, functional and always well turned out, however it is the people that make this hotel a great place to stay. Always polite, professional and welcoming with areal can do attitude. Nothing appears to be too much and I always feel welcomed.

The hotel is clean, the staff very nice. The continuation to the breakfast restaurant is somewhat adventurous, the buffet is not very demanding, sausage and cheese are not refrigerated. The hotel is located in the heart of the center, you really get anywhere on foot, which is really great at these parking fees. Wi-Fi is free.

Spent 4 nights here honestly the worst sleep I have ever had in a hotel, uncomfortable bed, very noisy and temperature is either too hot or cold they should invest in double glazing. The shower temperature was cold one minute boiling the next. Feel completely drained after a week of work and little sleep. I would say though the staff are very good.

We did a mistake while booking a room (yes, it can happen…) and called the hotel about 2 minutes after validating the booking. As the reservation was for the evening and prepaid, the reception (which made us wait about 20 minutes before giving any kind of news) simply told us to go f… off! "If we did a mistake, it is certainly not their problem to try and find a solution" : ( It is really amazing to talk in such a way to past and present clients!

Not very friendly.
I do not know where they could get them 4 star… Because the hotel may be worth 2.
The rooms are very small and the quality is less.
The positive point of the hotel is that this one is in the center of the city and that everything is close by.

The first time in my traveler life that the receptionist blocked my door because a breakfast wasn't pre-paid (I would have paid it during the check out) My first time I was blocked access to my room because a breakfast had not been pre-paid. A rare insolence at receptionists.

Clean rooms, attentive staff, FANTASTIC breakfast, attentive staff. The rooms are spacious, full shower with a bath tub, heated bathroom floor, fridge and keycoded safe. The internet is slow, but on par with every other European hotel I've had experience with.

Location is perfect, room is good, view for inner yard means silence, nothing special, you can stay here for reasonable price.

The satff is horrible, wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone, tried to charge us extra and we're very rude, even called us liars…, The location is good but the rooms are in poor condition combined with an unprofessional unfriendly staff = stay away!

Nice rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with a major choice, including eggs, pancakes and a big range of fresh fruit. In the center of the city. Close to departmentstores, fashion stores and coffee and tea restaurants.

Very old rooms, breakfast very good.

The staff was nice and very accommodating but the hotel left much to be desired. Warning to anyone who wants to stay here — be sure to specify that you want an interior room. Otherwise you are going to be woken up every morning at 3:30am by the drunken kids who swarm the 24-hour McDonald's across the street. Also, the food was dreadful. I usually do room service when I'm traveling for business but sitting alone at a normal restaurant was preferable to eating the food at the hotel. Also, the breakfast room cannot accommodate enough people. I was only able to eat breakfast once while I was there because there were no tables. Tip: call the night before and order a breakfast box. Finally, the housekeeping was very inconsistent. I was there for two weeks and I had to go to the front desk and ask that someone go change the sheets on my bed since they hadn't been changed since I arrived. Pretty gross. Also, don't expect your shampoo and conditioner to be refilled every day. It was like playing the lotto: some days the housekeeping would leave amenities, some days they wouldn't. All in all, I would not stay there again.

Well located hotel. I slept very well and room was clean and pleasantly large. Bartenders top.

Very good location. Very nice room size. The reception service can improve.

Disappointed with my room. Got a superior room as the photos on the website showed it was bigger than the standard room. The room is tiny and my husband and I have trouble moving around with luggage etc. When I raised thus at the front desk, I was told that it was an old hotel and therefore the rooms were of different sizes — but we pay te same even if in a small room. And to top it off, the someone I know got a standard room and it's bigger.
Breakfast is good though.

A very classic style with very nice personal. My room was nice and spacey. Same for the bathroom. It didn't bother me but the bath/shower did have a couple spots of mold and the crane had some rust. Amazing location. With a McDonalds across the street and a "nightshop" on 5 min walking distance.

I am a fan of the NH hotels. The Dutch ones are not as great as for example the German hotels. This hotel is ok. The room was not big, but good enough and it was clean. The view of the city and the Erasmusbridge from the room however was amazing!

I was checked in to room 257 as a standard room. The room is a death chamber. No ventilation at all. Cannot pass any health standard for accommodation regulations. Thanks to Dan who came to our rescue. I woke up in the night dizzy for lack of oxygen. Meanwhile, the mean & heartless receptionist (Ilse) insisted payments for upgrade cause we refuse to stay & die in the room according to her expectations. Beside the horrible experience, great breakfast, easy access in the middle of the city. The passage carpets are so dirty, can do with replacements.

Good and friendly service at the moment reception desk. I came in for a group booking and was referred to their reservations office. They contacted me within 24 hours for an option. Great!

Very good location to visit the city staff very pleasant by cons a lot of noises at night lack of double glazing.

In the middle of summer. With 30°c in the room and no air-conditioning… The only solution they gave me was a fan of my****. The building is old. But inside is not bad. Good breakfast.

It was acceptable. Quality control could be improved. * The room smelled like I was standing next to a sewer. * The outside of the shower didn't look all that great. * One of the plastic glasses used to wash your mouth after brushing your teeth was broken. Toilet was quite small. ** Felt like I had been given a room that no one had used for a long time. Other than that the room looked good and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was alright.

