This place is the cheapest in town and for a reason. Go to Penguin hotel. Location and business information in Google Maps is incorrect. This place is the same as the one as KawThoung Motel. It was quite an experience, in general quite dirty, some staff members were really sweet but the others were angry, in general all quite incompetent, large bed but terrible cheese-grater mattress, everything is old and tired and the management doesn't seem to care or look after the place at all. Expect loud music every night. Like karaoke performed in a stage by a group of young ladies and the occasional drunk guy from the public. No many people watching so it's quite bizarre but also kind of cute. If you do want to stay there and experience what it feels like to be back in some sort of 90s universe in Myanmar, stay in the rooms that are not facing the main road as they will be quieter and actually have a nice view.
Though we had reservation they didn't expected us to come, the room was more than shabby, several things broken, dirty…

Very dirty rooms (have tried several rooms) Lights broken, toilet fan not working, hot water electric boiler out of order. Breakfast very poor. No service whatsoever. Room still over 30 dollars.
