True luxury combined with all aspects of nature. Excellent taste throughout the lodge. Spa setup, views and treatments in a class of its own. Rooms very clean and excellent quality linen. Fine cuisine and we enjoyed the opportunity to have our meals with slow service and grace in this beautiful setting. We shall definitely visit again.

As a travel agent, I have had the opportunity to stay at a lot of hotels and lodges, and regularly book for my clients. Divava Lodge, although set in a beautiful setting, was quite a let down. Service was extremely slow or non — existent. Lots of staff, but they where always "vanishing" somewhere. A lodge like this, should have staff that is constantly checking on you, asking you if you would like to have a drink. Bar service was slow. We always had to go and order something, or first find someone to find the bar man. The staff was however extremely friendly. That one could not fault.
As there is not much to do here, having better service would have changed the dinamic of our stay and I'm sure would definately up their revenue. It also seems that the managers kids where staying at this lodge. They where constantly playing music and dancing and we often had to ask if they could change the music. Housekeeping took 3 hours one day to clean our room, as they where waiting on bedding, which meant we could not go in our room to get ready for the day. I would rather stay at the lodge next door. MUCH better service and even their spa is half price.

Our family had a fantastic stay at Divava Lodge and Spa! The serene environment was ideal for a relaxing getaway. We were impressed by the variety of activities offered, each giving us a unique experience. Special recognition goes to Joseph, whose exceptional guidance and enthusiasm made our adventures memorable. His knowledge truly enriched our experience. We left feeling rejuvenated, filled with wonderful memories. This lodge is perfect for anyone looking to unwind amidst nature, and we highly recommend it for a blissful retreat.

A very comfortable well appointed lodge with excellent service focused staff. All rooms perched on the river bank with large viewing deck areas, the room also large, immaculately clean, a/c, inside or exterior shower, full bath with view. The food was also very good. Included 5 course served fixed menu dinner each evening, wine very reasonable from £12 a bottle. Lovely small pool area for a welcome cooling break. Wi-Fi at the lodge main areas only not in room.

The lodge is in a beautiful setting with stunning comfortable spacious rooms. The bath overlooking the river was really special and we enjoyed the outdoor shower. They did not cater very well for vegetarians/pescatarians even though knew in advance our dietary requirements. It meant we had very similar main meals each night. The staff were very friendly but were not really available when we needed them eg on arrival or sometimes at the bar. We did have a charming friendly waiter Patrick who was excellent. The game drives were variable guide wise and we particularly liked Mathews. Also the boat ride was lovely including sundowners at Poppa Falls. A lovely place to stay on the Kavango river.

Had a lovely experience in Caprivi at Divava. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Dinner service was delicious. Could bathe in a tub with views of the river, in a standard shower, or in an outside shower overlooking the river. We took a boat ride with sundowners on an island, and self-drove to the nearby Mahangu Game Reserve where we saw multiple buffalo, hippos, warthogs, and others near the water. Highly recommend this lodge.

While many Namibian lodges are, well, rustic, Divava provides elegance in the bush, both in the rooms and in the dining room. With lovely Okavango views everywhere.
While meals were of good quality, service left to be desired. Dinner starts at seven and we were seated at that time as were several other guests. Drink orders were taken and delivered promptly. And the food? At 7:25, the waiter asked us if we were ready for the amuse bouches. Ehm, yes! After our guide had a word with the chef, the rest of the dinner was served without further delays.
The nearby Mahango NP is a good place for excursions, there is plenty of animal action on the riverfront before sunset. The unofficial path right at the riverfront requires a 4x4, if you don’t have one, Divava offers game drives. Another recommended spot in the area is Mashi Crafts in Kongola. The huge store mainly sells basketry. I‘ve not seen a better choice and quality elsewhere in Namibia — and prices are very reasonable.

Very spacious rooms with a great view from the balcony and even from the bathtub. Food was also very good.
Game drives were also great, but you have to drive around 30 mins one-way to the parks on the main road, which costs you a lot of time during the game drives.
Anyways, we enjoyed our time there a lot!

Definitely the highlight of our two weeks in the Caprivi strip. The complex with 20 chalets overlooking the Okavango river offers mesmerising views.
We stayed three nights to allow the opportunity of using all the facilities, tours, and boat trips.
The dining area on an open deck allowed stunning sunsets and the sounds of the river and bush. The quality of food was the very best anywhere in Namibia — three excellent chefs produced top class fare — amazing given the remote location and access to supplies.
There were a few minor niggles but overall the management and staff were friendly and accommodating.

My family and I stayed here 2 nights, and the rooms were spacious and were set up to get the best views of the river and abundant natural light. The outside shower was delightful and the clawfoot tub luxurious. I wish we had had time to take advantage of the spa, it would be the perfect place to enjoy a self-care day. We took advantage of a sunset boat cruise to Popa Falls and highly recommend it. They provided wine and snacks on a small island we were able to walk around directly in the falls. The falls are more of rapids than a true waterfall, but still beautiful! Nature all around, and really good food. The staff were attentive and kind. Each evening ended in a spectacular sunset over the Kavango River — you even eat on the patio overlooking the river.

The scenery is breath taking, and the Managers are sooo friendly, not to say the least about the staff.

This place is paradise. The most beautiful place I have ever been by far. And their service is out of this world. And the food, oooh delicious. It is a must visit.
