I spent few days with my daughter and my oh my We didn’t expect such an amazing hotel. The staff was extremely nice and welcoming food and drinks always fresh and delicious. Our room was nice with a gorgeous view and easy beach access. A particular thank you to the entertainment team Rodrigo, Benjamin and amazing Victor got us involved with the activities, these 3 young men are gifted. Life guards always present and available. Will def be back soon!

Nyx Cancun was absolutely amazing. The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were spacious, the view was gorgeous, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff were all welcoming and made our stay great. We were grateful to be able to meet Misael. Misael made our stay absolutely exceptional. He was friendly and it honestly felt as if he was family. We will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved this place but there were a couple things that disappointed me. If you do not pay for "All Inclusive", they won't allow you in the breakfast area for a decent cup of coffee and a muffin or anything, room service does not serve breakfast. Also, there is no microwave in the rooms and they do not allow you to bring your own food to eat in your room. Weird, right? I have to say though, the staff, especially the housekeepers are fantastic!

We came to Hotel NYX to celebrate my birthday and we loved every second of it. The staff made my birthday so special. Our room was beautiful and clean. The food and being next to the ocean was amazing. I’ve traveled a lot and this by far has been one my favorite places to stay.

So far no complaints. Beach is amazing. Food is amazing. Drinks are amazing.

I've been to variety of resorts and when traveling its through carnival cruise lines. My experience with NYX Cancun hotel has been an excellent 7 day experience. All of the staff are super professional and helpful, super friendly and they go far and beyond to make sure your stay in this resort stays memorable. Live music at the lobby by the bar. Cabana service is excellent. All restaurants and buffet throughout the day is clean, fresh and enjoyable. Safe during these 2021 times. They follow professional protocol at all times. My favorite staff and I will return hoping to see them again. Bartender (Giovani), Restaurant waitress super professional and friendly (Evely), at front the hostess staff are great! Super helpful for just about anything such as getting around Cancun. My favorite host (Honorio). All staff at Cabanas will take care of you (Luis) excellent service! Gracias.

They had the best customer service I have ever experience! They are so welcoming, helpful, and go above and beyond to make your stay the best. Shout out to our girl Evelyn (waitress) and Luis. They made sure we didn’t need anything. Jose at the Umami restaurant did an amazing show and the food was excellent. I will definitely come back without a doubt. Thanks to all the NYX staff for the experience. ¡Tuvimos el mejor servicio al cliente que he experimentado! Son muy acogedores, serviciales y van más allá para hacer que su estadía sea la mejor. Excellent staff, food and atmosphere.

During our stay most of the staff has been great! Everyone is so friendly and helpful. The rooms are nice, the beach is clean and the food is amazing! I’ve eaten so much I’ve had to hit their gym a few times the gym is smaller but it’s clean and they clean it. Only downfall is it’s very humid with no air circulation. Yasmin has been the greatest on the beach. She’s so sweet and patient with the guest, not only us but everyone. Out of everyone she is the most patient and definitely goes out of her way for everyone. We had Luis our first day and him as well went out of his way to make sure we had everything and more, great guy! Very friendly and he even remembered our Names the next day, even after serving a large amount of people. ❤️ Juan Jose is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever ran into. He unfortunately he was treated poorly by a guest but he remained so calm and professional and kept on doing what he needed. He was very nice and it was easy to carry a conversation with him. The only downfall of our stay was no hot water in our room and asking the front desk to check on it which the person never came.

Friendly staff, bed mattresses are very thin, hard and uncomfortable. The food is decent, however the dinner menu was very questionable when compared to breakfast, snack and lunch. The rooms were clean though! Be prepared to climb a lot of steps. We enjoyed our stay, I am just trying to point out things the stood out to me. Nice hotel overall.

