Within a few steps of Chergui is the busy and bustling streets of Marrakesh. Step through the front door into an oasis of calm and tranquility.
Emmaualle and her team are friendly and accommodating.
The Riad itself is beautiful, it is well maintained and we had a follow up message after booking to confirm we realised we booked a room with a low bathroom height. Which I thought was a nice touch. And was even offered transfers from the airport which we were grateful for as a staff member meets you and walks you straight to the Riad!
After reading a review about the lack of English that is spoken — do not worry, Emmaualle and another staff member speak perfect English and you get by with the other staff with basic communication skills. The staff are super helpful and friendly and will come out from their well deserved break to help immediately.
The breakfast is plentiful and delicious!
I would stay here again and recommend anyone to stay here.

Beautiful place to stay in the heart of the city. Our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming, the breakfast was delicious every day, the rooms were very clean and had everything you could need. Such a relaxing place to be listen to the birds sing, sit by the pool with a drink or relax up on the rooftop. We had the best time celebrating my friends upcoming wedding. Eating out at gorgeous restaurants and visiting the souks. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in Marrakech.

Great riad. Had two night stay and we highly recommend Riad Chergui. Staffs are polite and helpful. It was Saturday afternoon when we checked and it is obviously busy in Marrakech but staffs have been smiling. As typical of riads,
You will get lost if you haven’t been to their riads. One of their staffs collected us from our drop off point from our Morocco tour. The receptionist (sorry I am forgetful of names) has been welcoming and smiling and did the protocol with receiving guest even if he was very busy (he checked our passports, gave us the welcome book with the menu, Wi-Fi passwords, tips as a tourist in Marrakech etc) and guided us to our room. We had the best tasting tagine (and it is a lamb, some lambs gives an aftertaste or aroma but this doesn’t) if we can ask for the recipe but obviously it is a secret. We also tried seafood pastilla which is great tasting as well and nostalgic as it has chinese influencs on it. Those foods are highly recommended if you stay there. Their breakfast is great as well, take them all in as it helped us traversing the labyrinth of Marrakech’s inner city. Obviously their Riad that I saw on the pictures made me decide to choose them (as also recommended by our tour group Suntrails Morocco), Marrakech inner city is a busy place, but you can’t hear it inside, it is like a different place, an escape from definitely all the tourist activities outside.

Where do I start? With the excellent service? With the amazing accommodations? With the wonderful relaxing courtyard? With the scrumptious and well presented breakfasts? With the quaint and authentic rooms? Nope, let me start with our host Emmanuelle! From the moment we met her when she greeted us at the entrance to the Medina we knew we were in great hands. Funny, accommodating, engaging and helpful … you won't find a better host! Next the two Yasemin's … these two young gentlemen were so friendly and always smiling … whether serving you breakfast or dinner or bringing you drinks at the pool just two wonderful human beings. So if you want to stay at a world class Riad, with excellent service in the heart of the Medina … easy walking distances to the Secret Garden and the crazy Souk … then this is the place. Look no further!

Although I didn't end up actually staying here, I can say that Emmanuelle & Radouane replied promptly and helpfully to all email communication. Unfortunately, I was too late to reserve suitable accomodations for my large party during the week of Eid, but thanks to Emmanuelle I found out soon enough to make other plans. Insha'allah I will get to visit their lovely property some time in the future.

Both calm with a quick access to all the “must be seen” in Marrakech.
Luxuous environment and very kind still professional staff.
I loved the peacefull atmosphere around the pool and its warmth at dinner time.
I highly recommend this Riad and will definitely come back!

Only managed 1 night stay therefore experience limited however first impressions good. Beautiful Riad — breakfast lovely — roof terrace lovely. Would have no hesitation in using this Riad on a future visit. Pool looked very inviting on a hot day!

French owned Riad in the centre of Marrakesh. Nice enough room but freezing. There was a fan heater which we used and this together with the AC unit managed to get the room up to temperature. It would have been nice if the room was already warmed for us. The restaurant had closed because we hadn’t thought to book dinner so we were directed to a local rooftop restaurant where we sat in the cold and ate tepid food.

Loved my stay here in August. Houssen was the BEST. He was always there to help us with a smile. The pool was amazing. We skipped going to see some of the tourist attractions just to stay at the pool. The riad felt like an oasis in a desert.

We stayed for 4 nights in this beautiful place and we still miss it 🥹 the staff were amazing, thank you all for giving us a personal and warm experience here ☺️ We are not morning people and always miss breakfast but we never missed a day here 😂 it was so lovely and chilled by the pool. The Riad is in the perfect location to walk into Marrakech, we loved seeing the mix of the local side and the tourist side. And the Riad is really safe! Already want to come back. Thank you so much ❤️❤️

Charming Riad very close to all the most interesting tourist sights. Owners and staff were very welcoming and excellent at communicating and responding to our requests. They set-up airport transportation for us (at an extra cost) and even accommodated two gluten-free travelers in our group. The whole Riad was lovely, and we especially enjoyed the pool, delicious breakfast, and bar, given that most restaurants do not serve alcohol.

Oasis, within the Medina. Flight delayed but staff had late night aka 2am dinner waiting for us. Peaceful roof top terrace. Breakfast delicious. Enjoy.

A great location, extremely helpful staff. The Riad had beautiful traditional furniture and decorative finishes throughout. The pool and pool beds were an added benefit. Lovely food by the pool. Would definitely stay here when I am next in Marrakesh.

The Riad Chergui is beautifully laid out and feels like a small oasis in the chaos and hubbub that is the medina in Marrakesh. The central courtyard and breakfast areas are cool and comfortable, the (icy cold! ) pool area is lovely and the rooms are small for two but all you really need.
The breakfast is spectacularly good and the service from Abdul is second to none. He is super friendly, polite, well mannered, urbane and educated, speaking English, French, Arabic and 3 local dialects of his home country, Senegal. The rest of the staff are super helpful and friendly. My son got very sick on our trip and Adbul and his team rallied round to help him recover quickly. They are a great team.
The Riad is easy to get to from the airport by taxi and a short walk away from the souk and main square in Marrakesh.

The Riad Chergui is truly a gem. It is elegant, comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and accommodating. It is located near restaurants and the inner alleys of the old medina. There is a fantastic roof top lounge area where you can gather for a beverage in the evening. Abdul served us breakfast in the morning and could not have been more kind and attentive. This is one place you can find peace in a city that can be overwhelming at times.

This Riad was far superior to the first one we stayed at in Marrakech. From the attentive staff to a beautiful room on the upper floor overlooking one of the courtyards, we could not have been happier. The air conditioning was quiet, the bed large and comfortable and the linens crisp and luxurious. The breakfast is generous and freshly baked. We would definitely return.

Awesome Riad combining old with new, our room was small with no external windows in the new part of the Riad, it was really tastefully decorated throughout though. Abdul was our waiter/breakfast maker so we spent a lot of time with him for our evening meals and breakfasts, (unfortunately we only stayed 3 nights here). He made our stay memorable and his service was impeccable. The hotel felt like home! The owner was pleasant and could communicate well in English, he even gave me a decent exchange rate!
