The place met my expectations. Although on the first day I couldn't get the gyser working, all I had to do was call and the problem was fixed on the next day.
I couldn't get tea and sugar because it was a Sunday. So I asked the hosts and they went and bought for me. Such great service and very kind host.
The room provided everything, pots, cutlery, plates, kettle, toaster, microwave, stove, Fridge, iron, ironing board, etc.
Beds where so comfortable and the room was so spacious. I would truly recommend this place.
The room was great, amenities where sufficient. Couldn't get in the pool because it was a bit chillie. TV was really small, but that's not the reason I was there so it didn't really bother me.
Location is pretty good, walking distance to the raft restaurant.

This place is very underrated. It is well equipped, neat luxurious for a very good rate. We enjoyed it so much. Nothing to complain. We spent only one day in Walvis and could walk around to see the whole town easily. Thank you I will recommend you to anyone.

It's perfect for a family if you are touring the area. It has great rooms, spacious lounge area and a big enough kitchen with all the usual amenities. We drove into swakopmund every day and around. The location is great also.

The rooms were clean and spacious. We stayed in two different rooms and both were fully equipped with pots, pans, cutlery and dishes for cooking in the kitchenette. There were large luxurious bathrooms as well. Excellent value for money!

After a grueling 10-hour ride through the mountain passes from Windhoek we arrived at Meransha's around 11 pm. We miraculously found the owner of the house that lives nearby, who (visibly) had to get out of bed to give us access. She helped us with the bags, gave us a tour of the house, and invited us to feel like it was ours.
The property is HUGE. We had 3 large rooms, 2 bedrooms, living room, with separate kitchen and bathroom, large real chimney, all to ourselves. Kitchen was fully working with everything necessary, we used it. Hot water in the shower was excellent. If we complained about ANYTHING — it was immediately attended to. As it was winter, we asked for a separate heater, it was there next morning. Just because we've never tried it before, we asked to help us make a fire in the chimney — they not only gave us all supplies for it, they taught us how to make it, and encouraged for more! On our last day, the lights went off. We complained. In the next 10 min there was a squad of electricians in the house fixing the wires.
The property also has space outside, which was beautifully decorated. We walked around but didn't spend long time there as it was very cold. We also didn't try the pool. It was enclosed in glass and looked inviting.
A huge plus is for the free separate GATED garage, felt very safe.
Location is excellent. 5 min walk along a leafy street to the water. Sea air around is amazing. There are number of restaurants and excursion within walking distance.
