Hotel Amparo

Hotel Amparo has its own parking, which is described as secure and covered, protecting vehicles from the sun. However, some guests note that it is small and may be poorly organized. There are also mentions of situations where the administration asks guests to move their cars to the street, sometimes doing so in a rude manner.

Opinions regarding the staff are divided. Many guests describe the employees as very attentive, kind, and polite, noting excellent service from the moment of check-in. At the same time, there are complaints about the rudeness of some employees, specifically a woman on the day shift and front desk staff who "lack empathy." There was also a reported instance of a booking failure where a reserved room was given to another guest.

The hotel operates its own mini-restaurant, where the food is described as tasty. A special highlight is the free compliment for guests: coffee and pastries (pan dulce) are offered in the mornings.

Wi-Fi is provided at the hotel. Most guests rate it positively, with one review highlighting the internet as the only good quality in the room.

Soundproofing in the hotel is poor. Guests note that the walls are very thin, making it possible to hear almost everything happening in adjacent rooms.

Reviews regarding the condition of the rooms are contradictory. Some guests find them clean and comfortable. Others report significant wear and tear: peeling paint on doors, rusty handles, faucets, and showerheads, as well as damp spots and dirt on the walls and ceilings. Dirty or torn sheets and dusty surfaces have also been mentioned.

The issue of cleanliness is a subject of much debate. Many praise the hotel for its impeccable cleanliness. However, a significant number of guests complain about unsanitary conditions: cockroaches were found in rooms and bathrooms (especially near sinks and drains). Unpleasant odors of dampness and a "smell of feet" were also mentioned in some rooms.

Rooms are equipped with air conditioners, which many find effective. However, there has been negative experience: one guest reported that the air conditioner remote does not work intentionally, and the temperature is fixed at 25°C to save energy. There have also been complaints that the air conditioner in the room does not cool.

The hotel provides a luggage storage service. Regarding accessibility, guests mention the existence of a second floor, and elderly guests are recommended to request rooms on the first floor to avoid the tiring climb up the stairs.

Yes, the hotel accepts guests with pets, which is highly appreciated by dog owners traveling by road.
