I enjoyed this hotel. The rooms were clean and well kept. The AC was amazing. It was very nice to walk into the cool rooms after spending all day outside whether it be the beach or walking on the boulevard. The breakfast was very good. So many choices and all very delicious! Tradewinds steak with vegetables was good too. The pool was big and clean. Staff was very courteous, respectful and attentive. Very satisfied with out stay there.

I love it here! I want to stay lol diego was a really cool guy and he knew everything. Hooked us up with tours while the rest of front desk just ignored me when I arrived. Next day he saw me and gave me info on the hotels we can go and restaurants that took the hotel key card instead of using your bank card. Great guy. He deserve a higher position. The hotel should treat him or something. Give him a raise because if it wasn't for him I wouldn't have liked the hotel. He made my partner and I very comfortable there.

Recently stayed 6 nights on our honeymoon. Staff are friendly, warm and welcoming. The included buffet breakfast is AMAZING, good selection of delicious foods available at the onsite restaurants with other restaurants withing walking distance. Beachfront and free shuttle between resorts. Rooms are clean and beds very comfortable. My one recommendation is is you are used to a queen bed or bigger the standard double room may too small for you. Can not rate this place highly enough :) thank you Royal Caribbean 1

Who loves a quiet family vacation-you here. Rooms with kitchen, can be cooked. There is also a restaurant, very tasty. Young people are not enough, the audience of older generation. Quiet, cozy and beautiful view of the laser sea from all the rooms, excellent swimming pool, open until the night. Everything is fine.

Excellent hotel, I recommend for a family holiday, the facilities are good and the beach super good. Recommended buffet breakfast of the restaurant.

This is located in the hotel zone of Cancun Quintana Roo. It is a hotel that is next to the Citio Museum in Cancun and the new Mayan Park.

Awesome resort for a relaxing vacation! The rooms are very nice, the larger suites include a full kitchen which is great for cooking or keeping snacks so you don't have to eat out every meal. Pools and beach are great, staff is friendly. This is an older crowd, but a great resort nonetheless.

The reservation I made by Internet, is my first experience of reservation hereby. The hotel is old but with good maintenance. The food very rich and the views lagoon and sea excellent.

The Royal Caribbean is the 3rd built of the Royal Resorts group time shares in Cancun. It was built in 1988 and in October of 2018 will be for sale. Whether the Royals Group will keep it or sell it remains undecided. As it stands now, the Royal Caribbean is a great, quiet, family oriented resort. This is not the place to go if you are looking for a rowdy "spring break" atmosphere. The staff are flawless in their attention to guests needs and upkeep of the 30 year old facility. There is large central pool, with shallow kiddy area, groomed beach with palapas, a restaurant, swim up bat, lobby sports bar, grocery store, gift shop, laundry service, bikes, and tennis courts. There are daily activities for adults, teens and children. If you are not a time share member, you will find that is part of the Royals All-inclusive package.

It is a hotel that is already a few years old. But it is very well maintained, neat and cared for. The cleanliness is very good too. Excellent breakfast, pool and room. It is not all inclusive but you can ask the room, eat at the restaurant or even buy in the minimarket and everything is charged to the account.

It is an excellent place to vacation and forget everything, the sea view is spectacular plus all the services you need are available in the lobby either from a Tour, rent a car, sailboat, shop, or gift shop There is also add the Gym and spa, both in closed room and outdoors.

This place is AWESOME, we have only had one bad experience and that is the restaurant down by the pool. We had bad food. We told the management staff but nothing was done. We have are own servers who treat us like royalty. Tomas, Willie, Hugo, Vermin, and Sammy. These guys are WONDERFUL. Highly recommend this resort.

The rooms and common areas were very clean and well maintained, the service was world class and overall I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. The breakfast buffet was amazing and they have fresh fruit juices here each and every morning. Its hard to touch on everything thats great about this resort but overall me and my travel crew were very pleased with our accommodations. We had a great time and would come back.

Service is good, clean and amenities were nice enough. Great pool. They try to sell you hard on timeshare. Good food and wait staff has been great. Feels a little dated. Overall exactly what we expected.

Good value for money. All very correct.

A little outdated but the pool and beach are great. All of the staff were very attentive and helpful. The prices are surprisingly moderate for this sort of property. Make sure you hit the bar during happy hour and definitely give Jesus a visit at Captains Cove across the street. Hands down the best service and delicious food with a beautiful view. We had the whole place to ourselves at lunch time. I would visit the Royal Carribean again but I guess they sold to a different owner and it will be changing in the next year. Not sure how it will look after that.

