Great and friendly guest house.

A very basic place providing just enough facility for a night rest. Rooms are very small and plain, it even feels like a basic hospital room or a very well kept jail cell. But the location is good and sheets and bathrooms are clean. Suitable if you're in a budget work trip.

Nice friendly hotel rooms a bit small, better to take an aircon room to hot at night. Breakfast ok hotel very close to restaurants on the seafront. Myammar beer excellent cheers.

A nice place to stay while in Kawthaung and to have healthy breakfast.

Renovated or new clean small rooms. 5 min walk from jetty and immigration. But really not cheap, 30, 000 Kyats for double bed room with fan or 35, 000 with air con. Including very basic breakfast, 3 in 1 coffee, one egg, two toast, jam and butter.

Good hotel with fair price. No hot water for shower.

Very close to the port, the owner is very helpful and kind. Small but functional rooms.

Reasonable to stay. 3mins walk to the pier, The room and bathroom were clean, Wi-Fi access is good, basic breakfast, the staffs were very friendly and helpful.

20000 kyat for single room with airconditioninv and free breakfast… up in the hills and a bit far from town.

Clean and new rooms, basic setup with shower, aircon and tv, good location near the city center and not noisy. Offers cheap laundry and motorbike rental. Rate is about 30 usd per night including breakfast (egg toast and coffee).

A bit expensive but maybe the best place in Kawthoung. You can rent motorbike.

Nice place… within downtown, near bazaar, pagoda, and wharf. staffs are friendly and the hotel is clean.

The staff here is sooooo nice and helpful. The rooms are clean and loaded. Worth the 4 hundred Baht Highly recommend, very close to the pier and to town, do eat the noodle soup just outside 20baht and so good Special shout to Peter thanks for the info and help.

4 stars by local standards (lower than Thailand). Clean, well located, easy to access the market and pagoda, in a tranquil neighbourhood, OK Wi-Fi, good breakfast if you like eggs, toasts and coffee. Best thing in this place is the roof terrace. Again, lower your expectations. At the moment it's only a space used by the staff to dry clothes and doing extra works, but hopefully they will turn this into a nicer space for guests. The view is really good, and you can use it (or at least we got away with it). We've been doing yoga and watching the sunset from there. This place was heaven after spending two nights at Kawthaung Hotel. Don't order food from their take away service. It's terrible.

Clean and comfortable, not too far to walk to the market and up the temple, not to near the busy market from noisy envi. the main gate is locked during the night, if you want to wake up and go out early in the morning, you need to tell someone at the reception the night before.
