It is a beautiful place with a beautiful beach the calm sea of warm water excellent service is eaten delicious super recommended since we made our this beautiful place whimsical of nature that God gives us.

Wow fabulous wind rose, delicious food, great beach, beach area staff some not quite very attentive maybe they were stressed. But overall very cool everything.

Excellent choice, excellent service from the always friendly and helpful staff and the owner who live with their guests, clean and sanitized rooms, beautiful landscapes and their paths, the wide palapas, I loved the décor, its green areas, the super clean beach, the food very varied and all very rich!
We'd be back as soon as we could!

Beautiful beach but that's it. Staff would acknowledge something was broken but never fix it. Wifi broken always, one woman crying because she couldn't do her work, I was leeching Wi-Fi outside restaurant in middle of night just to send an important email. Beach is great but not worth it.

Beautiful complex, fantastic beach. We did not stay in the hotel but are almost every day to the Beach Club because it is simply the most beautiful in the area. Staff very nice and there is a parking lot. Also the restaurant is highly recommended!

Very chill and relaxed resort. It's small, not crowded and the staff is very welcoming. We especially enjoyed stargazing into the night on the private beach!

Lovely beachfront hotel and restaurant. We've stayed here multiple times and will return. Service on the beach and the restaurant are great. Restaurant is mostly Italian, but there's also a lot a seafood options — — grilled whole fish was fantastic.

This place was amazing and off the beaten path… if you're looking for a place to recharge and unplug then this is the place to be! Staff was amazing and the fact that breakfast is included is a great bonus! My only issue was the bathroom it's kind of a weird design the toilet and shower are in one room and the sink is in another which is common in hotels however the shower is one big long concrete shower with really no cover, there's just one piece of glass that covers a small portion of the shower no other door and no curtain.

A little corner of paradise, simply beautiful. Not expensive and service was excellent. Will definitely revisit.

Over priced, bad customer service, rooms not as nice as in the pictures. This is the type of hotel that at one point in the past was good and up to the standards of a 4stars, now it is not even the shadow of a 3 stars. You will loose the hip hippie trendy vibe that you getnin tulum if you stay in this hotel. Eg of 4* quality — they give you the welcome drink during check in, you don't have to go the restaurant to order it yourself (operations issue) ; Little pool at the entrance of the cabins/villa/ room, empty without water to clean your feet before entering the room (lack of attention to detail) ; Not protection for the customer against the mosquitos (remember you are in the jungle, lots of mosquitos) other true 4 * burn a natural was that makes the mosquitos go away, that detail is fundamental and shows that the ownership cares about their customer and not use them as cash cows. Check in: Not welcoming, almost rude Bikes: surcharge (understandable) but not enough for all the guests in the hotel. Breakfast: Nice omelettes and that's it. Lack of pastries and nothing out of this world. I wouldnt sacrifise the breakfast from another hotel to "try out" this one. Beach towels: system where you have to surrender your card to get a towel (trust issues: I'm not here to steal a beach towel) Bed: the comfort of the beds was the best. My recommendation If you come to Tulum: No Rosa del viento, taxes are not included in the price and they charge in Usd and not MxN.

I was in Tulum for a wedding and we all stayed at Rosa del Viendo and had a fantastic time. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and fun, the rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the beach was awesome. I would go back in a minute. Loved it! Relaxed low-key atmosphere.

I visited the beach club and it was very nice, the sea as always in the Caribbean is a beauty, we catered very well at the club and the truth is that the price I found very well considering you are facing the sea and enjoying a real paradise. The hotel sees that it is very father but. Don't stayed me, I only know the beach club.

I’ve been to several beach clubs in Tulum and in a lot of them, because I don’t look foreigner and because I don’t pay or tip in dollars but pesos, i’ve been discriminated, however, Rosa del Viento welcomes everyone and treats everyone the same. Their beach is clean, beautiful and private. Their cuisine is excellent and different. Great for families, couples or anyone looking for a calm, quiet resort or just a day at the beach.

I did not stay at the property but I was a guest of the restaurant. Very good food, great cocktails and very friendly and helpful staff. Even the view is not bad at all. Recommended also for value for money.

We only used the beach club, but we fell in love with the place. Came back every day since we discovered the beach club. If you spend 400 pesos on food/drinks per person, you can use the sunbeds and umbrellas etc. The hotel is on the end of the strip with hotels, located at the beach front. Theres quite some rooms, most of them facing the garden with Palm trees and hammocks. The beach front ones, obviously, are the most beautifully located. Food from the restaurant is ok priced. Service quick and friendly. The mixed ceviche, tostados de cameron and guacamole are delicious starters. The fish platter for 2 is very reasonably priced and is enough to feed 4 actually. Expect lobster, shrimps, octopus, squid and a whole grilled fish. The pizzas are surprisingly good as well, all of them with a very thin crust. Highly recommended.

