Located in the Thamel neighborhood in Kathmandu, 20.9 km from Nagarkot, Hotel Mi Casa features air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi throughout the property. The hotel has a terrace and views of the mountains, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant or a drink at the bar. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV with satellite channels. Some accommodations include a sitting area to relax in after a busy day. Certain rooms feature views of the garden or city. Every room includes a private bathroom. For your comfort, you will find free toiletries and a hairdryer. There is a 24-hour front desk at the property. The hotel also provides bike rental and car rental. The nearest airport is Tribhuvan Airport, 5 km from the property. Thamel is a great choice for travelers interested in shopping, food and hiking. I think only a good coffee machine is missing, but in Thamel you have lots of options to have a good strong coffee. We loved everything here! The staff is extremely friendly and made us feel very comfortable. Every time when we returned there they greeted us with a huge warm smile. The Wi-Fi is strong enough which is really unique in Nepal as we experienced. You have hot water with a proper pressure in the bathroom which is also a luxury thing. The location of the guesthouse is just great. Very close to Thamel but far enough from the busy roads. We could have proper rest during the nights there.

This is not a hotel but more like a home. Super friendly staff with a cozy home like decor. Only down side was that the bathroom didn't have a hand shower with the commode. I would definitely come here again.

Stayed one night at the end of a trekking trip in Annarpurna region. Average in almost all aspect. Acceptable levels of comfort, convince and location by Kathmandu standards. Close to Thamel without being right in the noisy and bustling environment. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent place but nothing special compared to many similar establishments in Than area.

I am giving this hotel 5 stars because I can't give it any more. I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was well stocked and comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the staff was absolutely wonderful. They went above and beyond to accomodate me. Every staff member I came into contact with was nothing less than totally friendly and accommodating. The location is in a great place, and the staff will recommend places to go and how to get there if you don't know where to go. Highly recommended!

Micasa hotel is located center of thamel. Staff are so helpful and friendly, room nicely decorated with full of color, its look like home rather then hotel.

Mi Casa is a little haven of tranquility in the hustle and bustle of Thamel. A real home from home with wonderful service from Shaila and his staff, it is impeccably clean. Although it is a little more pricey than a similar standard hotel elsewhere in Kathmandu, nowhere else will you find the same welcome. When I return to Kathmandu I will definitely stay at Mi Casa again.

Charming, great location and nice staff.

Real quiet, clean and pleasant place. After flying for more than 16 hours, it felt like home to us. The room was comfortable with great AC and hot shower. Everybody was super nice to us and treated us as royals. Recommended! :).

The hotel provides best and unique experience of Nepali tradition with the blend of Sherpa and typical Nepali culture found in remote regions of Nepal. The location of Micasa, core Thamel, also serves oneself for easy access. Personally, being a Nepali myself, I recommend Micasa — — — "My Home", in Spanish — — — for all foreigners or for Nepalese people for its best services, hospitality and care. :).

Specially Thanks to Hotel Mi Casa! A Newly opened hotel located at central Thamel, with cozy sunny rooms, well manage attach bathroom, typical Nepali restaurant and high speed Internet. As well as helpful and co-operative staff make my stay memorable.

I got to stay there for three nights. Right after Mi Casa's official opening. Before booking there I walked around for a while. Checking other places in the Thamel. Mi Casa definitely stands out! it's a charming hotel. On a quiet street! my room was beautifully decorated with a very large comfy bed. Everything was spotless clean. Mi Casa is a great place ran by great people.
