Riad Dar Coram

The road to this riad is in very bad condition and feels unsafe. Inside, the layout is poorly designed — when going up to the room my husband actually hit his head on the wall and got injured, as the space is extremely cramped. We were very dissatisfied with the room and could not stay, yet the management insisted on charging us the full amount even though we didn’t use the accommodation. The owner was dismissive and arrogant, refusing to communicate with us directly, and even reported us to Booking as a “no show” despite the fact that we were there. Overall, this was a very unpleasant and unfair experience.

Great Riad, Ahmed is a very kind, friendly and hospitable host. We had a lovely time at this Riad, good location to all the tourist spots. Lovely elegant room and traditional Moroccan bathroom. Naima was great too!

A wonderful little Riad. An oasis of calm amongst the hustle & bustle of Marrakech.
Our host Ahmed (not sure if he is the official manager but always took charge) could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to make recommendations for places to visit, booked taxis on our behalf and did his best to answer all of our questions on a variety of topics regarding the city & Morocco. Such a kind & hospitable man.
The food on offer was excellent — a good variety for breakfast each morning and a couple of delicious tagine for dinner — all served on the tranquil roof terrace.
The bedroom had simple yet elegant decor and a reliable air-con unit and everything felt clean & fresh. My only quibble would be that there was no curtain or screen surrounding the shower area, which inevitably made the bathroom floor near the shower rather damp. This is a minor inconvenience overall though.
Will be booking this Riad again the next time I am lucky enough to be in the beautiful, crazy city of Marrakesh.

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-night stay at Riad Dar Coram. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and cared for. Ahmed, the manager, went above and beyond in every way—offering help, guidance, and warmth that made our experience unforgettable. Nothing was too much trouble, and his local knowledge added so much richness to our time in Marrakech.
The riad itself is peaceful, clean, and beautifully maintained, tucked away in a quiet part of the medina yet still within easy walking distance of the main sights. Our room (and bed! ) was spacious and comfortable, and the breakfasts each morning were fresh and delicious—served on the serene rooftop terrace.
What really sets Riad Dar Coram apart is the personal touch. We left feeling rested, inspired, and full of love for this amazing city!

My husband, son and I loved our stay at Riad Dar Coram. After walking the narrow, dusty alleyways, it felt like an oasis in the desert, when we walked into the beautiful cool court yard. We appreciated the warm welcome from the friendly staff.
Ahmed was especially helpful; serving us mint tea and cake. He then helped us plan where we could visit and made a list of good places to eat. He also helped us make reservations and find our way through the labyrinth of narrow streets to get our taxi. Nothing was too much trouble for him.
The room was airy and clean with lovely decoration and the beds were very comfortable.
Breakfast on the roof terrace every morning was plentiful and delicious.

On arrival to the hotel we were greeted by Ahmed who could not have been more welcoming. After helping us with our bags he served us a delicious dinner. He then sat down with us to discuss an itinerary of where we should visit and that due to the fact taxis could not manage the narrow streets we could use the hotel’s private car and driver. This was a game changer for me as I am a wheelchair user so it opened up many more places for us to see. There are a few markets within walking distance and again thanks to Ahmed for helping us to discover these little gems. Marrakesh is quite busy but after a few days you get used to it. All the staff at the Riad del Coram were great but Ahmed was like our guardian angel and helped make our trip to Marrakech truly unforgettable.

Riad Dar Coram is located in a back alleyway in the old city centre of Marrakesh.
We were welcomed by a very friendly staff member who also served a delicious meal of steaming hot tajines.
The room was spacious, well decorated and the bed was really comfortable.
The bathroom may need some improvements, but was clean. Water was hot after a while, and soap was available.
After a good night sleep we enjoyed a nice breakfast on the sunny rooftop.
Recommend this place, mainly because of the friendly staff member who speaks English very well and the location. In 10 minutes you are in the souks. Don't be shocked by the state of the neighbourhood though.