I believe this hotel / resort has a very unique niche. The location and vibe of the Tulum area is quite excellent. It reminds me of Montezuma, Costa Rica only bigger with more to do and more restaurants. This place is away from the hotel tourist traps of Playa and Cancun. It was quite refreshing actually. Not many Americans at least on our visit. It was really fun. The staff was excellent. I knew about 5 words in Spanish before we arrived but today I now know maybe like 7. Progress! Anyway… Don't expect to be astonished by the rooms. They were fairly basic but with an elegant touch. No TV's. Loved it because it just fit the vibe. Some reviews said the shower was salty. I didn't drink the shower water so don't know… LOL. The AC was excellent and the shower was just fine. They provide filtered water to brush your teeth and stuff. The beach is remarkable especially if you like sand bottoms and a shallow coast so a great place for kids I would imagine. Also, wonderful views in many ways. We went for a small wedding and it was lovely and well organized. Very quaint and fun. We felt safe 100% all the time. If you are looking for transportation from Cancun, I suggest taking Canada transfers. We pre-requested champagne and beers it was very reasonably priced even for their black SUV service with 4 people. The ride, depending on the time, is roughly 2 hours give or take from CUN. In conclusion, If you like a little Hippie resort town experience, this is the place to go.

Everything about this place is hit or miss. Depending on the circumstances (skin color, appearances, disabilities) you could have a great experience or a disheartening one. The guards at the entrance have let me pass through but have also given me lots of issues about entering (even following behind me to see if I'd actually dine at the restaurant. ) Most notably, when going to the beach with people of colour or anyone who looks alternative we have been searched, denied entrance or intensely questioned about why we were coming to Rosa Del Viento. I've dined here various times over the last few years, ordering the same meals and drinks every time. The dishes change in quality each time. The service can be attentive or negligent. While the staff is kind and friendly, the management is rude and abrasive. One manager raised his voice at me while dining with my cat on beachfront and another told me I was not welcome with my service animal and was asked to leave. That said this place is off limits from now on.

Great place, exceptional view, right in the beach. One of few places around allowing children, they were very nice to provide a crib. There are some toys available to use on beach, but not much more in terms of kids friendliness. Free breakfast includes some local fruits, yogurt, granola, some bread and jam and coffee. Not much. But they have menu with great smoothies and other food with some focus on pasta.

We used the beach Club for a day. The minimum submission is Mx 300 so it is very accessible and the prices are very good. Super Recommended!

Very small plant. Nice little stretch of beach. About 200 meters of rooms very Spartan/no clean water for brushing your teeth, no refrigerator, no TV.
What annoys me the most: Construction site on the side house and the prices!
You will be informed at breakfast that this is in the price but they like to take tips (also on Rechnung/ZimmerNr. ). : (. In every travel guide it says that the tips are in the prices!

In MX City, Puebla, Oxaca. We got to know a very different Mexico. Pleasantly friendly, top accommodations… Yucatan-doesn't necessarily have to be.

Perfect spot on a beautiful long beach. Simple but lovely rooms. Friendly staff and peaceful grounds. Just magical.

Nice meal quickly served. Children commented about the dog's mess on their fronting beach.

The most beautiful place near Tulum! If you are looking for a quiet place. Here is the right place. Ecological because there is no swimming pool. But you have the wonderful sea just in front. The breakfast is included! Just 15 minutes by car from Tulum.

Forget about breakfast … you can call it a "snak"… The roon are poor and small for the price you pay… like a Choosha in Dahab Sinai.

This is the perfect place for the price to stay in Tulum. The staff is exceptionally friendly and accommodating, the food is beyond delicious and the facility is quintessential Tulum. It's clean, air conditioned and spacious. The beach is beautiful with plenty of comfortable lounge chairs and people cleaning the seaweed daily. I stayed with 9 girls for my bachelorette party over labor day weekend and we were so impressed by the facility, food, service and staff. The manager brought us two bottles of complimentary champagne just because I'm getting married. I would recommend this place to anyone and want to go back as soon as I can.

Tulum is a niche place at the Mayan Riviera region. You can enjoy the wild nature and the magnificent Caribbean Ocean. Rosa del Viento offers a particular front beach experience. Great food and a romantic ambiance!. Expect to pay more than in Playa del Carmen.

At Rosa del Viento, the staff was super friendly, the beach was incredible, the rooms nice and big, and the food excellent. The place is environmentally friendly (like using salted water for showers) and overall, I would definitely recommend it to a friend.

The location and staff here were incredible. This is the last resort on the road before the preserve but it makes the beach less crowded. And the resort rents bikes out for about 5 bucks so you can bike. 5 miles to the cute little shopping and eating areas. Loved our time here! Ask for Manuel, he's the best!

Very clean and beautiful rooms. Lots og space and good air conditioning. The staff speaks good English and they are very friendly. All in all perfect service and a great vacation experience!

Lovely little hotel in Tulum. Restaurant waiters are very friendly. Maid service a touch inconsistent. One day the rooms are fab, the next not so good.

All of the hotels around here like the Eco tag, which means it's filtered sea water in the shower. For the rest a nice stay, friendly staff, very general food menu and amazing beach. Wifi is very limited, plus being here without own transportation is a limiting factor. I'd call it barebones but adequate.

What a joy to find places like this one in Tulum. Every year we go back to Tulum and experience a new hotel, but I think next time we're going back to Rosa del Viento. Rooms are perfect size, all amenities including A/C. Restaurant has a very extensive and fresh menu, try catch of the day. Drinks and food on the beach were perfect and staff was super friendly. This is really a great hotel — very quite; nice beach; great food.

Beautiful beach, cool bartenders that will bring you drinks in coconut shells on said beach, super relaxed environment at the quiet end of the strip. Rooms are big and nice.

The Restaurant was a very beautiful, magic place now the changed it, you can't see the ocean anymore at least your are sitting right on the window, and it lost his charm completely,, food is good but very expensive.
