Riad 72

Truly an excellent riad located within the Medina. Close walking distance to the souks and the main square. Within 3min walking there is an ATM and local market with fruits and essentials.
The riad and room were very clean. Minimalistic but feels luxurious. The bed was extremely comfortable with firm bed which I really liked. Nice sized room, we had deluxe room in room 10. The only criticism was the bathroom, not much counter space, the sink area looked very nice but not as functional. The courtyard was beautiful, where breakfast and dinner were served. We didn’t have dinner there but had the included breakfast which was excellent.
The staff were very attentive, welcoming and helpful. They also spoke excellent English. There were 2 rooftop areas and both were nice. There was a small rooftop pool which is quite small. All in all very nice riad, highly recommend if visiting Marrakech.

We stayed here 3 nights just after Christmas, and had 3 rooms for our family of 5. The bedrooms are all very tastefully and comfortably designed and appointed. Not huge, but that is normal for a Riad. Our room had a rooftop terrace which would have been lovely in warmer weather. The breakfasts were amazing, the freshest orange juice ever, and delightful choice of hot dishes. We had dinner once in the evening and the food was OK but not outstanding. There is an excellent spa, and my partner had two amazing massages there with Mr Azzedine. The staff were all fantastic and so very helpful — nothing was too much trouble. They are a major factor in making the Riad fantastic. Location is great, just outside the hectic Medina.

I was initially scheduled to stay at 72 Riad in November but suffered a back injury. My deposit was paid and the reservation stipulated that if I canceled within a certain number of days, the deposit was nonrefundable. When my travel agent and I expressed the need to reschedule and requested if the deposit could be transferred to a new date, they were kind and applied my deposit to the new reservation in December. Their customer service was so great that my travel agent said that she would refer all of her Morocco clients to 72 Riad going forward.
I arrived early in the morning. My accommodations were prepared and check in was easy. Each staff member went out of their way to ensure my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The conversations and suggestions on restaurants were invaluable. It allowed me to explore and eat some wonderful food. They also provided suggestions on things to do. Each resident gets a cell phone to be able to reach out to staff members whenever needed.
In addition to the management and staff, the spa was amazing. I got the hammam and massage. Both were absolutely wonderful and I left feeling relaxed. The services were affordable and top notch. You can get luxury treatments at reasonable prices. 72 Riad's goal is to make sure each resident has the best experience possible. In myth case, they exceeded expectations. Whenever I am in Marrakech again I will be staying here!

We spent 4 very comfortable nights at this beautiful riad which is ideally situated in the medina. Despite the hectic atmosphere outside, once inside the riad we enjoyed a true haven of peace and quiet. The staff were so welcoming and prior to our arrival we got lots of advice and help with restaurant recommendations and reservations. When we arrived and left we got help with our luggage as the airport transfer can’t get right to the door. The accommodation was spacious, immaculate and very comfortable; we had a lovely private rooftop area with a hot tub. There is also a lovely shared pool and bar area on the roof top too. Breakfast was delicious and we were able to enjoy this on the roof which was lovely. We also dined one evening and the food was delicious. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend!

Riad 72 is a truly wonderful place to stay if you visit Marrakech. The staff is warm and welcoming, the food (especially the breakfast each morning! ) Is sublime and they help in arranging everything from guides (Osama was excellent! ) to reservations to car service. The property is very well cared for with both a spa and roof with pool, and everything was incredibly clean and quiet. This Riad will not disappoint and I cannot recommend enough!

Fist time in Marokko, Marrakesh we stayed at Riad 72. They had arranged for a private driver from the airport which was very nice and upon arriving we got tea and pastry along with explanation of how to get around the hotel and the city, recommendations for restaurants and sights. Our room was very nice, small but perfect for two, decor was simple and classy. Bed was comfortable and sheets were nice and soft. There is a nice rooftop terrace also where we had breakfast (you need to let the staff know night before if you wish to do that). The location is excellent! The hotel is located just a short walk from the souks and a very good restaurant called Flowers in the dar Marjana (moderately new but this was best food we had on our trip, highly recommend! )
The Riad also had its own hammam and spa. I got a back massage and a foot massage, both were excellent and the spa decor is very simple beautiful and clean. Staff here also very friendly and nice. I would recommend getting treatments at this spa.
Breakfast was good and my food allergies were taken into consideration so well.
Upon leaving staff were nice enough to bring our luggage to our next destination in the city. Would stay here again on my next trip to Marrakesh.

What a special place Riad 72 is. My husband and I enjoyed our 3 night stay immensely. We were at peace from the moment we walked into the leafy and beautiful courtyard. Stephania took the time to go over a map of the city and Medina with us, and made so many helpful suggestions, and all the staff were gracious and helpful throughout our stay. Our room was so comfortable and quiet and breakfasts were huge and delicious every day. Our only regret is that we did not take more time to explore and enjoy all the beautifully decorated common areas, from the rooftop pool and patios to the bar and all the little corners just inviting you to come and relax and read a book. Riad 72 is a gem and we would not hesitate to stay here again if the fates allow us to return to Marrakech. Thank you, Riad 72!

