Ocean Dream fits the title! Not only was it dreamy but it is a much more private hotel compared to the other ones. There is a high level of security, all guests must wear a band indentifying as a guest.

The beach is very dirty and they let time to clean it : (but from there on they have excellent service, view.

First time I visit you and be very surprised by the good taste in your décor and the excellent treatment by your staff. Although I was very short time I can say that it is a hotel with a great future if they continue to work like this. It is also in a great location just a few steps from the Cancun party done.

Great place to be in Cancun (snake nest in mayan language), the breakfast great to eat before the tours, nice sunrise view, near to the bars & clubs zone (walking distance), the pool was great, specially at night with the canging colors lights,

Great location very close to night life scene and markets. Staff was generally helpful. Ocean dream doesn't have umbrellas and chairs on the beach but if you talk with the employee setting up the umbrellas of a neighboring hotel they'll set one up for you for a fee. We paid just under $10 for the day. Worst thing about Ocean Dream is it is an aging hotel so many repairs are being made but the good thing is they are being made.

Stayed in one of the condos through Airbnb so I can't speak to the hotel rooms, but my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The pools were awesome, I loved the swim-up bar (apart from the fact that it's in the shade so a bit chilly after 3pm or so). Raul took good care of us poolside, bringing drinks and snacks to order. The hotel restaurant is pretty nice, we ate breakfast there once and mostly enjoyed it. (The "sausage" is hotdogs, FYI) Security was top notch, so always felt safe. Everything was kept very clean and the staff were always friendly. The location was perfect: walking distance to everything in the hotel zone but not too loud. I'd definitely stay here again if I come back to Cancun!

It is a hotel in which fits small but very cozy, clean, very good price and attention. Very good food, beach and clean pools. It is a very quiet place and is located 100 meters from the nightlife. That's great!

Plant has come a little in the years. Since there are also many private owners living there is more of a residential complex. No hotel character. We had booked a sea view room and asked to book a room on the upper floors two weeks before departure. As we pointed out at the check in once again one had indeed the audacity to give us a room on the ground floor without even mentioning it at all. The bigger our surprise was when we got there. Of course we immediately went back to the reception and complained. We were told that it was supposedly the last room. After we had not let loose, after a long time we were given a room on the 4th floor with at least a partial sea view. They looked through two walls and had a view of a dump on the left. Of course, we continued to have our displeasure at the front desk, but nobody was interested. Although we pointed out that we have booked for 10 days and yet would like to have a corresponding outlook for us. Wished for a long time, we were no longer opposed. We were told that we could try it again for the next few days. As I got acquainted with local customs on the same day, I tried my luck again the next morning at the reception. This time I had a 20 dollar note in my hand. At one time everything was made possible and we got a new room with wonderful views. There are a lot of security guards that are careful not to allow unauthorized persons to enter the facility. Unfortunately, they are also careful to comply with arbitrary rules.

The best location in the hotel area. Excellent price/quality ratio. Very friendly staff and rooms with kitchen and items to make your own meals in case you don't want to spend so much outside.

One of the best experiences I had traveling was staying at Ocean dream. The staff was so incredibly nice and hospitable. They always wanted to make sure that me and my group we’re getting everything we needed. When we did need something, they wasted no time to help us. The rooms were lovely and clean every day, and poor service was also amazing. I would stay here again the next time I came :)

Great beach location, close to the party and restaurant zone. Class pools and whirlpool. Very clean and all the staff are very friendly! Margarita 120 MXP so a little expensive! We had a large room with a very large bed and a view of the lagoon. And balcony! Everything very pleasant. For the Zona Hotelera the price is good. Unfortunately we had very noisy neighbors. In the building are also condominiums, which are partially rented out. From the drain in the bathroom it smelled…

Nice hotel, quiet, nice rooms, good location on the beach and night life.

Good beach location and close to the strip with nice infinity pool. Small Pool Bar.
A little bit. Especially in windy weather — no umbrellas — it becomes difficult with shady squares. Very bright, but nice and clean rooms with balcony!. Also the traffic noise in front of the hotel is latent Vohanden. If you are not looking for a quiet hotel and do not Nraucht hotel bar in the evening, you are in good hands.

I wouldn’t ever stay here again the electricity went out in our room twice it was terrible. Couldn’t really communicate with anyone whose working there I would think they would know little bit of English sense there’s so many tourists that stay there. The beds were full size which is interesting I would think it would be a queen or king. The only reason I rate this a 2 and not a one is because the view to the beach was amazing.

Not a bad location, new enough, big, clean rooms. We had a nice view of the sea. There are pools, a pool bar. The cleaning in the room is good. The 4-star score was set because they asked for a 1big bed and wrote about it on Buckingham, but gave two and a half bedrooms. And there were small ants in the room. Of the two elevators, on the second day of our settlement, there was only one left. Sometimes I had to wait a long time.
The entrance to the territory is only on bracelets, which put on hand, as in hotels with packages.
But it's not bad at all.

I went to the condos and was a little sloppy and dirty. It's small, but it's straight to the sea. It's better the hotel.

