Riad Vendôme & Spa

The rooms are not terrible, but the spa space is not nice. The hot tub was dirty and just barely warm. Not hot! They still charged me for it. Very disappointing!

Very nice people working in tis Riad. Mohamed and the girls very good atenttion with us. Close to the center to go shopping. Nice and safe Riad. We had a Great stay and we love Everything. Beds confortable and nice rooms. We Will come back!

Place where you feel good and want to come back.
Very cute riad, nicely decorated, with good location and friendly staff! Rooms were clean, not very spacious, but big enough. The reception area is beautiful and the rooftop is great, offering enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the sun. I will recommend this place to my friends and really hope we will visit again some day.

Wonderful staff, perfect location, quiet, peaceful and understated. Decorated nicely, felt like a genuine old Maroccan home. Our room was cleaned daily and the temperature was great. Rooftop a sunny oasis with wonderful views and places to relax. Friendly cats and homely atmosphere. Concierge always available day and night to help with any of our needs. Will definitely come back.

We had a great stay at this Riad! The staff were incredibly welcoming, offering hot tea on arrival. Their personal touches made our stay special.
The location was perfect — tucked away and a little hard to find but just a short walk to the Medina. The rooftop was a highlight, perfect for unwinding and watching the sunset.
Our room was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated, making for an overall great experience!

Would not recommend going here. We intended to stay for three nights last September, however, we ended up staying none as the room was double booked. Two days later, they took money from our debit card for the nights, and an extra 20 Euros on top.
When we arrived at this Riad late in the evening, we were greeted by a man that soon made us feel very uncomfortable. We requested to see the room that we booked but he would at first not allow this without us paying first. This seemed odd and we told him we would not do this before we would know everything is right. It was not.
Once we entered we quickly realized that this was not the room that we had booked. We pointed this out to him, as we thought there must have been some confusion, but he told us the suite that we booked was not available, and we were downgraded to a smaller room (for the same price). We were offered a similar room, but he asked for extra money for doing so. We declined and left.
Later, the hotel charged us the money for the three nights, with an extra 20 Euros added on. Do not stay here, do not give them your card details. They are scammers.
It is also worth mentioning that the place does not look like the pictures online. It is dark and dingy and does not feel clean. Also, it is down a darker and dingier alley and quite hard to find without local knowledge.

This is not a nice place to stay. Unpleasant staff — especially the nighttime guy — and a dark and depressing interior that is NOT how it looks in the online photos. It's also down a very dark alley and the room curtains do not keep out the light, nor do they cover the windows completely. We decided to leave because they had double booked our room and tried to give us a smaller pokey room instead, for the same money. They wanted payment in cash and were quite verbally aggressive about it. We refused to pay, as they couldn't/wouldn't give us the room we booked. They later took money from our credit card instead, for a room someone else was staying in. So they got paid twice. Scammers. Avoid. Really, avoid.

We booked this Riad for our first few nights in Morocco. What a disappointment it was. We had reserved a junior suite, but upon arrival we were given a smaller room and expected to pay the same price. When we questioned this, the night manager's first words were 'so you make trouble right from the beginning, you need to pay me now'. We offered to pay for the first night and reconsider our position, but the only options we were given were to stay in the small room, for the price we paid for the suite, or to pay twenty Euros per night more for a different room. The night manager could have accepted our money for one night, but was in fact so rude and unwelcoming that we went in search of (and found) alternative accommodation instead, despite the late hour.
In addition to this debacle, the Riad proved to be nothing like the pictures online (we booked with Expedia). It is old and tatty, pokey, dark, and generally not nearly as pleasant as is suggested by the website. It is also quite hard to find, being down a dark alley, around a corner and badly signed.
I can't recommend this establishment on any level, based on the fact they double booked my room, because 'they had a better booking'. Also the night manager was very unpleasant. Also, he expected me to call his boss myself to sort the problem out, after offering us a downgrade or paying more money for another room.

We booked a suite at this riad, for our first nights in Morocco. When we arrived, we were instead shown to a small room on the roof. When I went downstairs to ask why we did not have the room we booked, I was told I was 'making trouble from the start' and informed us that the room had been given to someone who 'had a larger booking'. The night manager was rude and unwelcoming and insisted we paid the same amount for the small room, or paid more for a different room. We declined, and left to find another hotel. They then charged my card (without permission) for the room, which they had given to someone else. In addition, the place is NOT like the pictures online; it is older and more run down, and the curtains in the bedrooms do not cover the windows well so you can easily see into other people's rooms. We did not stay a night in this riad, but from what we saw of the public areas and the room, from the attitude of the staff we met, and from the fact they stole money from my card for three nights that we did not stay, I highly recommend you do not visit here.

I don't recommend it at all. They're definitely scammers. I made a reservation through Booking. The room given was nothing to do with the photos shown. The room was on the ground floor and did not look reliable. It was also not hygienic. When I said I wanted to stay in another room, they asked for an extra 16 euro. When I said that I would not stay in the hotel and my fee should be given, they did not give me my money. I left the hotel without staying. The person at the reception had a strange attitude and I don't think he was mentally healthy. Definitely do not stay in this hotel!

The staff were friendly. We only stayed one night and stayed at Agafay desert the night after. When we checked out our Agafay desert hotel, we were dropped off to Marrakech city centre and we didn’t need to go to the airport for another three hours. I called and asked if they could allow us to leave the luggage there for a few hours and they gladly agreed. The wine at this riad is also nice! The location of the riad is a bit tricky to find but overall a very convenient location, we are happy with our stay!

The riad is aesthetically very beautiful and stylish. Unfortunately we were given the room on the ground floor and it had a transparent door with curtains in front meaning that we could see every time a light was turned on in the hall and every sound. We didn't have a good sleep. But if you make sure you have another room it is a really beautiful place.

Your Riad and a haven of peace and tranquillity, your suites are beautiful and relatively Very Propretrès well located in a neighborhood where one feels safe even very Late at night. The team and an extraordinary kindness. Our output Quad in the desert of Agafay was really great. Not to mention all the rest.

Super week-end. The staff is very attentive and very helpful. I recommend this one. In order not too much because I'll have more room for me.

Very nice Riad, quiet and peaceful, with a staff at the top. Ideally located in the heart of the Medina. I recommend it!
