BE Destination Tulum

We had such a great stay at Be Tulum. From check-in to the room to the overall atmosphere, everything just felt relaxing and special. The hotel has an amazing vibe, and the staff really made the experience even better.
We especially want to mention Guillermo, who took care of us on the beach during our stay. He was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming every single day. He always checked in on us, made sure we had everything we needed, and genuinely made us feel taken care of. Small things like that really make a difference when you’re on vacation, and Guillermo honestly made the trip that much better for us.
Would definitely come back and highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Tulum.

Incredible hotel! Our stay at Be Tulum was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The rooms were stunning—beautifully designed, spacious, and perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. The food was equally impressive, with every meal exceeding expectations in both quality and presentation.
What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional service. A special thank you to Navil and Aylin, who went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth and attention to detail really stood out.

We stayed at Be Tulum for our honeymoon and honestly it was exactly what we were hoping for.
The whole place just feels calm and intentional. It’s tucked into the jungle but still right by the beach, so you get this really cool mix of quiet, nature, and ocean all at once. It never felt crowded or chaotic, which was huge for us.
The rooms were beautiful. Super private, really well designed, and just felt like a place you actually want to spend time in, not just sleep. We had a plunge pool and ended up using it way more than we expected.
Service was amazing across the board. Navil, Aylin, and Raquel all went out of their way to make things easy and special for us. It never felt forced or over the top, just genuinely thoughtful and welcoming.
Food and drinks were great, the beach setup was perfect, and everything ran smoothly the whole time.
It’s definitely a splurge, but for something like a honeymoon it felt completely worth it. If you’re looking for something romantic, relaxing, and a little unique, this is it.

Our experience at Be Tulum was amazing. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, and the reception was very kind. Aylin & Fer helped us with restaurant reservations, tours, and exploring Tulum, making our stay extra special as we just got engaged. Our stay at Be Tulum was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is stunning, with beautiful rooms surrounded by jungle and beach. We loved the delicious breakfast at Marezia, enjoyed a very relaxing spa experience, and had an amazing dinner at Ocumare, offering excellent Mexican cuisine. Special thanks to Aylin & Fer for their outstanding concierge service — always friendly, professional, and attentive. They truly made our stay unforgettable.

Be Tulum was an exceptional stay from start to finish — I went there with my (now-fiancee) for our engagement. The service is impeccable, thoughtful, warm, and always proactive. The entire property has incredible vibes that feel both relaxed and refined, making it easy to settle in and fully unwind. The food is consistently delicious (try the rib eye tacos please).
What truly set the experience apart was our concierge, Raquel, who went above and beyond in every possible way — from bookings, making our day to day special, to even helping us find a hair straightener and going to the supermarket to buy one.

Be Tulum is located a 30m walk South of the main restaurant and bar area of South Tulum beach. It’s set in a gorgeous spot. Rooms are nice if in need of a refresh, staff are very friendly. The food is ok but the restaurants are not worth eating at. Drinks are very expensive.
Be warned though that on checkout the hotel charges a $130ish ‘service charge’ per night on checkout, and won’t explain what it’s for. So add that to the room rate you are paying. Personally, I find this a scam and will not return again.

Excellent service, food, and amenities/accommodations. However pricey. Cocktails were $400 pesos which is about 22-24$ USD at the time we went. They were nice and strong however.
Loved the rooftop pool that was so cool and the bathtub in room was also very nice. Rooftop pool had nice moving water and was very clean.
Water pressure and temperature was excellent and not really any bugs due to them having incense cauldrons along pathways and at night. Area was well lite but not too bright to annoy anyone trying to sleep.
Had a problem our 1st night with the pool recycling and draining but they fixed it easily.
Shoutout to Alfredo and Felipe from the club for excellent service and Johnny the pool guy for quick fix.
Ocumare their restaurant was also incredible with beautifully crafted cocktails and food which had Mayan roots. Served taught me some Mayan words as well like Sekkum and Malo Keem (excuse spelling)
Breakfast was also incredible with fresh fruit, bread, wellness shot, juice, coffee, and choice of delicious entrees. Well worth it! I suggest Taro bowl it was both my wife and I’s favorite after we tried 2-3 items each.
We did substitute lunches with tacos and snacks like toastados and Proscuitto we picked up from the GOmart and got a bottle of tequila and mixer to save some $$ but next time we will bring extra cash to splurge on food at the club.

Very happy with our stay and would go again. Very unique architecture and landscape. Rooms were clean. Service was great. Weather and beach over Christmas and New Years break was the perfect temperature. The music on the beach was loud one of the days but it stopped after 7pm so night time was fine.
The beach town was very quiet and we felt safe the whole time.

Beautiful hotel to stay at. The views were amazing and the people were what really made our stay the best. Especially the concierge Fer and Aylin who were beyond helpful with their help with reservations and recommendations. As well as there positive enthusiasm and great energy. They went above and beyond to make us enjoy our stay as much as we could. Another shout out to Nestor at the front desk who was as equally helpful. Overall perfect place to stay. Would highly recommend.