We stayed at the Riad at the end of December and were warmly welcomed by Abdou. They speak English perfectly and were extremely kind and welcoming.
Although we encountered a small issue upon our arrival at the Riad, Abdou and his team promptly resolved the situation, demonstrating excellent service. They gave us great restaurant recommendations, arranged taxis for our appointments outside the Medina, and assisted us with our luggage.
The Riad is impeccably clean and organized, with a hot shower, well-equipped bathroom featuring a great showerhead and hairdryer. Breakfast was always prepared with great care, including warm bread, jams, yogurt, and delicious mint tea!
On our last day, we left early, and in a kind gesture, they prepared coffee for us outside of regular hours.
I highly recommend this Riad to anyone looking for a warm and attentive experience!

This stay was incredible. It’s a small and beautiful Riad where service is outstanding. Ahmed is taking care of any wish you could think of and you feel immediately at home ☺️
Rooftop Terrasse offers nice and cozy atmosphere for breakfast or a sundown dinner.

My husband and I had a lovely 5 day trip in Marrakech. Riad Dar Coram was excellent as we were about a 10-15min walk from the main square and other shops and facilities. We would like to thank Ahmed and his team for their incredible hospitality, kindness and for all their help throughout our trip. Ahmed was very knowledgeable and helped us to book on a tour to Ouzoud waterfall (a must! ) and even helped us sort out a last minute taxi to the airport.
We stayed in the junior suite; the room is as pictured and offers a lovely calming ambience. Once again thank you to Ahmed and the Dar Coram team for making my birthday trip a memorable one! Zarah and Haaris :)

Riad Dar Coram was a fantastic stay with a caring and accomdating team that made out stay unforgettable. Located in center of old town it is walking distance to all the main attractions. Ahmed was a down to earth personal always there to help us with honest and knowledgeable advice on traversing through marrakech and Ait Ben Hadou. In hind sight his advice saved us alot of hassle and also guided us to more authentic.
Morrocan experiences.
Boushra kept the place very tidy and also went out of her way to do our washing after returning from a hike to the atlas mountain with alot of dirty clothes. If you want a stress free transportation outside of old town I would highly recommend thier in-house taxi service with Salah. It is a fair price and you avoid the overcharging taxis in the city. If you want genuine morrocon food and tagine the chief Naima is the person to have cook for you. Despite tagines being available all over marrakech I found them to be mostly locking the quality and favouring quantity. Naima on the other hand cooks to food with alot of time love and care. The best tagine I had in morroco was in the Riad. Over all Dar Coram was just perfect and a nice place to call home for our 1 week stay.
This was all thanks to the loving staff and the main man Ahmed. I would highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone visiting marrakech. It's the perfect balance to the hectic city. Thank you Riad Dar Coram.

The staff at this Riyad treat you like family. Hafid, Abdul and the ladies who cook are warm and welcoming, the boys speak great English and will do their utmost to ensure your stay is comfortable. Cute little terrace offers a nice breakfast spot and the rooms are clean, beds super comfy, air con works and breakfast is great. Would stay here again. Price is right too.

We had a blast at Riad Dar Coram! It was our first time in Marrakech and the owners made sure it was an unforgettable experience. The room was beautifully decorated, the bed super comfy and having traditional breakfast on the terrace every morning wasn’t bad either! The staff was also very friendly and willing to answer any question we had. The only drawback is the location, as it’s a bit far from the city center but in general I highly recommended it.

Lovely place to stay. The decor is beautiful inside the rooms and around the riad. Bed was also really comfy and felt safe. Great location too but the staff were the best part. Yassine was so accommodating and really went the extra mile to assist us with whatever we needed. Highly recommmend!

What a great place to stay! We were at Riad Dar Coram with our family and friends during the holidays in December. Yassin and staff made sure that we had the best time there from picking us up from the train station, making dinner for us at the Riad. (the dinner was so great that we ate there twice), doing laundry, to organizing day trips for us. I must say that the price was very reasonable. The rooms were beautiful and very comfortable. When I go back to Marrakech, I will stay there again.
