The place is nice and the restaurant food rich. But the pool very dirty, lack maintenance.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights last August-2022-and it was very good value. The hotel is located a short distance from the main plaza with several restaurants nearby.

This is a very good hotel to stay in right in if you want to be right in the middle of downtown Xalapa. It is behind the Government Palace, a few steps from the main square.

Excellent value. Large, comfortable rooms with a desk for work. Quality and reasonably priced restaurant. Safe, secure and covered parking. Pool just outside the restaurant.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff, clean rooms. I love the quietness it gives to sleep. Most other hotels even though they're great hotels are near busy and loud streets.

This place is excellent. The price, the view, the restaurant, breakfast, everything was amazing. The staff are absolutely wonderful people. Location is also perfect.

The HB is located in one of the main avenues in Xalapa. The people at the counter is nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The food at the restaurant is good.

While visiting family we stayed there for a couple of nights, the location is great, you can arrive and leave easily skipping all the city traffic what I appreciate very much.

August 2025: Great Holiday Inn location, the rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was great with fresh fruit, tasty pastries, and local/international options.

The bedding and room were excellent. I got locked out of my room twice with a card key. Best hotel in town, yes I would go back.

As others mentioned, the towels are showing their age. But everything was clean and enjoyable.

Sometimes you might wonder as I have about some reviews. This one is legit. I stayed one night in the Veracruz location. It was excellent in every way. Well maintained and room was very clean.

Very nice hotel and nice, clean, spacious rooms. Accessing and getting around is tricky and heavily congested with traffic and tricky roads. Near outlet mall.

First night was on the 9th floor on a Sunday. View was amazing! Hotel was quiet. Room had a coffee machine and room service menu.

Very nice and clean, wonderful gardens and pet friendly. I’m giving 4 stars because the beach is very steep, you have to walk a few yards to really enjoy.
