We stayed in here for one night, between our long drive from Ceuta to Marrakech. I have to say, Fes was much nicer all in all than Marrakech, with the Medina being much more hassle free. I could have stayed a bit longer! Arriving to the area was easy, there is a big (and cheap) parking area near the hotel. There is apparently an underground parking place, but I was happy enough with the one we first left it. Finding the hotel was a bit tricky, there was a sign at the beginning of the road, but the signs stop for a while. Luckily a local man showed us the way without any hassle (or asking for any money or such, which is almost always the case in Marrakech). The first impression wasnt too great. A tiny alley and a small little looking building. Knocked on the door, but no one opened. Waited for a while, until someone told us the guy, Hamid, was just getting a coffee. He soon appeared, introduced himself and apologised for being away, which was not problem for us. Hamid was extremely polite, offered us tea and showed us our room. We stayed at the ground level, which didnt seem like a great place. But the room itself was wonderful and a very impressive bathroom. They had one of the best Wi-Fi connections during our Morocco trips, which for me was very surprising. After finding the place, the location was very good, close to the Medina and had many cafes and small kiosks just right close by. They offer breakfast, but we slept in, so we did not try it.