BEST BIRTHDAY HOTEL! My boyfriend and I came from Texas for a birthday getaway weekend. Hotel is very clean, great location for hotel. Near souvenir shop and local Circle K. This hotel was super reasonably priced in the hotel location. It allowed us to have great accommodations and have plenty of money to enjoy ourselves. Great location, and has many perks. They provided a special birthday desert in my room upon arrival. Along with a beautiful cake. The hotel is nice for their current star rating. We saw all of the hotels online before booking. Our master suite was updated and faced the ocean… just like the description promised. The hotel staff is the best part, and accommodated is very nicely even though we speak English. We’re not hotel dwellers. The areas that are important are the beach which is super nice, food was better than local offerings (Outback 2/3 minute walk-not recommended), and bus runs right outside hotel. No need for Taxi necessarily. I’d love to return. This hotel isn’t 5 stars yet, but the renovations will probably put it their. I felt safe and staff really helped when we had needs. Hotel elevator did break down, but it wasn’t such a bad walk. They had it fixed by the time we came back from our excursion. Ps: Hotel also offers complimentary photo sessions with one print of the picture free. We did this the last day, and loved the way the pictures came out. Photographer was amazing and very professional.

Overall experience was good, rooms are OUTDATED and run down in contrast with beautiful Lobby Area. NO ELEVATORS anywhere! … other than that, it was good. Friendly staff, especially Bartender (JUAN JOSE), who really made a difference in our stay at NYX with his great service, friendliness and awesome mixed drinks! (his Maracuja Fruit drinks are amazing! ). Food at NYX was AMAZING (way above expectations), I had a chance to personally thank Food and Drink General Manager (Daniel). PHARMACY inside Lobby area (which by the way and in all fairness is not associated with NYX) lacks friendliness and good costumer service, NO EXCHANGES OR RETURNS (even for something so simple as buying travel-size deodorant for $5, only to realize I grabbed non-clear as opposed to spray, Clerk refused to exchange within seconds after my purchase) OVERPRICED PRODUCTS, AND FEMALE CLERK WAS RUDE! NYX please get rid of this vendor before it gives you a bad name!

Building still ongoing, most staff nice, original room was really small with no elevator to 4th floor. Room had 1 inch gap on patio window which an the full length of it, 180cm. Had to argue for room change. Shower had warm water at best. Food was good but for value and quality suggest look elsewhere.

It's a great hotel. Kind and responsive staff. Always try to please and help. Delicious food and drinks. In the morning buffet, lunch and dinner on the menu.

The place is great, with great location, good beach and pool atmosphere. Restaurants are great but a bit pricey with a great free breakfast if your room includes it. The pool and beach areas have a great bar with good prices. The only problem I have is the customer services. The employees act like they don’t know what’s going on. We arrived and no one at the front Desk greeted us. They just stood there with a blank face. At the beach the waiter never asked us if we were interested in anything it took us awhile to get his attention and even then gave me attitude while attending us.

The room was very… The Russians are not enough for so much that surprised to know where we are from. The food was very good. "Brought with me" + 3kg. The most delicious ice cream from all the tried-and-tested in Mexico. Excellent location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly tactful. Cleaned every day, our Rosie left us on the bed flowers and notes with a wish-a good day. The sea is delightful with small waves, we liked to bathe. Live music or DJ is played in the evening. Everything works until 00:00, then on the street bars, who is relevant. We were not bored! Rest so that only arriving want back!

Adequate accommodations. 4th floor with no elevator. Food is mediocre at best and 'all inclusive includes 2 beers and off brand alcohol. All name brand drinks are not included. People are friendly and the beach is nice but there is no excitement going on.

Very good place, the breakfast of the restaurant is excellent… the beach and pool very good. The location is very good. We booked to return at the end of May, anxious to return.

We had a bad experience, we touched a rainy day and our room was on the side of the entrance, so from the beach to the piece we had a whole tour with rain, the restaurant is on the beach and it is open so to direct us to the again TUV We had to get wet until we arrived, asked if they had any umbrellas to lend us at reception and they said they only had one and they were using it, it is very funny the response and bad preposition of the staff that a hotel only has only one umbrella, in order very messy the Part of the waiters do not know if for being Latino (which really seemed to me because the gringos or the one who had English accent treated him wonders) only rescued in the staff the buttons and the guys who did activities in the pool and beach.
The cleanliness was very good, infrastructure very good, food little variety, the best was the Italian restaurant Chianti with staff very friendly and friendly. It was only a 3 day stay with all inclusive but it was enough to realize how they work. I hope it serves a recounted thing.