Beautiful place, very good attention of the staff you solve any inconvenience at the time, so if you lack utensils for the kitchen and the tennis court is used for parking, would need even a small gym for me taste.

DON'T STAY HERE! I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago and had a good experience so when I returned to Cancun for my honeymoon and needed a place to stay for 1 night, I thought this hotel would be perfect for the price and familiar. We checked in early and our room wasn't ready, which was expected so we left to spend the day at Isla Mujeres. When we returned we interacted with a female employee who could not be more cold and unwelcoming. We walked to our room and as we stood outside getting ready to unlock the door we could hear a group of guests in the adjacent room speaking and yelling loudly. I returned to the front desk and my husband stayed behind. I explained to the female employee that I wanted a different room because I didn't want to have to deal with noisy neighbors. She stated the hotel was full and then proceeded to radio an employee to go check on the room. I replied that I had been here before and returned and to please give me another room. I also explained I didn't want her asking the neighbors to be quiet, because it would be obvious to them it was us complaining and I didn't want to risk having the same problem occur later that night. My husband later told me the employee she radioed went to OUR room and knocked on the door repeatedly. (A+ for efficiency). We were given another room and when we walked into that one, we found that there was no electricity. I returned to the front desk again and asked for the manager.

Excellent place. Very good view and very good attention.

Great Hotel with apartments. We lived in 2 storey Pnhaus-on the ground floor a huge living room, on the second-two bedrooms with lovely comfortable beds. Good Plumbing and kitchen, though with a very scarce set of kitchen utensils. Very Poor cleaning-forgot to put clean towels, remained typed, dusty pieces of floor and so on. Beautiful view of the ocean. In General you can recommend to stay. I liked the Location too.

I stayed here with in a private rental as this property is mixed hotel and private residences. I presume rooms have a similar set up and mine was great with a great kitchen area. There is a huge balcony, ours overlooked the lagoon which is a pretty view and gets the sun later in the day and you can watch the sun set. It's in a great spot, close to amenities and a fab supermarket. The infinity pool is lovely and we never had a problem getting a lounger, the beach right outside was also lovely and quiet. It's a shame the new second pool with swim up bar wasn't finished but that can't be helped. We ate the buffet breakfast once which was 15 usd and although nice was a little on the cold side. Would I stay here again, yes. Is it luxury, no but it's a good solid economical choice with good location.

Beautiful Ocean view. The room, although modernized, lacks many modern conveniences that Americans are accustomed to. Hotel does not provide, nor has much knowledge of local tourist locations and/or points of interest. They are however, very polite. Cleanliness is definitely lacking.

Watch out for them! Few mins after 12.00 at the reception and they'll charge you for the so-called late check out! Our stay in Mexico was perfect till that moment — beautiful views, nice people, phenomenal adventures. And this hotel — last one of 4 that we've stayed in — ruined this great vibe, arguing to charge us addituonal USD 10, and (by force! ) not allowing us to leave the place until we pay. We were their hostages (literally; we have it recorded on mobile), same as other guests who showed at the reception just a little bit later than 12.00. First time this kind of NIGHTMARE happened to both me and my partner (and we travel pretty much, once per month on average), as from what we saw also to many others!

Our favorite thing about staying here is definitely the view of the pool over the ocean and how wonderful the massage Spa is. Paola was great! She has a great energy and offers all types of massage for a reasonable price. With the ocean sounds in the background, it was an awesome experience.

We loved the hotel! It wasn’t expensive and offered spacious, clean rooms with amazing 360 view. It offers nice sandy beach with turquoise waters. Cons: — the only negative is the 15:00 check-in time which is normal for this part of the world.

Great location right on beach. Close to the best restaurants and night clubs. Heart of the hotel zone, very safe. Great infinity pool overlooking the ocean. Recently renovated and upgraded.

Rooms were delivered as promised. They were clean and had a balcony with a great view of the ocean. The built in kitchen came in very handy too. Also, the staff was very friendly. Great location too within walking distance to nightclubs, shopping, and restaurants.

The hotel was okay. It need a lot of remodeling both outside and inside the rooms. It was expected for what we paid. The view from the room was amazing and they have helpful staff. The location is great since it is very close to the night clubs. The food from the restaurant was delicious, specially the green juice.

Com Booked a room on here and they had the cheapest rates around… Stayed in condo 103 which was booked through air B&B. Brilliant space with everything we needed. Would recommend this anyone looking for a clean place with great amenities which is practically on the beach and within 5 minutes walking of coco bongos etc. 2 pool within the complex which are free to use. Sunbeds are hard to get so make sure you are down early in the morning. The hotel has a restaurant which you can pay for breakfast at — be warned though the prices are ridiculously high compared to other places around and I would recommend going elsewhere. Condo 5 star +.

Me and my new husband went there for our honeymoon. There was construction and a lot of ghetto ppl staying there blasting music from their rooms making a bunch of noise and all loud. But other than that the room was clean, the staff was so nice even the bell boy he was always there and super nice. I loved the pool and the bartender always hooked us up with drinks. The food in the restaurant in the 1st floor was delicious. We enjoyed our stay! They should control their guest when they are that annoying and loud. Thats the only complain is the guest are GHETTTOOOO FABULOUS.
