Everything was perfect, from the rooms (always very clean) to the breakfast, which was delicious (the view from the roof was fantastic). We will absolutely stay at this beautiful place again, if we come back to Marrakech. A special thanks to Khalid and Ibrahim, who made everything even more enjoyable with their unending kindness.

Stayed for 4 nights at this beautiful riad tucked away in a side alley. Amazing staff who were always helpful and kind. Hotel arranged for taxi transfer which parked about 5 mins away. Ibrahim met us to walk to the riad & gave us a warm welcome with mint tea and homemade cookies. After exploring the souks which are about 5-10 mins away, we had a lovely dinner on the peaceful rooftop. Ibrahim helped us to book excursions and taxis and was always available to answer our questions. He went above and beyond to ensure we were well taken care of even when he was off duty.
The riad is beautifully furnished with 8 guest rooms and a small pool, jacuzzi and spa facilities. The breakfast varied slightly each day; it was generous and wholesome. The cooking class & local food shopping was interesting and fun. The night porter, Khalid, was so sweet. When I asked for a cup of hot water for my sore throat, he put together a tray with fresh lime, sliced ginger, ground ginger and honey.
Highly recommend this riad for its attentive and caring staff who make you feel like family.

Had a lovely stay here with my wife.
Inside was very beautiful and traditional.
The morrocan breakfast each morning was masterfullyand beautifully prepared.
Price a little more than usual riad but I would say it is worth it.
We very much enjoyed our stay.

We arrived early in the daytime and chrcked in around 10am with a welcome drink, biscuits and hot towel. The riad is small with 8 rooms so its a very personal experience.
The pools are immaculately kept.
Our room was clean and very cosy with all the amenities.
Breakfast was the highlight with a wonderful selection of options ehich changed slightly each day allowing you to really experience all moroccan breakfast options.
The only downside we saw was the breakfast couldnt be served in the rooftop even though it was specified otherwise.
One thing I would note is that for first timers in Marrakesh it may seem like the walk to/from the riad is sketchy — it couldnt be further from that! Dont let anyone try take you to tanneries though its a common blunder in the area! Do your research — or ask the staff.
Shoutout to Reda you were incredibly welcoming, along with the whole team who greeted us with smiles and were incredibly accommodating, helpful and able to answer any of our many questions (even with a mild language barrier)

One of the best Riads I stayed in during my time in Marrakech. Especially Yusuf and Reda did a Great job and helped me out with o lot of things. Will definitely book again, when I am back to Marrakech!

We are a group of five friends on our first visit to Marrakesh. Liaising with the Riad ahead of time they arranged transport to collect us and bring us near to the Riad. They then met the vehicle and escorted us the rest of the way. It’s hidden away but once inside was a tranquil beautiful Riad. Youssef the manager met us and gave us a lovely welcome. He spoke excellent English and was charming and funny. After an initial change of one room due to a plumbing issue we settled in. We had three rooms between the 5 of us all very clean and spacious. All the staff were lovely and very helpful. Youssef was on hand either in the Riad or via What’s App to answer questions and help arrange things. The Riad is very close to the Ben Youssef Madrasa at the edge of the Medina. You walk a lot in Marrakesh but we were in a great location to explore everything. A lovely stay, try it.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in Marrakesh! The ambiance was inviting and homey, the food delicious, and everything was impeccably clean. The location is perfect for exploring the city, and the staff were amazing, especially Kahleid, providing top-notch hospitality. I truly have nothing to complain about—highly recommend!

They are in very unsafe area. I booked my room, but once I got there I realized they are in very dangerous zone of Marrakesh even during the daytime. I had to change hotel, and they didn't even want to refund me. AVOID THIS HOTEL! You will find many others hotels in safe areas there.

Was hesitant to stay at a Riad and am so grateful to have tried it! What a magical little oasis in the Medina! This is the place I would recommend to friends and family. This gives an ultra authentic experience while still being very luxurious.
Amazing breakfast, very cute but modern rooms, two pools and a rooftop deck. The concept is fantastic as it feels like you’re staying at your royal cousins mansion.
The two girls that attended the front desk and every need guests have were simply wonderful malak and chourouk.

Charming Riad in the heart of the medina. From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The room was spacious, and it was the first riad on our trip where the AC actually worked. The property has two pool, one downstairs and another upstairs, both perfect for escaping the noise of the city. We also tried their Hammam, which was excellent. I would definitely recommend this riad if you’re looking for a place that’s close to everything within walking distance and perfect for relaxing.

Very beautiful riad in the middle of the old town and souks of Marrakech. Perfectly designed details and architecture combined with a touch of luxury. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Definitely a special recommendation if you want to spend a few nice days in Marrakech.

We had a lovely stay here. Each member of staff is so helpful and attentive. The room and bathroom are very clean. They have a terrace on top which is perfect to take some sun and read a book under the sun. The breakfast looking out to the pool was an amazing way to start the morning. The location is fantastic. 15 minute walk from the main square. The area is very safe…we walked back each night. Could not recommend this place more.

We came here for one night after staying at the Savoy Hotel. We ranted to have the riad experience and I would say that I wouldn’t do it again, not here anyway.
The location is in a very run down area of the Medina. It’s very difficult to find and nobody offered to meet us and escort us to the Riad. So you will need GPS.
We had one room on the ground floor which smelt of drainage. I’m glad I was only here for a night as I wouldn’t have been able to tolerate the smell for any longer. It’s also a bit noisy if you’re on the ground floor.
The second triple room was on the first floor which was better. The door to the bathroom has holes in it. So it’s ok for couples but not say if you’re with friends or siblings.
The plunge pool is very cold but looks pretty. None of the spa facilities are included. You even have to pay extra to use the sauna. For this reason you’re not getting good value for money. Just a room really and nothing extra.
The roof top is beautiful and the breakfast was ok.
They don’t have printers here so if you need to get your boarding pass printed you have to sort yourself out.
The other reviews state that the staff can’t do enough for you but for us we didn’t find this. Our experience wasn’t a great one at all. I wouldn’t return here.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Riad Sofyan and what I appreciated most was the care I received from the staff members. They went above and beyond to provide whatever we needed (extra blankets, toothpaste etc), and as we were 2 girls travelling alone, they walked with us wherever we needed to take a taxi or go to a late night supermarket.
On top of that, the riad is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, there are not many rooms, so it never feels crowded. We used the only 2 lounge chairs by the pool every evening. The rooftop is gorgeous and beautifully decorated too.
The breakfast is generous, but do expect a typical local breakfast and not an international one. Eggs were served, so I was happy.
The spa service were great too, I had the traditional hammam experience which was totally worth the price.
The biggest recommendation I would make if you stay at this riad is to get in touch with the staff in advance to pick you up from where the taxi drops you. The taxi can't drive you to the hotel, so you need to walk on small cobble labyrinth-ey streets that can seem quite dodgy. We used Whatsaap at all times to communicate with staff members.
