These scoundrel thieves (Manager & "Security" Manager) stole my sunglasses (D&G $450usd), I went to the restroom and they went gone from my table. They refused to show me the tapes. Refused to show the police also.

The hotel is very nice only that it has no parking and the avenue is too busy and reduced to leave it on the sidewalk.

Everything was absolutely marvelous and classy! Loved every minute of our stay! Can’t wait to come back.

Lousy restaurant service, it took an hour and a half serve and half an hour to bring the drinks, are excusaron that there is not enough staff, having only 4 tables with people … and it is high season …? The dishes are not cheap like to have such a bad service.

Peaceful, beautiful and relaxing. A must for anyone coming to Mazatlan! Maria. Humberto and the entire staff have been nothing but pleasant, attentive and welcoming! The best of Sinoloa is just outside the doors of this beautiful hotel. From the gorgeous beach to the "Centro Historico". And the staff will guide you to the best of the best in Mazatlan. If you want a personal tour of surrounding points of interest, they will set you up with fantastic tour guides! Avoid the cliche' tourist mess at the north end of Mazatlan. The south end and Casa Lucila are where it's at!

Gorgeous boutique hotel with stunning views from the room balcony, restaurant and pool. Rooms are minimally and beautifully decorated, our bed was very comfortable and the bathroom is enormous. Food at the restaurant is some of the best we've had in Mazatlan and all of the staff are wonderful. Walking distance from a plethora of restaurants in Old Mazatlan and right on the promenade.

This is a lovely boutique hotel. Situated at the end of the bay so the traffic isn't as heavy, making the place quiet. It is only a few steps from local restaurants and stores and just a few blocks away is the Teatro, well worth checking out. The rooms are filled with fine furniture and nicely decorated. The balcony is perfect for a quiet time outside or to watch the ocean, where on occasion get a glimpse of an orca or dolphin in the distance. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Lovely little hotel with a very friendly and warm staff. Excellent food and service. I enjoyed my 4 day stay immensely. If I ever go back to Mazatlan, this would be the only place I would stay.

We had a free 2 nights stay that hubby won. They indicated to me that it was high season and I would only be able to use it in June. I leave in April and the gift certificate expired in August. They told me the hotel was booked solid yet I saw absoloutley no other people. Again I am not back until Oct. So unable to make use of the PRIZE. I asked if they could extend the length of the certificate and they said no. So I ended up in I room I will politely call the basement. It was for 2 nights but we came home after the first night. At least I see sunshine in my condo. The staff were very nice but I won't go back.

This is definitely a wonderful hotel. The pool is small but when theres only 8 rooms its fine for adults. Couldn't have asked for a better view or service. I highly recommend the hotel.

This review is only re the bar. For years it has been a favourite but I'm out of patience now. Watered down cocktails for happy hour is not OK, particularly not watered down to nothing. There is no cocktail on the happy hour menu (other than the beer) which is not watered down. Shame on you Casa Lucila, you have good standards re other matters, and you should be doing better than this.

Best hotel in Mazatlan, Centro Historico. Excellent service, warm people, delicious breakfast, spacious and luxurious rooms, topped with a rooftop pool with a stunning view. Been back several times, always a pleasure!

Excellent attention, good taste of decoration, amplitude in rooms good equipment, very well maintained, super clean, excellent kitchen, is enjoy the dishes well presented and delicious, nice bar, excellent view to the sea, with a street without traffic, without noise, beautiful sunsets, very romantic place.

We stopped here for lunch and enjoyed an excellent meal, with very fresh local fish, elote con crema, and sopa de tortilla. We've always wanted to stay here, maybe someday!

This is a great hotel. However, we were not happy with reception. We came in before check time and were able to leave our luggage with reception. Reception stated that the room might be available before 3 pm and that if so they would let us know when ready so we left to get breakfast and after a few hours came back. When returned to the hotel we were told that the room was not ready but that we were welcomed to sit around in their waiting area. We decided to go to the pool. We were in the pool for at least 2 hours and not once anybody came to the pool to see if we needed anything. Reception knew we were in the pool. We saw a camera and started waiving and that's when they came over to see if we needed anything. The waiter/waiters were pretty nice but I was disappointed that reception was not kind enough to follow up with us. This hotel was expensive and I believe that at least we deserved a better treatment. : (
