This place is our favorite place in Tulum and we’ve stayed at over 10. This should be called the Real Tulum. Yoga and cold ice baths are complimentary as it’s a wellness hotel. No sargassum when we were here in October. Staff is super friendly. We stayed in a jungle tent with outdoor bathroom 🚽 so cool the entire design and vibe do this place. They should win an award for the design and decor keeping with the boho chill vibes of Tulum. For the best stay, stay south where it’s quieter down here. Never had issues getting a beach bed. Food is excellent.

Incredible place, staff is amazing, rooms are top notch and the beach/pool area is wonderful. The two restaurants have great food yet limited selection and no Mexican street type food or „normal“ food. Mostly seafood and the Moroccan Menu, but do not have food for children besides fish sticks and potato wedges. After 5 days we are ready for something different to eat but it will not stop us from returning. Love this place!

I cannot express to the staff how amazing yous have been since I stepped foot into Nomade! Nomade has been a once in a lifetime experience. Only place to stay in Tulum. From the rooms, to the scenic jungle experience, amazing hearty food and great beach you will not be disappointed in anything here!

The staff are Very accommodating. Each room is designed and decorated in its own way. The vibe and set up of the hotel is very Zen and relaxing. The beaches are kept clean. I highly recommend to stay at Nomade.

Its beach is one of the cleanest, the cleaning service and excellent care, the food is delicious, the rooms very comfortable, you really rest there.

Having own a travel company and staying in several hotels around the world I would rate this one as okay. The settling and food are good. They could use help in the drink and concierge department. I repeatedly as for the contact information of a Manager and the concierge simply refused. They gave me a bike with a rusted chain that literally broke. I had to call a taxi to return me to the hotel. A true luxury hotel would have handled the situation much differently. They definitely aren’t a luxury hotel. Above mid tier, but luxury. The rooms aren’t luxury. I walked into two different room types and they are all just basic.

Terrible experience, the room did not have it at the set time and the first 2 rooms that assigned us, did not work, so we waited in the summer heat for more than 1 hour to be given a room… nothing recommended.

I was having nice experience at the restaurant of Nomade till the other day that I went there for a meal with my family, the waiter told us that in case it rains we will move to the restaurant indoors called macondo cuz the sky look gray at that time, I agree and ask some drinks, after a while the sky clears up but when our drinks arrive we were asked to move to the restaurant indoors without any reason, there’s was no rain neither gray clouds so I didn’t accept and leave the place without touching the drinks, for me was a clear case of discrimination cuz I was a local and they were giving preference to foreigners cuz I saw a couple sat in another table without being disturbed, and añdo their beach club was running normally, even when I was a regular client and order main dishes always, they just show a practice that sadly becoming more and more common in Tulum, so I totally not recomended this place at all, client is first local or foreigner they paid the same and we recommend you so is highly insulting this situation!

Wonderful chic place with in house complimentary yoga, sound healing, books and bikes to lend, and delicious breakfast. The only downside we’ve experienced so far was some of the personnel’s attitude, but I guess it’s just Mexican thing. Overall — 5 stars for the authenticity, decor and atmosphere!

Nomade truly captures the goal of being a soulful, peace-ridden, and awakening space to share, reconnect, and find solace within one's self. Every detail from their sand paths to their serene decor is like a great exhale as you reconnect with yourself and detach from the bustle of daily life. Their cuisine is fresh and not overreaching and the staff is courteous. Well worth the trip down the road; I can't recommend enough.

Loved the glamping-style accomodation. I loved this place more than any other hotels along the beach. Because it's more casual and a low key, but still has its beautiful standard.

I Will never stay at Nomade Tulum again! Arrogant service and the place are overrated! The Beach is amazing there, but there are so many other places to stay in Tulum.
Dont waste your money here.

Nomade Tulum provides you with an absolutely bohemian beachside experience from the main restaurant that is primarily vegan to the seafood restaurant on the white sands. The staff is very attentive and this is an excellent home base to experience all that Tulum has to offer. Tips include grabbing a covered bed on the beach at 8:00am before you go to the breakfast that is included with your stay (many people from outside the resort come to enjoy this stunning beach and if you don't claim your covered bed early you will be stuck in the harsh sun all day). Also, the shower is not very great but the overall feel of the resort is very nomadic which is appropriate. Rarely will you wear shoes when at the property because most of the resort is accessible on the white sands of the beach. Definitely order the fresh fish from La Popular (1 kg is normally enough for a hungry person) and enjoy the onsite restaurant (Macondo) when you can. This is a great resort to get away from it all (internet coverage is not great).

Food was incredible, great vegan choices. Would definitely eat there again. The staff are really nice and super relaxed. It has a moroccan vibe, you can have the full experience by choosing to sit on the floor with low tables. Drinks are delicious also!