My experience at this hotel was wonderful they have an efficient work team, as only tomavamos the breakfast very rich and very good special attention the Lord Arnulf very formal and was very pending that it did not lack anything. The truth I recommend no complaints thank you for your attention.

Hotel was great. Lots of great features. Beach was amazing. Wind made it wavy, which was fun. Resort is smaller, so no fighting for beach space. Food was always good. Definitely worth it to upgrade to jr suites. Breakfast had cappuccino and other fancy coffees, along with standard fare. Close shuttle from airport. Biggest complaint is the lack of a buffet. Food and drinks were served to you on the beach, which is amazing, but there was no quick buffet to go and grab food. Also (and this seemed to be a hotel-wide thing) we didn't have hot shower water for the first few days of the trip. It wasn't totally necessary but would have been nice. All in all, I would totally go back. The service was amazing, there were few kids, and the place delivered on many fronts. Great vacation.

Nice that it’s a bit smaller than some of the other resorts. Beach front space is beautiful, great pool too. Eddy at the poolside bar is awesome! The jacuzzi wasn’t working during our stay which was disappointing.

We were tired from traveling and we didn’t feel like dealing with the situation because they had given us a king size bed and not two double beds like we had booked and when we brought it up the next day they couldn’t put us in the original room we had booked a month in advance, so basically they gave our room away. Under construction so very loud and elevator didn’t work so climbing 5 flights of stairs is exhausting. The phone didn’t work and the shower wasn’t hot AND didn’t have any water pressure. However the sink was warmer and had more water pressure… like why? Thermostat wasn’t regulated properly, couldn’t get the temperature up at all, had to turn it off so we could even feel comfortable! Went to the the front office 3 times requesting to fix phone and make the shower warmer and neither was fixed. Last day out of our 3 days staying there got to the point where we needed a shower and complained again and they finally fixed it. Will not be staying here again. Too many issues.

The price-quality ratio is very good. And it has an excellent location. In my opinion it is the ideal hotel area when you do not have enough to go to some 5 stars. Although this hotel has better beach and conditions than many that appear to be better.

Nice hotel. It is Antinguo and it lacks a little maintenance in some rooms. Otherwise very good in attention, food and drinks.

We took a family trip (2 adults and 4 children between 10 and 15 years old). On arrival we validated during the check-in with Nadia if the rooms were communicating, as the rooms were not yet available; She found solution to our situation… We had the nice surprise of being in suite 601 with sea view. (1 king bed, 1 queen bed and 1 sofa with 2 complete bathrooms). We made several couples trip but this is the first time we have enjoyed everything (service, cleanliness, food, beach, drink, entertainment). Before departure we read a lot of good reviews on the site but we were afraid to be disappointed by getting too much waiting… on the contrary all the good reviews are true. A big thank you to the animators Jonathan and Henrique who make busy days without being too insistent! The beach staff who are always smiling and at our service! The beach is superb with a fine sand, you can take a long walk. There are a lot of chairs but you have to get up early to get a break. (which was not a problem for us). The sea is rather agitated but very pleasant for the lovers of waves! Food side everything was excellent and beyond our expectations; Even our tough kids liked it! The breakfasts are excellent and varied but you have to try the coffee of Olla which is a Mexican specialty. The menu has a la carte dinner is very varied and there is a slightly different menu for those who want to eat on the beach!

It's good. Watch out for the sale of the rides in the hotel. And with the sale of photos… that is outsourced… the hotel very well.

Loved the food and drinking service. Staff very pleasant. The room was huge, air conditioner sounded too loud and in need to be upgraded. Eddy and Jose from Magic bar were amazing. Daniel and his staff were doing a very good job in that beach restaurant.

