Palm Appart Hôtel Marrakech

Not sure how they are rated 5 stars but definitely not a 5 star hotel. Was practically empty when I stayed but Wi-Fi was still terrible. Rooms were clean but outdated with some furniture on its last legs. AC would give off an extremely bad odour when turned on so best to be left off. Overall not terrible but for the price and “5 stars” you expect much better.

We booked a full package, including four nights at Palm Apart Club, for our first visit to Marrakesh. The price was very reasonable, and the facilities for the money paid were excellent. This included a large (though unheated) swimming pool, spacious rooms, clean bedding, beautiful gardens and views, extremely friendly staff, a good location not far from town, and plenty of local shops nearby. However, the two main drawbacks that prevented me from giving a 5-star rating were the poor Wi-Fi, which was unavailable in some rooms, and the lack of toiletries such as shampoo, with only a small soap provided in each room. There are always plenty of local taxis outside, and after learning the reasonable fare to the city center (around 50 MAD), things became much better. I truly enjoyed the sunrise and sunset at this hotel and the amazing sounds of birds during those times, especially when sitting next to the beautiful, colorful flowers 🌺. 3 minute walk from Almazar mall with many food and drink options and a large Carrefour supermarket. Highly recommended, but it's advisable to manage expectations, though it’s still excellent value for money.

I recently stayed at Appart Club Marrakech and, unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the staff and management were disorganized and lacked basic hospitality skills. It felt as though their primary concern was to extract money from guests rather than provide a welcoming and comfortable environment.
The cleanliness of the property was another major issue. The common areas were not well-maintained, and my room left much to be desired. It seemed like no effort had been made to ensure a tidy and pleasant stay.
What struck me the most was the overall attitude of the staff. There was a noticeable "can't be bothered" demeanor that made interactions frustrating. Requests for assistance were often met with indifference, as if my concerns were an inconvenience rather than part of their job. I booked a 2 bedroom and on arrival I was given a 1 bedroom and trying to get this resolved on arrival spoilt my holiday from the beginning, I was sending emails and making numerous phone calls to Live Holiday and the Palm Appart Club staff attitude was nothing to do with us?
My complaint was I am the guest give me my 2 bedroom apartment for which I am clarifying by showing you my reservation document clearly stating 2 bedroom apartment but they simply didn’t want to know or help. My first night was spent on an uncomfortable sofa.
Not a 5 stars as advertised, I would give it a 2 star.

Just arrived 19/12/2024 so far I love the place it is sure vaule for money apartment lovely everything so close.
From supermarket to kids entertainment area super ideal. The apartment is literally 2 mintues away from the food court where they have pizza hut, domino's, KFC, burger king & many more food place.
We met hamza at reception the first night what an amazing guy was so helpful.
Does also have a kids club where u can leave your kids to play.
Tennis court & ping pong ball so many things to keep you busy.

We got an apartment at Palm Appart Club and we had excellent experience. Apartment is very clean. Hotel staff and reception are fantastic. Location is great as well with shopping mall in front of the hotel with food and supermarkets. Everything was great at our stay.

Run down rooms, service was not great. We would request items such as a hair dryer or iron at least 6 times over the space of 2 days and then would take them from the room when we go out. Stayed for 5 nights, not impressed at all. Only good thing was location. Cute cafes across the road for breakfast, and a small mall to grab stuff if needed.

I was set to go on holiday to Morroco with the family for the first time. But what they rated as 4* hotel is nowhere any 4* accommodation and amenities. I have travelled all over the world to many different continents. What is portrayed on their website and on booking. Com, travelup. Com, and other hotel booking website is not what you will get. The photos that they uploaded look like when the hotel was brand new build. It's almost a 10 year old hotel when I visited in November 2024.
Let me tell you the following. I had to change room 4 times, and on my 4th night, I had enough and asked to be refunded to find an alternative hotel accommodation. They management of the hotel ignores you to the point that you should just give up.
But I did pay almost 10, 000 Moroccan Dirham for 8 nights. Which is almost £100/€120 per night. (that includes local taxes), which you need to pay them directly to the hotel of you booked with a third party provider.
Facilities and the amenities that you get promised at the point of sale are not what you get in reality. No hairdryers or iron, ironing board. No soap only when you request it.
The first room my family was offered was dirty, multiple rooms didn't have light (light fittings were not working), and it stanks of sewage. Not to mention that the curtains looked like they had never been washed for a decade or ironed. The tiled floor was dirty and full of dust and sand.
Got moved to another room after highlighting the issues mentioned above.

Worst holiday hotel accommodation. This hotel does deserve to be given 1 star. The staff tells you that they will sort things out but never do. I had to put a formal complaint. I had to chabge room 4 times. 1st room was filthy and stank of sewage. The second room has 3 lights faulty and the walls and fittings was poor with no sign of upkeep and maintenance. The third room had broken kitchen cabinet and damaged draws and electrical plugs loose and looked not safe. I had 3 young children on holiday. On my 4th room I had a very frightening experience where my mobile charger exploded and my original phone charger and cable burned. At that point I got very angry and frustrated. And by the way there were more minor issues like they do nit provide you with hair dryer, no iron or ironing board (this is advertised on my booking website that I book this stay with).
I can go on on.

This hotel was excellent I can not wrong it. Comfortable stay the staff were outstanding… Saleem, mohammed Kareem all the receptionist staff were outstanding. The apartment was clean and regular cleaning was done. I would go back to the same apartment again. The breakfast was outstanding.

Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience, and the treatment at the reception was even worse. I booked three nights and paid for two, and they told me at the reception that I would pay for the third night before checking out. To my surprise, on the second night, they called my wife several times to tell her to leave the hotel with our 6-month-old son. I was at work, and they told her that we needed to pay for all three nights in advance.
My wife went to pay for the third night, but they told her that the room was already booked by someone else and that she couldn’t stay. I don’t know if this kind of treatment is just for Moroccans or everyone in general?
There was no cleanliness at all; the cleaning lady would enter without permission. Not once, but twice, we found her in our room, taking towels and never bringing them back. We had to use the small towels to dry ourselves after swimming. The bed was not clean, and the TV remote control was in a terrible state with most of the buttons missing.
Had I read the reviews beforehand, I wouldn’t have come here. This will definitely be my last visit to your hotel.

The staff were brilliant, so friendly and eager to engage in conversation about your day, or your life back home. Always courteous and smiling. We asked for a late checkout on our last day, as we had a 6pm flight. Not only did they accommodate, but they didn't charge us. The room was clean and cleaned daily. We had an issue with the refrigerator in our room, and this was replaced by the time we had, had lunch and returned. We enjoyed being able to to chill around the pool in an afternoon, after a morning of exploring the hustle and bustle of marrakech. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely use this hotel 🙂

Staff are ok but the building is quit old and outdated. Breakfast menu is repeated daily. So if you are planing to stay more than a week, then you need better buy your food outside.

Very good spot for family vacation. Lovely pool, garden and play area for kids. Good location, right next to a big shopping mall.
Appartment are clean and spacious equipped with kitchen and fridge. However Furnishing a bit old. Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. Staff is nice and friendly.

Very nice apartments, clean & kids had a lot of fun.