Very good place to go with kids. Excellent swimming pools, the beach has sea with quite swell. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Staff are very nice; rooms are spacious and beach view is amazing. Pools are nice and well kept, in-resort "grocery-store" is well stocked and has basic necessities and is very helpful. Clubhouse has some good (American! ) food and drinks are delicious. Other that, great place to stay for travelers. 9/10!

Very quiet. It does not lack anything, it even has a minisuper inside the hotel since most of the rooms have kitchens, which are very well equipped! It has one of the most beautiful beaches in the hotel area. All rooms overlook the beach. The staff are very friendly.

Fantastic everything! The food is exceptional at their onsite restaurant. REALLY… all meals are top of the line. Steps down to the beach and the sunrises from the sand we're fantastic. See the sunsets from. The top floor of the west facing building… it will blow your mind. Staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help. Pool and grounds were finely manicured. We loved it!

We had a fantastic stay at RC. The rooms were spacious — much larger than other resort we stayed in the same trip. Restaurants had good choice. Pools were not crowded. Lobby needs a bit of work to improve ambiance. Except for that, I have no complaints.

Perfect view, with a convenience store in the hotel, making it very convenient. The beach is a short walk from the hotel, and seating accomodations are provided by the hotel. It has a friendly ambience, with staff ready to help, and a souvenir shop for buying last minute gifts. Overall would recommend. A bit pricy, but affordable.

Great place to stay. Nice beach nice rooms. Very relaxing. Has a few restaurants and workout room. Grocery store is more than sufficient to cook things in your room if you want. Only some rooms have the full kitchen. Villas are a great deal.

All the staff here are fantastic. The grounds are well kept and our room is spacious with a large balcony. The food and drink is very fresh & fair priced at the resort and there is a small supermarket on site. Good variety nearby to see and do and the tour desk is very helpful when trying to decide on excursions or activities to sign up for outside the immediate area. Both the beach and pool have plenty going on without it feeling over crowded. We are midway through our week long stay are are really enjoying it here.

Very poor customer service. For some absurd booking reason they had to switch my room. I was staying only 2 night and didn't have time to waste. The cleaning lady came to my room and I called the front desk to have the keys to my room. I was asked to wait on hold, after 30 min of waiting went down to the frint desk, obviously pissed. My new room was still being cleaned and had to wait for the cleaning lady to leave. I wasted 2 hours on poor organization without an apology. I will never come back.

Excellent hotel, is in the Pure hotel zone and is closest to the airport. The restaurant is good, the rooms spacious and nice, the pools and beach excellent, has supermarket within the same hotel, also has transportation that can connect with other establishments related to. The hotel. The only detail is that some parts of the hotel look little old (but well maintained) and the reception to check in is kind of slow.

The hotel was in pretty good shape. The shower had very good pressure. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. A very beautiful beach location. Would stay again.

Everything was great except for the room change they made us make. Front desk called at 11:30am and said our new room was ready. My mom called for a bell man and he brought the new room keys and took my mom and our luggage to the new room; (I was out for the day on an excursion) when they arrived at the new room the room was not clean. The maid informed my mom she could sit in the closet! or wait outside till she finished cleaning the room. My mom was left outside for two hours! In extreme heat! The bellman had to leave so he left the luggage cart for her to unload the bags with no help, he said to leave the cart outside the door. I was furious upon my return and was not able to speak to a manager because they do not have an on site night manager. I returned to the desk two more times and was told manager was with another client. He would get back to me and never did! Upon check out I was finally able to speak to the manager. He apologized but then went into a spill about it is the union and other people's fault. What! I had calmed down but speaking with him and the fact he did not care. That they left my 72 year old mom in 123 degree heat index pissed me off. The front desk new the room was not ready yet but called our room at 11:30am and said it was ready. The maid finished cleaning the room at 1:34pm. (times were given to me by front desk). The manager still would not acknowledge they. Him, had made a mistake. He was about blaming others.

Nice hotel, great service, there is everything: restaurants, a tennis court, pools and a lovely beach, I would recommend this place for families with children. But: not close to Cancun, if you want to see something other than the hotel, have to take a taxi.

The resort is poorly situated, meaning a bus or cab ride is necessary to visit attractions or eat somewhere other than the hotel. The restaurant on property is just average. Access to the beach is awkward with many flights of slippery steps from the pool deck. The property is tired looking although well-maintained, the units are showing their age as well. It is a timeshare resort where the unit owners appear to have aged with the property. The regulars congregate together and save their pool chairs early so don't even think of sitting there. Pick a spot at the pool not draped with a towel and plan on occupying it for the rest of the week. The pool area is nice, with comfortable chairs and a swim up bar. Service is good throughout the hotel, pool and restaurants. Overall, a very average resort at the end of the hotel zone.