This hotel is a nightmare. I booked as a family with a child 8 years old. They put us in a room DIRECTLY across from the PARTY property. Unbelievably loud music, some guy SCREAMING, on a microphone, and a drum show that rattled our walls. Our child LOST HIS MIND instead of falling asleep. This is night 1 and is ruining our vacation. My concerns fell on deaf ears at the front desk. I booked with a child on the reservation and this is what thousands of dollars got us. Devastated and furious. If you have kids… don't come here. Supposed to be family friendly… I don't see it.

The place is very nice. Very well located. The beautiful beach. The food and drinks excellent. Recommended. They had overstepped our room and it was a nuisance but we could fix it.

Good place. Good breakfast In the bedrooms should put aromatizers because it has a smell of humidity and has fixed panels as windows and it is not possible to ventilate.

Room smelled so bad, it smelt like sewage absolutely no ventilation in the bathroom. You can hear everything outside of your door and it's pretty loud all day, music and people talking. You have to rent towels which is odd but whatever. We opted to not do the all inclusive. They have 2 restaurants and 1 is not included. Have to wear wrist bands. The hotel did look very nice and the employees were pleasant. The room was nothing special, very plain.

It's the best hotel I've ever been to. The food is just spectacular. Recommended: Paella and desserts!
The only suggestion is that they perform integration activities at night.

Very nice place to stay! Great food, beach, service. Rooms are very clean, but could be a bit nicer. I highly recommend this place for families and couples… So beautiful!

Decidedly average. Beachfront bars and pool are really nice. Staff are friendly. Just the organisation and maintenance that lets it down. Rooms are tiny. Even in our Junior suite we can put down suitcases and walk around the bed. There's no elevator. The access keys work about 50 percent if the time. I would probably spend a bit more and go somewhere else.

Right from the moment we arrived we knew we were going to have a great time. Bellman Erik, carried our bags up three flights of stairs (no elevator to most rooms) to our ocean view room. It was spacious and well appointed. We went down to the restaurant and enjoyed a great dinner with waves crashing in the background. We found the entire staff extremely helpful, especially Vielka, the concierge. The only real complaint we had was that our maid kept neglecting to replace our washcloths.

Good location It offers all-inclusive service. Excellent breakfast, very varied and is the only buffet style. The dinner menu changes every night. On Tuesday, for example, we had Spanish food.
Room 842 has excellent views from your balcony.
It also has 2 separate swimming pools, a pool and 3 Jacuzzis. All of excellent quality and presentation.

Starting from the beginning was a hotel that impressed me a lot, from the rooms, the food and the attention all very well, I visited in August and would return again next year. The attention of the waiters to the side of the restaurant on the beach if it was a bit of a bad taste, because it looked like they had inclination to better attention with the foreign people. (Who did not speak Spanish)
On the other hand all very well, a hotel accessible, clean, good location and friendly people.

Nice hotel with great beach, occasional refurbishment, but all in all very fine. A little disturbs the construction noise from right and left.

We stayed for a week at the end of August and had the trip of a lifetime! The staff at NYX, the food, the beach and location were bar none! Absolutely had the best time! Eddy, Abagail & Jose at the pool bar, Paola at the pool and the front desk staff always provided the best service and we consider them friends now. The Italian restaurant was delicious, especially the tar tar! Definitely will be back! Highly recommend this hotel. Great little slice of heaven.

Great place to stay, rooms are clean and beautiful view to the beach in the master suites was amazing. Food was fantastic and staff was very friendly and caring of all your needs. From Eddie at the magic bar to Olivia at the deck bar. We found them eager to take care of us, always remembering our names with a smile! Didi welcomes us with a smile and Fresh drinks every time we saw him! Always looking disappointed when we left. Timoteo gave us a once of a lifetime experience with fresh grilled lobster at a beautiful table on the beach. Housekeeping was great and the food, whether breakfast, snacks or dinner was superb! Activities were so fun from water polo to beach bocci ball and volleyball. Always friendly. Always trying to include anyone who wished to join. Definitely one of our best experiences in Mexico! We opted for the all inclusive and found it well worth it in value!

