Good stop before Botswana, calm place and good view on Zambezi river :)

Great value for money. First off I was grateful for the signage on the road. It was easy to get there. Staff were friendly, and their food was on point. I especially enjoyed the location. This place is on the Zambezi river separating it from Zambia. This is a place I will come back to.

A great place to stay in Katima Mulilo although arefurbishment is somewhat overdue. Friendly staff and great location.

We were so happy with our choice. Lovely spacious, clean en-suite room, overlooking the river. With a well equipped kitchenette and delicious breakfast included in the price, and very friendly staff. Beautiful garden to relax in. Great value for money!

This was a great experience and a welcoming surprise. The rooms are next to the river with a great view along the river bed. This place will be my first choice if I'm in this region. We received a well prepared breakfast before we left for Zambië.

Rooms are clean and comfy. We booked river view rooms, but received rooms far from the river. Breakfast is good. Lodge is nice, not fancy but great for overnight in aircon rooms. Staff is helpful and friendly.

Beautiful location and grounds. Accommodation is quite new or very well maintained. Dinner last night was very good. During my stay, the kitchen was a one man show… Alfus did a wonderful job being most hospitable, and the food was great. Included breakfast was cooked to order eggs, bacon, sausage, and tomato; with addtl buffet with yogurt, dry cereal, fruit, toast, muffin, juice AND filtered coffee!. Presentation was lovely and seating area and patio were relaxing. The room was very comfortable… comfortable bed and full kitchen — refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave.

The best part of the lodge was the personal. The sevice was very good, everyone was very friendly like we experienced it in Namibia in every acommodation. Afius is a great cook and Vanessa did everything to make us feel comfortable. Thank you to all the staff for their warm heartedness.
The acommodation was not that satisfying. Unfortunately we had to switch our lodge because the first one had an awful smell in it (like disinfectant or mosquito spray). Also the cleanliness of the bath mat was not acceptable for me, it had stains on it. The condition of the second lodge was acceptable. It was clean and had a nice view at the river. Demerits where the plastic balcon furniture, missing modquito nets at the windows and the somewhat outdated interior design of the lodge.
The second big disappointment was the condition of the premises. We stayed in a garden paradise before, hence we were even more disappointed. The grassland was dried out in many parts and there were things standing around in every other corner, e. G. Construction material. The property looked a bit neglected overall. The restaurant in the middle of the property on the other hand was a nice and cozy place.
The breakfast was basic like we experienced in during most stays in Namibia. The dinner was good although a bigger variety of options to choose from would have been nice.

An excellent sanctuary for anyone looking get away from the buzz of urban life. Conveniently located just outside the main town and next to the mighty Zambezi River, all the luxuries are available in a serene environment. Very friendly and responsive service. Make sure to visit the kitchen before you leave!

Friendly staff that do whatever they can for their customers. Namibian are generally friendly, but these guys go the extra mile. Right on the Zambezi it is worth every cent. Only a small pool though, and no bar, so bring your own.
Unfortunately, Katima does not seem to have camping facilities.

We stayed the past weekend for 2 nights. And what a pleasure it was. From the warm Afrikaans welcome to the beautiful room and view ending in delicious food. The breakfasts was deliciouse with a suprice pancake and muffin on Sunday. The evening meals where out of this world so much so that my husband ate exactly the same both evenings. We really want to encourage ALL people to have a stay at Juda house lodge it is inexpensive, clean and awesome friendly staff.
We will defenitly not stay anywhere else if we come for business or a weekend away!

The staff were friendly and helpful as always. This was our second time staying over. The rooms were clean in impeccable condition. The aircon was good but not cold. Great improvement on the shower drainage as there was a stoppage during our first stay. Location was good and highly secure. The staff were very helpful, friendly and honest during both times (1st&2nd) we stayed over. Good location on the riverside. Will definitely go back to this lodge.

Limited TV channels.
Improve on cleanliness of cutleries and glasses (they were clean but fingerprints and dried water marks were visible on most items on most tables)
No point of payment for swiping, as not all clients carry huge cash amounts depending on their time of staying. The access road to the lodge could provide obstacle in reaching destination especially during rainy and flood periods. No internet facility and poor internet connection, were amongst issues observed that require management intervention.