Rooms: Not as advertised. Ugly old carpet and the bed was not even 180x200cm in size. The price for the room is a total rip off!

First thing that drunk, no parking, good I got it in the end I was park in front during 2days.
Then the buildings, frankly I disenchanted direct what, it is old and ugly. Good one enters the it's not bad, the entrance is nice the reception also and the staff Nice!
He gives us our map, 5th floors rather not bad for the view, we arrive in the room and the I was really mixed, apart from the floor and some furniture everything is old, and ugly, I tell you not even the mouth of the switches, we see that they have 65 years squared… the Lamps are ugly, with a yellowed effect of the most DEGEU
The view was not bad, but the windows what, oh the LA, good the aperture system allows for well ventilated, but it's ugly, by practical, and so old… at this price the (€350) for 2 days, it's shameful
The beds, a yes we will talk about it, in general you are told "Big bed" and the one is found with two beds a place glued together… (Ironically at that time Google maps asked me if I found this place romantic)

The radiator makes a sound of sick we hear that even the day. And in the street a little but it goes the night frankly, and since the day is not at the hotel we fart a little.

A central hotel with ease of access to public transport services. Looking a little shabby, the rooms are comfortable and well distributed. Reasonable price.

Hotel is top. Located in heart of Rotterdam opposite the Townhall. My room at the 8th floor is excellent with a beautiful view over the city. Friendly staff in the hotel. What I also really liked is the breakfast. Good quality served in a beautiful place.

The room was very cold (old Windows), also the heater only helped to a limited extent.

The lobby and breakfast room are very grand — art deco style. However upstairs the corridors to get to the bedrooms are grey and have an unloved feel! My room was a little in need of a refurbishment, it was a bit chilly with the radiator behind the curtain and no easily understood temperature control, however it was clean and the bathroom had been updated with modern taps and shower fittings. Also agree with comments below, breakfast offered a huge choice, very generous, and our evening meal in the adjoining Chinese restaurant was very good! I'll go back again next time I need. Hotel in Rotterdam.

Central location, clean and correct. Although the rooms are not very well soundproofed.

The Hotel has rooms with outdated furnishings and renovated rooms. My tip is ask when you Check in to a renovated room. I was last year least 30 times in the Hotel to guest. The staff switches up to 1-2 people constantly. There were a few problems with my billing. The room rate was Booked for the part higher than. Therefore, only 3 stars.

Very large room, perhaps too, with a very comfortable extra large double bed and a useful closet for a longer stay. However the outdated fixtures make passing drafty of air very annoying and they do not befits a hotel in 4. Especially in winter this could be a real problem, although the radiators and blankets certainly help to feel better. Another thing lacking is the lighting of the room! A huge room lit by two abat jour and a floor lamp with the result that the room looks really dark making it difficult to even find the pajamas.
It is basically a giant weighted by the age that should be deeply renovated and modernized.

Place qualitatively in line with other NH hotels around the world but this especially has very high costs and the structure is not really brand new. Mediocre customer service. Recommended only for stays of very few nights.

We asked for a quiet room, but in the room next to us their were some drunk people singing and playing the guitar. Called the hotel multiple times, until in the end they finally got them to become quiet. Room itself was okay, old but decent. Breakfast was good and extensive.

Service? What service. Staff totally uninterested in the guest. I booked an upgraded room, but was given an old rundown room. Call reception. "we'll send someone up". 10 minutes later: "you want another room? " me: "no, I actually paid for another room, but you gave me this joint. " It went down hill from there. Had to ask 3 times for the pre-ordered extra bed for my son, of course when it finally arrived I had to chase staff for a pillow and towels. Not once did someone have the decency to apologize. I got better service in Germany or the subway in Moscow. Thankfully there are very good affordable hotels nearby as Atlanta will never see me again. The restaurant in the same building is outstandingly good (Chinese) and Atlanta is smack in the middle of town, but that is all the positive news. The restaurant does not belong to the hotel anyway. Sad how the poor attitude of staff can totally ruin a place.

The "basic" rooms are very small. The upholstery is old and worn. The fixtures are disgusting (to say the least) : cause draughts and not isolate the rooms. Really bad. The only good thing is the location.

I arrive late, at just past 22:30 The brasserie is already closed I go to my room to order room service It's 10:45 and I try to order something from the menu. A burger… To be told it's not possible. Oh I can order Guinea fowl with harricot verde & mashed potatoes 24 hours of the day… But a simple burger. No no that's not possible No wonder this hotel has suvh a ow.

Good hotel in central location "Great location, reasonable room fares and friendly staff. Room interiors are newly done and the beds are very comfortable. Did not take the breakfast as very very over priced 19€ per day : (Never thoung of using the minibar in the room as well. Good restaurants and supermarkets in walking diatance. ".

Ok experience. My room had no towels. I had to wait 15 minutes to get some in the morning.

Good location, room quite big compare to other hotel that I stayed in Rotherdam.

2 words. No air-conditioning. Knowing this prior to booking would have been helpful. Everything else about the hotel is fine.
