5* experience. The friendliness and helpfulness of the staff definitely stands out.

Nice location and very nice food, beautifully presented. Very warm welcome but since day 2 you could feel that there was a change amongst the staff.

In the middle of a wonderful landscape, very friedly and a warm welcome for uns and for the kids.

I wanted to be in a dark, dry, comfortable location to see the southern skies and enjoy nights alone out in the desert.

Challenge yourself to drive the 6km to the top and arrive at your little oasis.

Absolutely stunning location, the view is amazing. The lodge offers breakfast, lunch, light lunch and dinner — so you won't go hungry.

I deliberately held back my review of this Gondwana pod experience until we stayed in all 3 non urban pods.
The Desert Whisper was our first pod experience and definitely my favorite.

From far the best travel experience I never had. If you have a chance to do it, don't miss it.

We stayed at at a Camping2Go tent for one night and it was fantastic. The location is great, very spacy. The tents are big enough for 4 people and you have a solid bathroom on each tent.

The place was fantastic for a 2 night stay. The staff were amazing all friendly and helpful, Abhi took us on a sossuvlei excursion and a sundowner and both were very memorable.

We set off by car from Windhoek and didn’t arrive at AGAMA LODGE until around 4 p. M. After a bumpy drive through the wild desert, we suddenly felt like stepping into a hidden paradise.

Honestly this is the best lodge we stayed in.
We didn’t expect much at first but you get a whole house for yourself.
The food is SO good honestly we couldn’t get enough.

The lodge was beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the best part was the staff. Starting with the Manager on Duty (Raywill) the staff were attentive with the service was impeccable.

First thing first, the pool is amazing 👏 🤩 😍 it's soon nice there. The room was good but no tv, come on, service is fantastic 👏 👌 5hey are soo kind, the cheak up on u every time, like wow.

Amazing place! We had the campsite all to ourselves. Beautiful view from campsite one — sunrise was stunning! Loved how the toilet and shower were built into the rock. Such a cool place.

What an incredible stay. All our needs were met and much more than what I expected. The food was by far the best in the area. The rooms are kept cool with the thick stone walls.

This place is remote, located as it is in the desert. I stayed in the campsite. A great photo is available on Wikipedia. Has a fuel station and shop. This place should not be missed.

Rooms are clean and comfortable. We had an issue on check in where the shower drain was clogged but maintenance tried to fix it and moved us to a new room when they couldn’t solve it in time.

I’ve been to the lodge, camp and campsite multiple times and every time again it’s amazing! Food made with passion, staff with smiles, endless views and comfy beds.

Beyond excellent. This is by far the best lodge we stayed in in Namibia. "Queen Sophie" absolutely ruined us with her cooking, outstanding puddings and possibly the best toasted sarmie I have had!

Staff were lovely and happy to help. We had dust and sand on our bed when we arrived but staff were quick to change. Always friendly. The food was delicious (must try lamb curry and lamb burger!

The Solitaire Mountain Lodge is a lovely place to stay.

Fantastic location. Buffet breakfast and evening meal were ok. Nothing special. Good service by the staff in the restaurant.

The tents sit on a hillside overlooking a large plain. The view is simply spectacular. The tents are well-appointed and comfortable.

Wonderfull lodge in the Namib desert close to Sossusvlei — shoutout to the excellent and extremely attentive staff (as well as the owner’s two sons who ensured we had everything we need at all times).

After a long, tiring hike in Daan Viljoen Nature Reserve, it was a delight to only take a short drive to reach this charming retreat.

Out of the way location, which was tranquil and set amongst farmland.

Absolutely stunning, if you like the nature filled surroundings and history in every corner. Do make your way.

The property is set on a hillside with beautiful mountain views, featuring several areas to relax and enjoy the views.

We stayed here for the night to take an early morning flight as it’s a 30 min drive. Chanced upon this location and was extremely glad we found it. Thorsten manages the place well.

Organised, bathrooms are very clean and.
Water is hot.
Each place had a lamp, electricity, water.
And barbecue spot.

A cosy and sandy campsite. Beautiful view of sunset. Bathrooms are common and need to be shared. Bathroom showers should be more "heavier'.
