Amazing stay at Riad Azrur! The riad is beautiful, very clean, and well-kept. Service was excellent—Ibrahim was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our visit. The place came highly recommended, and it definitely lived up to it. I would gladly stay here again!

We had a very nice stay in Riad Azure. The riad is very well maintained and in a quiet street, 20 minutes to walk to the main square. Ibrahim, the manager, was very helpful and supportive, thanks him we have seen things we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Thank you very much Ibrahim!

This riad is a hidden gem in the Medina. It is very clean inside and the staff cleaned our rooms every single day. Same breakfast everyday, items included Moroccan pancakes, bread, eggs, fruits and coffee/tea. The major tourist attractions are walkable from this riad. Ibrahim, the manager has some amazing local food recommendations (the city is vegetarian/vegan friendly as well). They also have spa and a hammam in their riad.

We wanted to get a more local feel to our four night trip to Marrakesh, so opted to stay within the Medina in a riad rather than a hotel. We are pleased that we chose the Riad Azrur for our stay. Ibrahim, who manages the riad on a day to day basis was a great host and a source of information. We were contacted before leaving home, to see if there was any requests. I got him to arrange transport from the airport, which although more expensive than getting a taxi ourselves, added peace of mind as the riad isn't accessible to cars. Ibrahim helped us download and install the Maps. Me app which has offline maps of Marrakesh (so I didn't need to have purchased the extra data that I did for my phone to use in Morocco! )
We were in the room Bab Aylan. The room is en-suite and the bedroom is air conditioned. There is a safe in the room for your personal belongings. There's no TV in the bedroom, but there is one available in the common area off the courtyard. The bedroom window faced the wall on the other side of the alley, but let in enough light and didn't feel obtrusive. The one downside was that the shower would run hot and cold, but wasn't a problem once you got used to it.
The private roof terrace has 4 sunbeds and two seating areas and an outdoor shower. Also on this floor is a massage room and indoor toilet and shower.
Breakfast consisted of pancakes, bread, tea, fresh orange juice and a cooked omelette (if wanted).

Felt like our home away from home! Riad Azrur was like a serene oasis for us. The best part of Riad Azrur had to be our host Ibrahim. He was in communication with us before we arrived to help us arrange a driver to pick us up at the hotel. He met us at the car to help us with our luggage and served us amazing mint tea with pastries upon our arrival. Right away he downloaded a local map onto our phones and bookmarked all the best sites to see and places to eat. The next morning he had gotten us eSIM cards and helped us set it up. The breakfast every morning was amazing! I looked forward each morning to their msemem, a Moroccan flaky bread. We stayed in the larger room, Bab el Khimis which was spacious with a small living room area with Moroccan style seating. On our last day I took advantage of their hammam and my husband got a massage. Ibrahim arranged it for us. The hammam spa experience was amazing and what a great way to end our trip. For anyone visiting Marrakech, I would highly recommend staying at Riad Azrur.

We really enjoyed our stay at the riad. Easily the best we have stayed in in Morocco. The location and the room were great, however, most importantly, Ibrahim was truly lovely and helpful. If you are trying multiple places, I’d recommend starting here since he gave us a lot of tips and pointed us to useful places which helped us during the rest of our stay.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Riad Azrur. The Riad is located in a small alley (not uncommon) in the Medina area of Marrakech, within walking distance of all of the major highlights in that part of town. There are also ample taxis and a lot of local shops nearby. The rooms are spotless. The true gem, however, is the manager, Ibrahim. He will make you feel like family from the moment you arrive. He went above and beyond to make us breakfast on days we needed to be out early, programmed our phones so we had all the local maps and included highlights to see, and helped us navigate the city. Also, Ibrahim makes the best tea! Highly recommend this property.

We had a lovely stay at Riad Azrur — the highlight is, as many others state, the lovely Ibrahim! He made us feel very welcome from the moment we were dropped off from the airport (transfer arranged by him). Recommendations for sites and restaurants, organising day trips, making us tea with vegan biscuits he found specially for us — he truly is a wonderful host.
Accommodation for vegan diets were made in the breakfast, with traditional Moroccan pancakes and breads made for us without using butter or eggs. The breakfast was filling and set us up well for the day — my only suggestion would be some additional dried fruit/nuts could be nice to accompany the food.
Location wise, it's convenient for walking into the souks and medina, though ends up being around half an hour walk from the sites in the south of the medina (Bahia palace for example). The door to the Riad is on a small alleyway — we felt safe accessing the property but a lone woman travelling may want somewhere located in busier/more visible area.
The rooms were clean and we had a comfy bed with a lovely ornamental headboard. The roof terrace is nice with areas to sunbathe or sit, and the courtyard/living room are very inviting and tastefully decorated. The two little adorable birds that clean up the breakfast crumbs were adorable too!
Noise wise, there was some local noise at night but the location is far quieter than closer into the Medina. There is some noise from.