Place is very nice, decoration and the idea of hippie luxury is a bit confusing but I had to see it by myself. I wait very long until somebody came to take the order and is the first place in my life where they suggest in the bill the tip either 15% or 20% and if you leave less (considering the tip is something subjective) they got angry. (waitress) I believe Mexicans have a lot influence of Americans… people not all the population in the world leave tip! Worst if was a bad service!
So if you want to get very good tip then offer a excellent service!

I ordered I bottle of water at the beach and it took 30 minutes to arrive. This hotel is so fuckup that’s this morning there was no place to sit for breakfast and now there is no table to eat lunch! But the worst part is that I have to stay until Monday and enjoy this awful service! This is without mentioning the amount of flies everywhere you go! Skip it.

Great restaurant at this hotel. They offered a healthy vegan menu including a beer burger which was a first. Prices are reasonable for the area and the salad bowls were generous and delicious! I came here everyday for one of their salads that came with a great peanut dressing. The restaurant also had a great vibe and decorated with a Moroccan flare. Very relaxing and welcoming.

Amazing place to be, best place in Tulum for relaxed day at the beach, to meditate to get to know some parts of yourselves that were waiting to be descovered. My favorite of all would be the food it was delicious and absolutely wonderful. Can’t wait to go again!

Nomads is a truly wonderful hotel. Let me tell you, if you’re considering this hotel, you must already know about its wonderful spa and “Thankfulness tent” activities. But I’m here to let you know that it isn’t all yogis and photographers taking photos of nearly naked swimsuit models (though its mostly that). There are also some very wealthy English people and a couple women with large sunglasses and their dogs. My wife and I were never bored here, and we always enjoyed ourselves. Try the morning yoga, I promise you’ll never forget it. Also, the breakfast is outstanding and goes until noon. Watch out for the beanbag furniture on the beach (if you don’t sit down just right, it will not forgive you). Also, the green juice is wonderful but I preferred the mauve one. —Just outstanding! I only hope that next year they have a chocolate fountain, I do so love those, and I hear they’re good for the skin!

I just finished my 2nd stay at Nomade Tulum within 2 years. And I will say it at the start this is one of the top places to stay at the beach of Tulum and I will surely return for a 3rd visit in the future. The main reason is the outstanding location of the resort: the beach in this area is particularly nice and the management of the hotel really keeps a very close eye on keeping the grounds authentic, clean and longliving. Secondly the whole concept works very well. If you want to recharge and relax your body and mind the hotel offers the perfect combination of atmosphere, food and activities/ wellness to do this and for you to leave this place in a happy and uplifted mood. In regards to the rooms they have tents and small casitas which are more pricey but closer to the beach. I was very happy to see that they set up new tents which are overall a full improvement to the previous ones: way more spacious and luxurious than before. Well done! The only small point of critic I have is the service level in the two restaurants: there seems to be a very large amount of staff but the waiting times for bringing menu or food seem generally too long. I understand this is a place to chill but this should not necessarily mean that guests have to wait long time. In general though the staff covering rooms, check-in, beach etc is very attentive and caring. I am soo looking forward to be back soon.

Nômade is seriously beautiful. We stopped in on a recommendation by a local friend for a delicious dinner on a day trip, and I am so glad we did. The views, various art installations, lights and fellow guests were gorgeous (seriously, expect to be surrounded by models and other types with Instagram income). Our photos don't do the place justice. Food prices we found to be very fair, and everything was cooked well and super tasty. It was such a beautiful dining experience, one to remember!

Very good the town of Tulum is very nice the beach the sea that has the hotel is wonderful only the staff lacks a little touch is all.

Nómade is perhaps the best of New Tulum. Morning yoga, evening ceremonies, gluten free foods, and the traditional resort experience. Wi-Fi is spotty and one cannot flush toilet paper, but was that what one comes for?

Great hotel with an amazing beach. The drinks are expensive but it is worth it.

Beautiful property, really lovely vibe, restaurant was delightful for breakfast. They also do some nightlife events there which are beautiful. I have not stayed to sleep here, so I can't comment Beyond this.

Nomade was suggested by a friend. When we got here we were amazed by the location and by the room (we had a tent). Everything is in wood, nice decoration with carpets, pillows and so on. They do organise activities everyday. The + : great beach, nice ambiance and cool outdoor bathroom. The food is very good at breakfast and at the 2 restaurants. The — : for such a hotel and its price I would expect an 5 stars experience, but this was not the case. The service is very slow, the first day at breakfast nobody told us how it was and what we could or not have. It got better the second day. Choice is though limited to 4/5 dishes from the menu available. Service is not the expected from such a place. The hotel gives u 1 bottle of water per day. Water is not included in the breakfast or on the beach, you always have to pay for it, while in other luxe hotels they always bring you fresh fruits or water on the beach for example. Last point that I think it depends more on the enviroent than to them, it’s the humidity of a tent. All in all improving small things it could become a top place. The surroundinfs are just wow!

We love this place and have been many times and spend money. We were told it's closed despite we said we would eat at the restaurant and use the beach. We were rudely told we have to pay them 50usd each on entry. Instead we'll goto Be Tulum next door which is just as good in all ways and very politely explained that we didn't need to spend 50 each as long as we ate at the restaurant. Front desk people should be happy to see you, not irritated like at nomade.

