This place is phenomenal the owner and his staff are so great and polite. They'll get you a taxi, have your laundry done at a minimal charge. And the restaurant has delicious made from scratch traditional Nepali cuisine and a cozy little restaurant with Wi-Fi.

Nice place, clean and peaceful environment inside the hotel. Reasonable price.

Just spent a week at the Boudha Inn and it was a wonderful experience. Great food, great service, and great people. We came to Nepal for pilgrimage and the owner Ang graciously let us use his family shrine room to do our Ngondro practice. We can't wait till our next visit!

We came to Nepal for a week to do pilgrimage to all the Buddhist sites and monasteries in or around Kathmandu and decided to stay at the Boudha Inn. The Inn is conveniently a short walk from the Boudha Stupa. The owner Ang Sherpa and his wife are very accommodating and they graciously allowed us to do our Ngondro practices in their family shrine room. The rooms are comfortable and the service is top-notch. The food offered here is simple but delicious! Purna and Tsering who work at the hotel were sweet and charming as well! The Boudha Inn embodies the charm and hospitality of Nepal.

Ang Sherpa’s motto of “its all about the comfortable beds, ” is right at this boutique hotel in the Boudhanath neighborhood. The beds are clean and comfortable and the front desk staff are very attentive and friendly. Ang has many years serving international clients as a Sherpa and his experience shows. Many guests that stay are taking courses at the nearby monasteries but I was just needing a break from Thamel after completing The Three Passes Trek. It was an oasis for me. Plus it’s a pleasant ten minute walk to the Boudhanath Stupa. I spent a day walking up to the Kopan Monastery — which is about 35 minutes.

The area Boudha is relatively local's area A short 15 min walk will get you to the stupa The hotel is very clean, hot water, spacious and quite The amazing point for me was the roof top meditation room that's open for you to use anytime All the staff feel family oriented As a single female first time traveling to Nepal, it's so peaceful and safe I look forward to go back.

Stayed here for 8 nights. The hotel is quite decent and comes with a warm shower and is only about 10 minutes walking distance away from Boudha. As this is not near the Stupa area, the environment is clean and quiet and the rooms are spacious and not claustrophobic. Besides having a good range of breakfast meals to choose from, they also have very friendly staff who are helpful and kind. One of them even offered me re-hydration salts when I had mild food poisoning and offered me warm water to go with my food poisoning medicine. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wishes to stay in the Boudha area.

Ideally situated for visiting Stupa and surrounding monasteries, staff friendly and very helpful, hotel is spotless. Very reasonably priced and feels most welcoming! I would highly recommend. Finally stunning Sun set from roof top!

Pretty hotel, great location — a short simple walk to the Boudha Stupa down the same narrow street the locals and monks use.
Views of the city, monasteries, Shivapuri National Park from rooftop deck area.
Very affordable, clean, nice bedding, easy to meet other patrons on outdoor coffee patio. The staff took such good care of me, they even gave me a coffee cup (i drink a lot of coffee ❤️) and a red travel scarf as going away gifts.
Airport pickup and drop off is exceptional service and nice to have someone waiting for you at the chaotic airport.