We stayed for three nights in two rooms as a family of four and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The tone was set even before arrival — our email questions were answered quickly and helpfully, giving us real confidence in the team’s care and attention.
Riad 72 is exceptional: beautifully designed, spotless, luxurious and tranquil, with thoughtful details everywhere. Our rooms were spacious, with super-comfortable beds and stylish bathrooms. Everything felt calm, elegant and perfectly maintained.
A top tip: book the airport transfer directly through the riad. It’s very reasonably priced, completely reliable and seamless — as when you arrive into the city, the team meet you just a short walk away (as there’s no vehicle access in the Medina) and take care of your luggage. It’s the perfect way to arrive and settle in.
We dined at Riad 72 several times, both in the main restaurant and their sister venue, and every meal was outstanding — delicious food, great variety and excellent value. Breakfast was a real highlight: fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, eggs, pastries, bread, tea and coffee — all beautifully presented and served with warmth and care.
The staff were simply wonderful. Every person we met was friendly, professional and genuinely eager to make our stay perfect. Nothing was too much trouble, and their attention made the experience truly memorable.
Riad 72 is a true gem — a stylish oasis in the heart of Marrakech. We would return in a heartbeat.

We had a magical stay at Riad 72. Amazing interiors, so peaceful in the medina. Beautiful shared areas, brilliant spa and relaxing roof top. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Breakfast on the rooftop was a daily highlight and all the food is delicious. The location is great, with lots of shops and restaurants in walking distance. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect from the moment we walked inside the Riad, it was like walking into a dream.
The room was beautiful, the staff went above and beyond to help, always greeted with a smile and nothing was too much trouble.
The location was perfect, souks a few steps away and all other sites within 10-15 minute walk. An ATM Machine is just around the corner to draw cash out.
The roof top terrace and pool terrace are absolutely stunning.
Would not hesitate to return or recommend friends.

Very nice place to stay; we had 2 deluxe rooms for 3 nights. Very Moraccon with beautiful interior garden. Clean, very quiet. We had a courtesy welcome tea and orientation by hotel staff — they were friendly and helpful throughout. Be aware that is is located well off the street — several turns down alleys to find it — but staff met you at street drop off and carried bags both ways for you. We were on first floor, but many rooms are up stairs that are circular with no handrails — no elevator on premises. Pool is on rooftop 3 stories up — quite small and maybe 2 ft deep but refreshing. You also have the option to have breakfast on a rooftop — breakfast was good with option to order eggs. We did not eat dinner on site but rather went to a very nearby rooftop "Mexican" restaurant. I would recommend it for a true "Riad" style hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at 72 Riad. The staff were exceptional—warm, attentive, and genuinely eager to make our experience special. The riad itself is stunning, beautifully designed with elegant details and peaceful courtyards that feel like an oasis in the heart of the medina. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace was a highlight, with delicious food and sweeping views of the city. Everything—from the room comfort to the impeccable service—was five-star. We can’t recommend 72 Riad highly enough and would return in a heartbeat!

My daughter and I stayed at 72 Riad for three nights and had the most wonderful time. It is an absolutely beautiful riad in a fantastic location. The staff are incredibly kind and attentive and they made our stay utterly relaxing from start to finish. From delicious breakfasts on one rooftop terrace, to lying by the pool on the other rooftop terrace, to the hammam and massages at the spa and wondering around the souks with a phone that the riad provided for extra peace of mind, we couldn't fault it. Thank you to everyone at 72 Riad. — we will definitely be back!

A beautiful traditional Riad, stunningly furnished and so calm and quiet. Maybe 5 minutes walk from the souk and 10 minutes from the main square so really well located to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the amazing city of Marrakech.
We were given the Manar room which has its own rooftop terrace which was perfect for early morning views and early evening relaxation. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Above all it was very quiet and peaceful.
Breakfast was delightful and with good choice although we were surprised that certain coffees and teas were extra cost. We would also prefer to have tea making facilities in the room.
We came back daily to the rooftop pool area for early afternoon and the pool is small and not very deep — to be expected really. The parasols are probably more fashion than function and we never were able to get a sun bed as these were generally taken (not sure if day visitors to the Hamam could use them) so we used the beanbags/loungers provided.
The staff are lovely and service overall was courteous, professional and friendly.
It is not easy to find so we were met by a staff member at a taxi drop off point and similarly taken to our departure point when we left.
Overall a lovely oasis and stay in the Medina.

The level of service both before and after was exceptional. It is a beautiful Riad just out of the bustle of the main souks so lovely and quiet but only a short walk into the heart of all the alleys and sights.

The location is perfect, breakfast and staff are terrific. The deluxe rooms are fabulous while the classic are a little smaller. Amenities are well thought out. One thing to be aware of are the stairs. If stairs are an issue please make sure management is aware to ensure your room location and bedroom is on same level.