I've been a time share owner for 15 years at the Royal Resorts. They have six resorts here and they all are 5 star the staff is super phenomenonal. Same face year after year it's great just like family. Cancun and royal resorts match made under the Mexican sun.

The view to the sea unmatched, the service of income good, the infrastructure of them apart very good, the option of a market internal very good, only much care with the location that les assigned (US touched near them turbines and all the tranquility is disappeared by moments by the noise)

I came here with family for a vacation. Previous to this week, we stayed at the Royal Cancún, a different branch hotel of Royal Resorts. My stay at the Royal Cancún was flawless. The staff was great and the experience was incredible. So farfar, three days into my stay at the Royal Caribbean, I'm enjoying myself but I wouldn't say as much as I had at the Royal Cancún. Due to a couple reasons: the staff, the customer service, and the quality of the facilities. Anyways, still a great experience, just if you have a choice, idI'd pick the Royal Cancún. This area has the best beach in my opinion. Rooms are great, everything is very clean. Grounds are kept up daily. Staff is friendly. I was never approached about a time share which is unusual in Cancun. No complaints at all!

Yes, it is a bit dated, this this place is great. The beach area is one of the nicest in Cancun. It is extremely clean and the staff is great. We really have enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed at the resort for 5 days 4 nights. The room was very clean with fridge, microwave, and a ocean& pool view. When we checked in the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food isn't so good, I'd rather go to a hole in the wall type of restaurant. The distance to downtown took about 15mins in the bus. The guest are more of an older crowd, but I didn't mind. At night it quiet and safe.

This hotel sucks. We had previously confirmed 2 rooms under one reservation with the hotel prior to the visit. Once we arrived, we were told only one room was ready while the other was in a separate building and was still being processed. I would avoid this hotel at all costs.

It's an old but well maintained hotel. The room is clean and people in the reception very helpful. In Cancun its not necessary to go to an all inclusive resort since there are a lot of good and reasonable priced restaurants in the zona hotelera.

Fully equipped kitchen, pool, balcony and large rooms. Lots of stairs to go down to the beach, but I'm not complaining. I would definitely return.

This resort is a member of the Royal Resorts. As a result, the quality of all the amenities and the service are top notch. Great place to stay in Cancun!

The hotel itself is a little difficult to get to, but the hotel is mighty fine. The pool is great and warm, the beach is warm, there is a full blown kitchen in the hotel room! The service and employees are very nice. Would recommend.

It was a great experience at the hotel with a good service and quality.

We stayed here the last day coming back from our Mexico roadtrip and for us it was the first stay in such a big hotel in Mexico, the others before were way smaller. I have to admit this hotel has everything, the room was amazing with a great view on the pool and the ocean, partly at least. The pool area is nice and you can easily find your favorite spot. You find a small shop for food and drinks, or you can buy the missing souvenirs before going home. The pool bar is nice for enjoying a cocktail or beer… and also the restaurant next to the pool is good. The pizza is offbeat but has a great taste and man, you have to try the mixed ceviche. Too bad that we couldn't stay longer end explore more from the hotel. Only negative point, if you want to call it like that, is that the shops are more or less 5km away but you can take either a taxi or public transportation to get there or simply walk. A great plus is, even if we had to check-out at 11am and our flight back was at 9pm, we were allowed to stay in the hotel at the pool and they also offered us the possibility to take a shower before leaving. I am 100% sure a lot people who flew with us were very grateful for that :)

Nice hotel. 2 out of 3 people from the Staff greet you. At the Iberostar people are nicer.
Make sure that you do not lose your room key, because they charge you $50 pesos.
I would give it 3 stars, but the rooms are very clean and comfortable. It seems that all rooms have view to the sea.
The internet is super fast.
The elevators are very slow.
Lunch buffet costs $275 pesos. So if you are going to eat out most of the time there is no problem. But if you plan to eat at the hotel, then you want to stay in one hotel all inclusive.
The hotel is very quiet and silent. Excellent if you don't like the noise. The last time we stayed at the Hard Rock and it is very loud, but with more amenities.
And how Andrei wrote in the review, check-in is very slow. Approximately 20-25 minutes they spent with us, and why it was mid-October.
I feel that the person that I attended had to be more professional. Their clothing was not the best. I know, I'm not leaving in an all-inclusive, but I think that they should choose a better staff.

Great place, friendly and helpful people premium services… A true experience of rest.