The ac didnt work in my room they took 2 days before moving us. We went to the beach while the maintenance where checking the AC the first day when we came back I had pair of shoes missing. They also wanted to charge me $823 dlls when I arrived to check in I had a reservation made for $676 they try to tell me that the exchange rate from dollers to pesos with them was @ 15 pesos per doller so I just walk across the the street to exchange my money and still ended up $740.

Super Personal attentive.

I give this 4 stars but one room I had had a 5 star view. Staff is very nice & helpful. Well supplied breakfast buffet with choices of a lot of different foods including beautiful pastries. Rooms were clean but one was old. Cracked sink, stained marble or whatever the product the sink sat on. I did find a ball of on floor & some blood on the wall going into the bathroom. Building next door so tons of construction noise. But overall the grounds has everything for a beautiful resort. Some age to a few things in lobby. I only used room service no other services so cant comment on them.

The hotel was very nice looking. The room was spacious. The food was pretty good. The waiters/waitresses were very nice. The problem I had was with the maids. I specifically asked them not to clean my room. They gave me clean towels and soap but when I left they cleaned my room anyway. When I came back my purse was on the bed and $50 was gone. It's unacceptable to leave your things in your room and have it stolen. The next day I asked them again not to clean my room and even put the do not disturb sign up. They cleaned it again but this time I took my money. The people at the front desk were very unhelpful. I was trying to get assistance with the shuttle and they did not help. Everything at this hotel shuts down by 11pm so don't expect to have any night life on the resort. If you stay here hide your belongings when you leave the room.

This was a great 1st experience. There were a few bumps getting checked in and it took about 2 hrs, but to be fair we did ask for a room change. It was just a little unbearable due to no air condition in the lobby. The front desk staff were wonderful especially Jimmy. He kept checking on and delivered our bags promptly. The pool restaurant was okay but the city food was much better for the price. Overall, we only stayed the 1 night so that's why I gave 4 stars. We will be moving to another hotel for the rest of our stay.

I see the comments of the French and now I understand why we have a reputation of eternal unsatisfied in the eyes of foreigners! This hotel is very good… Certainly with nuances compared to French hotels but you are in Mexico!
As for the humidity some talk about, this one comes from the climate of the country and certainly not from the hotel.
I had a pleasant time during my stay and I strongly advise you to stay at this property.

We stayed only 2 nights in this hotel and fortunately… the room offered had no safe, no light in the bathroom, and especially was very humid (with the smell that goes with it). I do not understand that in 2016 and a city like Cancun this is possible. To flee!

Got a "deal" for a last minute room here and it sucked. The room was a basement: low ceilings, no windows, cramped, damp, and everything in it felt cheap. The restaurant was not great, although the food did not make me sick, so there's that. The pools and hot tubs all close early, and they will kick you out of them. No airport shuttle so you have to pay for taxis. Also, it's in Cancun, so you have to deal with a million tourists of the worst kind. Thank goodness we got flights to Cuba the next day!

The hotel was part of the pleasant experience of getting to know Cancun. The facilities are as projected in the advertisements are veridicas. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Balcony view to the sea. Large bathrooms … clean. Swimming pools safe. Hot tub perfect. Breakfast great. The staff very friendly and helpful. Ready to help. Great place to stay If you're traveling to Cancun. The restaurant is really good and the staff is helpful and attentive. The beach is a step away from the hotel's pool and the view from the balcony is breathtaking.

We had a fun and relax time at this hotel, we love it.! We really love the colonial looking structure, our room was huge. (Not ocean view, but it didn't matter) the beach is so beautiful. Staff really treat and makes us feel like kings.! At the restaurant we met Faustino and Solomon this guys were great look for them to meet in future! Planning on going back soon. Thank you to all the personel at Nyx Cancun for this great experience.

Wow this hotel is beautiful on the outside as it is on the inside. The staff are always very attentative and helpfull. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with great views of the ocean. The beach was fantastic with beautiful sea. That colour of the water is amazing.

Very good hotel clean and very good food atenció good of some meceros not all the sr. Rafael great care, it just lacks variety in the evenings. The bedroom Master suite, very large and comfortable.