We enjoyed our stay at the Riad Azur. The entrance is in a dim alley, a couple of minutes from the street, but once inside it's lovely — a relaxing oasis. The host Ibrahim was very friendly and helpful — always offering information and tips about traveling in the area. Our room was clean, towels were fresh and the breakfast was very nice. Thank-you!

We have just returned from our trip to Marrakesh where we stayed for 4 days at "Riad Azrur"
A beautiful place hidden in the beautiful souks of the Medina. A little paradise in the chaotic Marrakech.
Just 15 minutes from the city center with impeccable aesthetics and amazing service. Ibrahim is always there for whatever you need. Was very helpful and felt like home. A great professional and a very good person. I highly recommend it… the best riad choice in the whole city.
One reason I would like to go back to Marrakesh. Ibrahim, a big THANK YOU, and again it's not enough.

We have had a fantastic experience at Riad Azrur and would totally recommend it. We stayed in the family room for four people. The room was large and lovely decorated, with very comfortable beds, a spacious and welcoming sitting area, walk in closet, safe, a cozy bedroom for the kids and TV with Netflix as added bonus. The hospitality, professionalism and kindness of Ibrahim is outstanding. He arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the train station and met us personally at the closest walking entrance to the Medina to guide us to the Riad, always providing really good recommendations when we asked on local destinations, helped us with boarding passes and provided helpful tips even when one of us was not feeling well health-wise (thank you, Ibrahim! ). The patio is lovely and the terrace is very nice too. Thanks so much Ibrahim and hopefully see you soon!

If there was a sixth star, I would give 6. This small riad is an unexpected oasis of intimacy and peace in the chaotic marrakech. Ibrahim was very patient and kind with us, explaining how to behave in the city and suggesting the best locations, cafes and restaurants. The cook prepared every morning a hearty Moroccan classic breakfast and a traditional dinner. The internal patio is cozy and scented with local essences, it is provided of an inner common room, gorgeously decorated. Our room was perfect: a king size bed, daily cleaned and silent.

Riad Azrur was an awesome experience. It is a really nice Riad (home with a garden) located conveniently to all the interesting places in Marrakech. The current managers name is Ibrahim. Ibrahim is a wonderful and professional host. He took his time to explain all important places around the area. We were 2 women traveling and he felt like a big brother. He made himself available at all times for us so we felt safe traveling because he was a phone call away. He was the tour guide we didn't know we desperately needed. The Riad is clean and comfortable. The ladies cleaned throughly. I loved my experience there! I would stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech. Once you get used to the little streets of Marrakech and navigating the lanes you realize Riad Azrur is like a home away from home.

Beautiful Riad about 10 minutes walk from the main square in Marrakech. Riad has been recently refurbished and is absolutely beautiful — the room was fantastic, looking out onto the central courtyard with the water fountain. The roof terrace was also lovely.
Ibrahim, the host, was very welcoming — helped me get set up with some offline maps on my phone to help explore Marrakech and gave me some great recommendations for cultural places to visit along with restaurants to go to.
Breakfast each day was fantastic too.
Would highly recommend and would happily stay again — fantastic experience, thank you Ibrahim.

Riad Azrur is a really nice place located very conveniently to all the interesting places in Marrakech. Ibrahim — the manager is a wonderful and professional host. He took his time to explain all important places around the area. He would bring you a mint tea any time. Place itself is clean and comfortable. I liked my experience there. I would stay again and would recommend to anyone visiting Marrakech.

The riad was so beautiful, cozy and welcoming.
My partner and I spent a few days in Marrakech in Riad Azrur and were welcomed by Ibrahim, who was such a gentleman, very courteous, helped us with finding things in the city and moving around. In addition to this he offered free delicious tea when we went up to the rooftop (100% recommended to stargaze).
We left all our stuff int he riad at all times and never had an issue.
This is such a lovely place! And thanks a lot to Ibrahim for being such a nice host!
