We choose Tulum as our honeymoon destination! We got a great deal on Expedia with this hotel. It was absolutely charming! It was a great boutique hotel find! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was great! It was clean and quiet. The bikes that come with the hotel were great to ride to the ruins and strip to eat. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone!

Nice place. Friendly staff. Pool is great. Amenities and rooms are average. Maybe just a bit over priced for what it is, but no real complaints. Bikes were great to borrow but quite used and could use some maintenance. Good breakfast. Love the kittens that live by the pool.

Having stayed at a lot of hotels/hostels during my trip around Mexico I can say that walking into my room at LiveTulum was such a gift! Air con, separate bedroom area, balcony, kitchen area (with a full sized fridge) nice spacious bathroom. Breakfast each morning has a great selection, the pool is a good size and the location is right in Tulum Town so perfect for getting to and from the local bars and restaurants. You can easily walk from the bus terminal too. Recommend!

Greate experience, little noise in the back but the hotel make ot up for it. Family oriented, great service. The rooms are spacious and super clean, full kitchen and nice eating area and beds, bikes, Wi-Fi and breakfast. AC strong.

Breakfast was good, but very consistent (fresh juice and the normal beverages, rice, beans, eggs, something remenicient of hot dogs in a tomato sauce, fresh fruit, pancakes and pastries). Room was clean, with a very strong scented cleaner, or possibly bug repellent, by the door. There's a gap at the bottom of the door, so bugs can get it, but none did, maybe because of the'cleaner'. Shower pressure was very low so we twisted one of our snorkeling masks around the shower head so the water went into it then followed over in a big stream so we could actually get the soap out of our hair. The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating, storing our luggage for us when we arrived before check in, giving tips on where to go, and adjusting the bicycle seat for us. Pool was nice, location is good, and price was right. I would happily return.

Excellent location, super friendly staff very attentive at all! The only bad thing are the beds very small (matrimonial) and sink so you sleep badly at night, a suggestion would be to renew the mattresses.

May 2018 construction, construction, construction. The lot next door is being jack hammered all day, starting at 8 am and not ending until 7 pm. Our entire room is shaking and echoing the jackhammer. Forget "relaxing" at the pool. I highly recommend staying somewhere else. Livetulum is adorable, and at another time I'm sure we would love it, but currently regretting our decision to stay here.

This hotel is amazing! We were there for 7 days and we kept wishing for more time we truly felt at home. The staff was so attentive and we got fresh sheets and towels as well as a clean room every single day! One day my husband wasn’t feeling good and the staff was genuinely asking about his well being throughout the day. Truly an amazing hotel and staff a few things for the savvy traveler the hotel is literally 3 min away from the center of Tulum so if you like to explore and eat out this is a great place for you although the breakfast they serve at livetulum everymorning is awesome! The ruins and playa pescadores are about 12 min bike ride from the hotel or a 200 peso taxi ride round trip. You can rent a bike in the hotel you just have to leave a deposit that you will be returned before you leave. We did experience some street noise from the road next to the hotel but it wasn’t anything extreme or bothersome. The cleaning staff will be in your room for about 30 min or so try to plan to be out of your room or in the pool while they make your place look and smell amazing everyday! You can also refuse the service if you don’t want to. Bring cash to the breakfast kitchen to tip the staff that kindly will serve you as well as the cleaning staff everyday or at the end of your stay. Seriously get off the resorts and come to LiveTulum you will not regret your stay! We are already planning our return.

This hotel is incredible we got fresh towels and sheets everyday. They cleaned our room everyday we were there, the breakfast was amazing and the staff was so attentive we are already planning our return to this beautiful place! We stayed there for 7 days and we kept wishing for more we truly felt at home!

Never stayed here but was conviced to book a couple nights. I have called the hotel 3 days in a row no answer or any type of Communication. Kind of scary to book a vacation with a hotel that is in another country who doesnt have a working phone or answer.

This little gem was perfect for our seven day vacation. The hotel is beautiful and very quiet. Free breakfast every morning. Housekeeping is amazing. Not a spec of dust or mess anywhere within the hotel. The people are friendly, helpful and speak both Spanish and English. Everything within Tulum is walking distance or a bike ride away (we recommend biking). Thank you Live Tulum for your excellent service.

Cozy hotel with friendly staff. Bikes for free use. Normally if they are available they'll be locked out front. Handy to get around Tulum. Design and colors excellent. Kitchen had everything even a gas stove. Clean bathrooms. Balcony was spacious enough compared to other hotels. Decent location with a small store nearby. I didn't have time to eat the breakfast. Pool area looked clean and stylish. I noticed they were playing a movie on a projector by the pool until 8 — 8:30 PM.

There are many wonderful things about this hotel, I think it's the collection of personal touches that make this place very special. The smooth stone surfaces, the references to Frida and Diego. The gorgeous pool with movies playing at night on a giant projector. The staff are super friendly and helpful. And lest us not forget the jellybean jar that remains full for everyone to indulge in! The location is great and with the bicycles provided during your stay, the beach is a mere 10 minutes away. I would 100% recommend this pretty, boutique hotel and should I return to Tulum, it's such a gorgeous place, this is where I'd book in again. Simone, London, U. K.

This place was fabulous! I LOVED all the staff. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and I felt very safe there. This place is charming and even magical. Totally recommend this hotel if you are staying in Tulum. I suggest printing directions from the airport to the hotel before to leave your home. This hotel is not as well known and we had a hard time finding it with no GPS.

We went to Mexico for our honeymoon and stayed in this lovely hotel. The staff couldn't have been more helpful, wonderful pool, we stayed in a swim up hotel suite with kitchen and it was amazing. Would definitely recommend and would stay again. X.
