This place is a diamond in a ruff, a true hidden gem. Me and my fiance went here for dinner because I looked the place on Tripadvisor for places with lobster. When we first arrived, NOONE was there. But once I got my drinks, and my food (Mariscada is the name), I didnt understand why no one was there. The service is amazing, the food is immaculate, the scenery is romantic. The decorations are vintage but well-kept. Im so lost for words. This place is just amazing! I even got another couple to join me and they really enjoyed their time and was grateful. 1 thing: CASH ONLY! I paid in Pesos and tipped in USD.

Food was delicious and they were so friendly and accommodating with our toddler. The service was wonderful! I can’t wait to return!

Rustic and great location. The staff are attentive and helpful, making sure that all is perfect. Special mention for the restaurant for the amazing food and staff (Justo & Jerardo — breakfast team, Cosmetic & Ramone — dinner team, and el capitaine — Jesus)!

Bad resort, never again in such a place, luckily the owner is Italian. Forbidden to use hair dryer, forbidden to throw toilet paper in the toilet, so I leave it to you to imagine, darn insufficient cleaning, the dirty bath, hot shower water only at certain times, so in the evening if you want to shower only cold, I got sick to because of these obligations, dirty towels, in short a real disappointment since I was also on my honeymoon. Poor breakfast and was in my reservation American coffee, 2 slices of bread and some jam, everything else for a fee, The only positive thing about the location and the kitchen, go out to take a dirt walk everywhere almost a favelas… I lasted two days. Too many, You'll never see me again.

Nice to enjoy relax and calm stay, I liked the ocean view cabins. I do not recommend the tropical cabins, those are far from the beach and lots of bugs. The breakfast is good enough and the Mexican coffee is delicious! Thanks to the staff they are so kind!

Go Your way! No interest other than the beach you can access without being a customer. Dilapidated Installations, no cold water, limited electricity, lies about benefits. There's better all around.

+ Great location on the beach with sea views, access to the sea but difficult by seaweed and hardly suitable for bathing by rocks in the water, centrally located, shops and many good restaurants and bars within walking distance-inattentive almost non-existent service, Included breakfast a joke, beach loungers dirty, zero comfort in the cabanas: No air conditioning, no TV, sweaty bedding is not changed. In the morning you are awakened by loud honking already against 6/7 for the first time. In the in-house restaurant, you try to rip people off. Always control the receipts. Instead of a shot tequila, the entire bottle is often billed.
Wlan virtually non-existent or Just rudimentary.
Price performance is not right here at 200€/night at all.

We stayed at the Hemingway April 2018. This was the 2nd part of our holiday after a 4 day stay in one of the larger resorts for a wedding, which could have been anywhere in the world. The Hemingway was Mexico to me, the beautiful beach and the jungle. We were lucky enough to stay in both sides of the resort, jungle cabanas and beach. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were great. The location was excellent Tulum town a short ride in a taxi. The locals were so helpful with suggestions of places to eat and every meal we had was excellent.

This was absolutely the best of our 4 hotels in Mexico! We really enjoyed our amazing a la cart breakfast, with everyday fresh orange juice and homemade cakes, at the beach! It was very quietly and just beatiful! we also liked the small, private bungalows. You should stay there if you want to go to tulum!

Bad value for money! Very noisy place between road noise and electricity generator groups! It's not worth it. It is called Hotel Eco loge, but the Echo means EcoNomic! So they save expenses but the price is still high for what it is!

So when they say garden view they stick you in the jungle across the street with traffic noise all night long very misleading and this has tarnished my whole stay as you don't get what is advertised. I was expecting Romantic beach in the trees like pictured. Rest of place beautiful, breakfast amazing. Just so disappointed in being stuck across the road not worth what I paid can't even sleep traffic all night long.

Had dinner here in a romantic settings. Nothing fancy rustic decor and carribean cabanas with the sound of the sea and good food to share. Services is excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by it all. Small venue. Very nice.

I give it 4.5 stars. The setup was magical, the waiter great and very knowledgeable of the area. The Seafood pasta was very good overall but I've had better shrimp. It's very inspiring for writing. I would go back!

Very nice staff and a resort to relax and eat well!

A very nice place and very friendly staff. The Cinzano had a color too yellow compared to the one we regularly buy at home. The octopus and fish that served us was burnt but they gave us a 15% discount and a dessert to make up for the mistake.

Nice cabañas. Breakfast is okay. Haven't tried what else the restaurant has to offer because it was extremely expensive. To stay overnight this is one of the cheaper places in the area, but still ridiculously expensive (100 USD/night during low season).

Ambience of total relaxation, good food, comfortable beds and good service… Oh! The little face fascinated me!

Amazing hotel, beautiful design and quiet. The staff is really nice. The restaurant is delicious, a little bit expensive, but the price are the same all over the place.

I was looking forward to rest and recharge and this little resort it was the perfect place to do so. A real tropical gem for whoever is looking to be away from the crowds and want to enjoy a cozy private cabana, directly on a sandy beach. The on site restaurant offers authentic and fabulous Italian food and friendly staff. It was hard to leave…

Just what you need, great staff good massage and close to the beach with a chic and relaxed feeling of being at someone's beach house.

Absolutely no courtesy for neighbors. So far 7-8 hours of thumping music being blasted across the beach, vs into their party, making it impossible for neighboring guests to relax or sleep. The speaker might as well be in my room nearby. So much for "peaceful"

I long to return to this place of quiet, calm retreat. Step out onto white sand breach right from your wonderful cool huts, into the hot morning sun. Their breakfast we raved about the entire week, but it was considered second to their legionary open 'Mongolian style' BBQ. These people know how to live. Come home refreshed, and with a new place to dream about.

We have been coming to this magical resort since 2008 and it's only gotten better. Paola and her staff are amazing and we couldn't ask for more on a vacation. The food is remarkable, the staff is friendly warm and welcoming and we always feel at home when there. If you are looking for a place to go with friends or a loved one, this is the place for you (sorry — no kids). Tell Paola I sent you! We love Hemingway and we will be back next year and beyond.