Excellent hotel, very good service, good cleaning. In addition, the location is excellent. The only thing we did not like much was the food, because we get sick of the stomach, may be due to the low habit of eating food with so many condiments.

We loved our newly renovated room with the large shower (great water pressure) and balcony, partially overlooking the ocean, and partially overlooking the abandoned neighbouring house. The beach is one of the best I found on the long strip. Great little cabana huts, covered beds, and a lifeguard. For a smaller hotel, this one is just perfect for what we were looking for. I liked the comfort of seeing the same guests and staff everyday. I thought the food was quite good, compared to prior experiences in Mexico. Lots of choice at lunch, and dinners were quite good. I had only one meal the whole week that wasn't great. I recommend!

A lovely hotel with a private beach and air-conditioned rooms with views of the ocean. Friendly and helpful staff. Tasty food. Two swimming pools, Jacuzzi, and gym for free. Breakfast until 11.00, which comes in handy during the holidays, when you want to sleep. Internet free of charge. On site there are 2 ATMs. Not far from the hotel there is a currency exchange. Stay in this hotel was incomparable.

Excellent location (5 minutes walking from Plaza La Isla, bus stop at the door and supermarket 100 metres). Very good service of impeccable pool and beach. Excellent and varied breakfast. To improve the quality of the rooms, even hospedandome in one of the more faces, had smell in the bathroom and needed maintenance in general.

Good attention, in general always attended us kindly. The facilities are good and comfortable. The varied and tasty buffet. Only 1 chance had a problem with cleaning, which without resolved promptly.

I was the week of Christmas 2015 and I really liked this hotel was very clean all over the pool, restaurant, loby all and very attentive and helpful employees I'm from CHIHUAHUA and I recommend this Hotel.

Great in many ways. Location, services, food, beach most beautiful Cancun, helpful employees, a special greeting with eduardo of grooms, we become much with the. Colonial-style architecture. I have no doubt that I'm going to go back and recommend it. Thanks Nyx!

Rooms — > shit, no hot water, problems with Wi-Fi, nice beach, nice swiming pool if You need sleep there ok but better take something other.

7th day in a row I have to come back down two flights of stairs to have my room keycards reset then back up two flights of stairs. Once or twice I can overlook but when it happens every evening for seven days straight there is a problem they need to solve. There is no reason a guest should have to come to them.

Excellent service and quality both in facilities and in food, the employees very attentive, our stay highlighted the attention of the waiter Solomon, very helpful and with a very good sense of humor, I recommend him to all those who seek rest and relaxation, ideal for family.

I stayed at NYX July 2015. I did not get the room I paid for. There was black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. The ceiling began leaking and ruptured, requiring maintenance in the room at 4 am. The room smelled like sewage. The air conditioner did not work. The TV did not work. Bottled water is not included in the all inclusive. The "mini bar" consisted of one bottle of water the first day you arrive (this is the all inclusive package). I will NEVER stay at this hotel again. This is the worst place I have ever stayed in Cancun. Expedia refuses to publish my reviews. Hopefully this one will not be denied.

I stayed at NYX in March of 2015. Over all it is not a bad place, I suggest do not get a room facing the street. Another thing to watch for is some rooms smell. The food is good, the drinks are good and the beach is okay except lots of weeds.

For the first time if it came to the more difficult to find, not clearly marked From the airport, look at the beach place, in this hotel. This hotel location also can, room. No Elevator. The room was adequate, quite spacious, mostly sea view room, can directly see the sea. Services, more General, and not very good.

We booked a Junior St. Ocean View w/Kitchen and what did we get? We walked into a small closet size room! Just enough to fit a double bed, the TV stand held the coffee maker, the view was of a walk way wall. We went back to the front desk and they told us none of their rooms are Junior St. Ocean View w/kitchen that the info. Provided to us was incorrect. So, they moved us to their sister hotel Avalon Baccara, might be one of the worst hotel in the Hotel Cancan Zone! We moved back to Avalon Grand and stayed in the little closet.
