Friendly, Attentive Hotel Beach Staff. Willie is bilingual and the superstar. Co workers are great too. Worth paying 100 pesos (or what you negotiate) and reserve lawn chairs out front on their beach front for the day. If you are not a rude moron, they allow you to run a tab for food and beverages (pay at the end of the same day is the stipulation. Safe and sensible so you dont need to bring cash down to beach or run back and forth to your room.

It is a small hotel, right now by the sargasso you can not get to the beach but very close to all the gentleman who attends 10 to 11 excellent very friendly.

Found this hotel in Priceline listed as a 4 star hotel. In reality this hotel does not even deserve 1 star, our room was dirty and uncomfortable, hotel is extremely dated and does not have elevator! Unable to get a refund we checked out and found another hotel. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this hotel, I don't wish upon anyone to have the horrible experience we had.

Very cool resort had the chance to get there and outside the beach it's awesome.

I do not recommend this season why I found this is called Twillo all over the beach, but if you plan to visit Playa del Carmen to go to Xcaret, Xpore. Is a good choice.

I Stayed in May and did not serve the pool or the whirlpool tub, the menu is insufficient, no variety of food and drinks, the toilet girl did not wash the bathroom more than twice in 5 days I was there, did not serve the ceiling fan, at the time of checking out we made a charge for not having left the room at an hour that I was never told to leave the charge was made without informing me that would be done, they also charge for lending the towels for the beach, towels that were also broken…
The staff is unfriendly and even rude.
I will Not stay there again!

Very central Hotel, it is small, a few steps from the beach and we touched the pool in remodeling. It is inside the prices of the place, nothing extraordinary could improve much in property of the room and its distribution.

Ordinary, the attitude of the staff Despota except Mr. Pedro, comfortable beds, and many cockroaches and that there is only a microwave and a minirefri, the pool I could not enjoy as it was in remodeling and not notify to the guest, breakfast is a mockery, price of the Bunk beds an abuse.

A hotel Pesimo in everything, the pool completely unserved empty, never served the climate of the room, the cleanliness of the room is lousy and that they charge to part. In general the facilities were very sloppy. I would never go back or recommend it.

The room was nice and the breakfast was good. To my liking should be like most hotels, that you can serve yourself what you want.

They didn't have tea for breakfast. We ordered hot water to make us a tea and they responded that they did not have hot water. When we arrived we had to go to buy an atmosphere deodorant because we did not tolerate the smell in the room… Not a hotel to recommend.

Good location, great view to the sea. Price I agreed to the facilities. The attention is fine. It is recommended! To not spend much and be close to everything!

It is the third time I have to stay and the last time I found a very bad service and gives you a little sadness because the local people who serve is the worst treats you and the foreigners who work there are those who have a good deal and I think people Local is the one that should put the example in the service they offer, I consider it to be a good hotel and I would not have to stop going for the bad treatment they give at present, besides that their prices are very accessible.

Family owned Mexican Motel. Free toast, orange juice, and coffee in the morning. Right on the beach and a block from 5th Avenue. Affordable prices. We'll be back!

It is cheap, central and is located at the edge of the Sea and D 5 Avenue.

Very good location, good value for money The only downside is that it has no parking and more varied menu in the restaurant.

Beach is nice and clean. Even Wi-Fi reach out there but the internet connection are BAD up and down al time.

Well, but they lack a person who is in front of all areas, as some employees do not serve well, that takes away a friendly and cozy atmosphere.

The hotel is near the Quintana Avenue, sleeping is great, this close to the ferry, has some beach, not expensive but not cheap either.
The pool is lousy, there is a supposed jacuzzi that is fatal, there are no lounge chairs in the pool area and the beach towels are given with a deposit, the beach beds are available only six which is bastard to touch you one.
If you just want to sleep, be close to Fifth Avenue and listen to the sea, it's great.

Rooms clean, attendant excelent, services good, eat very good.

If you only use it to sleep only is good option so it is the price so small, it is very outdated and lacks maintenance, but if you want an all inclusive hotel I recommend you look for another. All day I was visiting places I just occupied the hotel for sleeping, bathing and nothing else.