Fantastic sister hotel to Be Tulum next door. Food and drinks and rooms all great but it is the location that sets it apart.

Excellent food and wonderful ambience! You feel like in a movie or book! We tried both the beach and the "up/indoor" restaurants. Both were excellent! The whole experience is surreal! It is expensive for Mexico on par with US good restaurants, but totally worth it. The staff is very nice and I did not felt one moment they try to upsale their food.

I traveled during low season (September) and I got a mixed feeling about Nômade. The food is great, the location is superb but the the eco-friendly design might be a bit disappointing given the price vs. Other similar boutique hotels (don't expect One and Only or Grand Velas-like designer furniture). I didn't try the daily activities. What really needs to be improved is the service: every time we went to the restaurant, dishes were assigned to wrong tables; plates picked before asking (hey I'm still chewing! ) and have to hunt down of waiter for menus/bill. Don't expect service staff support you at the beach, you'll have to chase yours. Overall I felt poorly trained staff which might be understandable given the low season and high rotation. Overall I think Nômade was overpriced for an average service and experience. If you want to spend that much, look for other high-end hotels and if you really really want a true eco-friendly experience go to other true eco-spot.

Worst reservation/booking experience I've ever had. Office staff is dishonest, unprepared and extremely rude. Wouldn't recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing experience.

They did a great job here. Great tent rooms thst arent too fancy and have a nice comfortable and outdoors feel. Staff is solid. Food and drinks are solid (though there were times I thought the freshness of the food could be better even when execution was superb) Music is great. Their beach is beautiful. Cannot wait to come back.

While this is clearly popular with a certain crowd, we found the rooms dark, smelly and over priced, the fact they play loud house music all the time tedious and annoying and the rich, posing crowd boring. Tulum is a beautiful beach and there are plenty of great places to stay but, for us, this wasn't one of them. Overrated.

Very beautiful place – peaceful and well designed. Being located at the end of the road is a good thing because there is much less tourist traffic. We stayed in the deluxe tents which are very nice with private outdoor bathrooms–this only sucks when it rains. One thing to watch out for: the construction & maintenance staff work early hours which is a bummer if you like to sleep past 7:30am. Large machinery and groups of chatty men woke us every morning – not so relaxing. But the days spent lounging on the beach were worth it.

Beautiful place, hippie chic, top and expensive ja. But very nice.

We booked the tent as it looked very nice in the photos on the website, but in reality it did not look anything like it was shown on the website photos! Do not book the tenet! It's very very small, the bathroom is under open air and we went to bathroom with umbrella as it was raining every single morning during my trip! We had to wait until the rain is over to take shower … no furniture in the tents, no hangers, and in the hotel there is no hair dryer, no iron, no TV (I personally did not need any of these, but just letting you that it's not there) the tents are very dirty and very noisy… on my 4th day there and after complaining to the management they changed my tent to the standard room, this was very very small, however I had a roof in the shower (which was almost on top of the toilet just hanging from the ceiling, no separation, no shower curtains or doors… also portable AC in this room was only blowing hot air… I pairs $300 a night + fees and taxes for the tent, if the tent was $50 a night, I would not complain as I would get the value! But $300 is way overpriced for this place …

Just perfect. The best beach Club in Tulum.

I stayed in Nomade last week for 3 days and I found it to be overpriced and disappointing
1 — Breakfast: Apparently was included, but every time we had breakfast we have to pay a service charge, but we didn't know what percent of what total we were paying. Also If you want decaf coffee you have to pay extra.
2 — Luxury tent: Very poor quality, the tent had big holes that we needed to fill with paper and towels, the zips were broken so we couldn'ted close properly the tent at the front and back, also it was dirty and damp. I have attached pictures so everyone can see that it doesn't look like the pictures on the website at all.
The air conditioner was next to the bed and spitting water onto the bed and leaking water on the floor. Also very noisy at night.
There is a problem with the pipes as there was strong toilet smell in the camp at night.
3 — Water: big business! €4/4. $9 per bottle and there is nowhere near by to buy water. We were in shock as the price for water was more expensive than in Europe.

I was in Nomade last week for 3 days and the truth has been a disappointment, these are some of the points I do not find honest on the part of the hotel with tourists:
1 — Breakfast: It was supposed to be included, anyway every time we went to breakfast we were charged the service we did not know what percentage of típs corresponded.

The hotel is my favorite in Tulum. Amazing vibe, architecture and service at this jungle/beach property. Rooks have great views and modern finishes. The food in both restaurants is outstanding, but I particularly recommend ordering the fish of the day with the lemon/herbal preparation from the grill at the beach. Delicious. The beach is beautiful and the staff will make your day!

Excellent facilities and common areas. In addition to being in a privileged place Juntovacla Playa de Tulum has its own style, with Arab decoration in the style of the Berbers of the desert or the stories of the Thousand and One Nights. A marvel.