I just returned from another incredible stay at Be Tulum and it was every bit as exceptional as I remembered. We stayed in the Palm Suite with plunge pool and it was fantastic — beautifully designed, spacious, and the perfect balance of luxury and nature. The entire property is stunning, and the food and cocktails were consistently delicious from morning to night.
What truly sets Be Tulum apart, though, is the staff. Aylin and Fernanda handled every request with such care and intention — warm, attentive, and always one step ahead. The massages with Lourdes were outstanding and left us feeling completely renewed.
At the beach and the restaurant, Russel, Juan, and the entire team made sure we were always taken care of — great service, great energy, and cocktails that never stopped flowing. They also recommended a tour of Chichén Itzá with Gabriel, which ended up being another highlight of our trip.
This was my second time staying at Be Tulum, and I can say with confidence that it won’t be the last. The property, the food, the experience, and most importantly the people, make this place truly special. Highly recommend.

Beautiful resort, but disappointing policies, extreme pricing — please read before booking.
We truly enjoyed the property and the setting, but several issues left a negative impression and will affect our decision to return.
What we liked.
Stunning property and relaxing atmosphere.
Great overall vibe and service throughout the stay.
What needs serious improvement.
💧 Water policy.
Only 1.8L of water per day for two adults included.
Additional water is 200 pesos per 1L bottle, which feels unreasonable at a luxury resort.
Tip: Cross the street and buy a 5L bottle for 60 pesos instead — much more reasonable.
⏰ Late check-out fees.
USD $100 per hour for late check-out, even though the room was available.
This came across as a revenue tactic, not hospitality.
🍹 Drink pricing.
Cocktails priced 400–450 pesos + mandatory 16% gratuity.
Example: Moët & Chandon, worth about $60 USD retail, is 8, 000 pesos + 16% gratuity (around $550 USD) — about 8× normal price.
We didn’t see a single bottle ordered at the beach.
Business insight: If priced around 4, 000 pesos, we would have happily ordered one per day — more volume, happier guests, better revenue in the long term.
🌫 Humidity & possible mold.
Rooms were humid… I guess it is normal, it is beach front!
We suspect possible presence of mold, as I experienced a few time nose dripping and irritation, which stopped once we left.
If you are sensitive to mold, you should consider a resort with concrete floor etc, not wood made room.

The hotel is clean and well kept. Beach is always clean and beautiful, food is incredible although is a bit expensive but totally worth it! The atmosphere of the hotel reminds me of Maldives or wild jungle something you will struggle to find else where. Truly a retreat. Huge thank you to the staff and the concierge Aylin and Fer! They helped us book an amazing tour that was unforgettable. Always reaching out and asking if we required anything and offering amazing hospitality and advice for exploration or any other questions we had! Huge thank you to Ivan at the restaurant who is always there and on top of everything, anything we needed he did super fast and he also offered great advice around the city and is a very incredible person. So sad to be leaving but will definitely return in the near future to this small paradise with incredible people!

I booked the Air Suite and paid extra for a private plunge pool and in my requests I specifically said I wanted privacy and quiet. I arrived to the hotel and was led to a room that was directly on the street zero privacy, and a door that did not close so there was zero filtering of any noise from the street at all. I was told my stay would be compensated because of how awful it went, and I am currently still waiting for that refund. Otherwise, I will have to be opening up a bank dispute. I was able to book another room, despite being told that there was no availability of that room as I was trying to find a remedy that nobody else was trying to do because staff has an attitude and there was no management available because they quit at 5 PM and that’s it, so better hope you don’t have any issues. I was eventually moved to another air suite where construction was going on, so I never used the plunge pool. I was essentially locked inside of my room and flew home early because of how bad the entire experience was. It is false advertising to have people pay for inclusive breakfast, And then make them pay if they don’t want plain black coffee and eggs or bacon only. Be aware if you want a latte if you want a different breakfast, you’re going to be paying for that it’s not included, I know of no other hotels that have ever done this unless we want to talk about a Holiday Inn. Staff had an attitude. They didn’t seem to have access to any solutions or care for that matter.

Room. Amazing. We stayed in 28A and the room was a dream. Although when it rained the windows all leaked into the room. Pool. Amazing. The food isn’t great. Charged a lot of money for aperol spritz with no aperol and an order of fries came with like 9 fries on a plate. It was kind of wild. The breakfast was decent and since I’m gluten free they gave me corn tortillas instead of bread. Staff. Mediocre. Always had to specifically request the room to be cleaned which was annoying. I felt the concierge service was a bit slow to respond. Overall though the property is lovely and I really like the vibe. I would stay there again but would only eat there for breakfast.

Be Tulum has been the most incredible honeymoon location for my spouse and I. The staff is all so kind, eager to serve. Axel, Vicente, Alfredo, Javier, Raquel, and Jose, just to name a few. The rooms are beautiful and clean. Room service was quick. All of the food was delicious. The views are incredible. The beach is so clean. Great location on the resort strip. We have felt safe throughout the trip.
We rented a Vespa to go downtown with concierge’s help. The concierge team is kind and timely, helping us call a taxi when needed.
Would highly recommend Be Tulum.

We had a wonderful experience staying at B Tulum. The staff was truly amazing—always attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The food was excellent, with plenty of variety and fresh flavors. The overall vibe of the property is exactly what we were looking for: tranquil, relaxing, and beautifully connected to its natural surroundings.
This was our second time visiting, and it was every bit as special as the first. We would absolutely recommend B Tulum to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway, and we look forward to returning again in the future.