Great place to stay for 2 or 3 nights. Has everything you need. Close to 5th Ave shopping, bars, Taquerias, restaurants and night life. Also access to the beach with it's own bar and restaurant.

Good option for holidays where you will hardly be in the hotel. Nice, clean, comfortable facilities. The service on the beach is not good as the waiter who attended me included the account tip and was more than 20% of what he consumed. The Hotel the good but beware of the service on the beach.

Lousy, the hotel is terrible at maintenance, very poor attention, the attitude is definitely what makes up for anything in the service and they lose it. The pool is dirty, the bathrooms are full of mold. Although I am in the beach area I do not recommend it and still ask you to deposit for the pool towels. What is not a room service having towels? An image says it all. And it's not rustic, it's the wrong thing to do.

It is a basic hotel overlooking the sea, has the essential to visit Playa del Carmen. Could get better. The heat is unbearable and its air conditioner doesn't work at all well. In the adjoining room they told me that they didn't even work, it gave hot air.

It is functional for what is required if working is spoken and comfort to feel that the stay is adequate, the attention of the place is the best.

Not what you sell … it is a two star hotel on the seashore, on a beach that does not smell good, a service that leaves a lot to be desired, facilities that make you sad. Better not try breakfast. If you are travelling between friends and the hotel is just to sleep you will love it.

Yes what you're looking for is just spending the night, it's fine. But breakfast is coffee, juice and a horrible toasted bread.
The staff shines by their absence, the pool very small, generally neglected the hotel … their beds are horribleeeeees and parasols broken!

It is a suitable option because it is located on the famous 5th Avenue. The breakfast in the restaurant has variety of food. However the noise both because of its proximity to this place as the little control to the customers who arrive drunk interrupts much sleep.

This is one of the best location in playa del Carmen, no though about it. You have everything so closed to you. Clubs, the beach are near you and the 5th ave. The room are okay but the shower are nasty you turn the shower on and salt water would come out. I went with more then 30 people and they got the same problems at their rooms. The "manager" is an assh**e I know Spanish perfectly. If you go make sure you take the package of the free buffet because one you go they charger you plus 200$ per person once you are there.

Cheap hotel, cheap services. Pool is small, bore and water is cold as ice. We only use it once. Beds and pillows very uncomfortable. Wi-Fi is slow, very slow and you can only use the code on one device/single device while you're here. The 4G on my cellphone is way faster. Great location though.

The hotel is very nice with a view and service is amazing. Their food is the best of the place with the buffet.

Great location, between the 5th ave (this is the touristic main street) and the 10th ave where the Banks are located and the super markets arent far away. Good service, they speek well English. The brackfast and the rooms are not that special but they are okay.

If you are looking for a central hotel with beach nearby, this is a good option. The rooms are OK if one not looking for luxury, only that if would be nice if they change the TVs to a slightly larger and still more new furniture. From there on out everything very well. It is just a short walk from the pier and the ADO.

The noise which produce the ferry's is heard from 05:00 am each to refugees or leave from the port.
The hotel conditions as the one step either, the pool is very small and this dirty, is shared with the hotel across the street.
Does not have private parking, for which you should consider a fee of 150 pesos per day in the parking lot more close.
Do not have a private beach, since it shares with the beach published.
It is very expensive for what it offers, if you can find one better.
There are many in the 5th Avenue and best.
The photos presented are a clear photoshop. It has no elevators, hopefully you do not touch the room from the top floor.

Poor facilities, all charge you is very old and neglected and not wash bedspreads.

The furniture is broken and old, the locks of the doors become jammed and are broken, the air conditioning barely works, the service is lousy, you charge the lounge chairs.

An excellent hotel to rest.

The hotel is very simple and lack them maintenance guy, its old facilities, but clean. The location is unbeatable and the beach is beautiful. Everything is very close to this hotel. If you only want to bathe and sleep okay, it rests very well.

Watch for hidden costs @ the restaurant (coco feliz). Ask for the cost before ordering. I ordered 2 beers, for 70 pesos. I also asked for 2 cups with lemon and salt. When I got the bill, they charged me the same for the cups as the beer. Totaling 140 pesos. Beware.
