Hotels in Oaxaca with a Pool

Loved the cool vibe of this place and the staff are simply charming, stopped off on my way to Oaxaca and very glad I did.

My partner and I had the most amazing time at Raíz! The hotel itself is beautiful — the perfect blend between thoughtful modern design and feeling like you’re immersed in nature.

This place is fantastic, and Luis, who manages the hotel, encouraged us to rate it highly. He was very helpful throughout our stay and made everything seamless.

We went here because we stayed at a hostel that was so bad and dirty that we had to leave. But if we knew about this hotel earlier we deff would have gone here!
The staff and owner are incredible!

I had a wonderful experience. The room was clean with both a fan and an AC, so I slept like a baby. The staff was super friendly and made me feel at home straight away.

We LOVED our stay there. The staff was amazing and the hostel had so many communal spaces with a rooftop with a view on the sea and sunset. It looked like a hotel and not a hostel.

I had a great stay at this hostel. The atmosphere was friendly, the facilities were clean, and it was easy to meet other travelers.

We stayed at Viajero in Puerto Escondido for five nights and had a really nice time. The location is great and very close to town, which makes it easy to get around.

Live, Breath, Be Budamar. Peaceful, relaxing, invigorating. Great location to beach and town activity. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Room was comfortable and had a safe.

I stayed at Budamar for three weeks in February 2026. It was a wonderful experience. Room H7 is highest room on the west side of the hotel.

Stayed at Naked Hotel Zipolite and loved it so much I extended my stay. It’s wildly social, flirty, and absolutely the place to be in Zipolite.

All of the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive.

Had nice rooms, no a/c but it had a fan above and mosquito nets so your comfy in your sleep and room. Has pool, gym, balcony, stove, kitchen, sink and everything to cook with utensils.

Came here for one night during our stay in Zipolite. Booked through Booking. Com, 2 double rooms.
Location is good — behind the main road up a hill. Parking is a bit of a squeeze.

While we didn’t stay at the hotel, we were next door at the Biulu Condo, which is associated with the hotel. However, the service, and the cleanliness far exceeded our expectations.

What an amazing hotel! I had a lovely stay there. Fantastic facilities, the room was beautiful, spacious, and perfect for my stay.

Spent 10 days in one of the nicest more beautiful hotel in mexico.

We spend 3 nights at Nectar abd we really enjoy our stay. The areas are gorgeous, the pool was great. You can buy food and drinks at the restaurant, the menu is pretty good.

Actually planned to stay a few days, stayed a month.

Very nice hotel. It has the 3B, good, nice and cheap. The rooms cost 800 pesos for two people, they include two double beds in each room.

It is a new hotel, everything is completely new in its facilities. They have parking and at dusk they close the gate, which makes it safe for our vehicles. It has a very nice pool and a restaurant.

The facilities are very clean and pleasant, the pool is good, the staff is super friendly, the room is very spacious, the place is beautiful.

Love this little boutique hotel close to the beach and town. Wayne does amazing job organizing everything and makes certain everyone’s needs are met.

I stayed here as part of a yoga retreat that was onsite, and I'm happy that we were here! The staff is all friendly and willing to help you out.

Beautiful room with a high-quality mattress and bedding, a well-equipped kitchen, a gorgeous bathroom, and great design throughout.

Absolutely fine for staying in PE. Not the greatest location but fine for its price point and the room was super clean when compared to anything else in mexico.

What I liked is that the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Playa Carrizalillo is a 20-minute walk away.

Unfortunately the design of the hotel excluded hot water at both the bathroom and kitchen sinks with no means to heat water to wash up or shave.

View from our room was straight out to Zicatela beach. The room was great, but have some headphones handy. There's a lot of late night music down the road.

If you are thinking of visiting Puerto Escondido, this should be the only place on your list.

They staff is super friendly, everybody speaks English and they take care of everything for you.

The rooms were a good size for 3 people — 2 double beds and lots of plugs. Air conditioner worked great plus additional fans to help with the 30+ degree weather.

I have stayed here 3 times and my 4th will be coming up in October 2025 first stay was okay.

The location is amazing and just steps from the beach and playa de amor. Walking distance to main strip with restaurants.

After driving around trying to find a hotel for myself, my wife and our dog, the Angel Inn at first were not going to book us because of our dog (over the weight limit) … but the manager was willing

Good attention and excellent rooms.

Great location in the centre of Oaxaca city, would stay again if back in town. Quiet but social hostel, with a ping pong table and rooftop pool (a nice touch in the heat).

Maka hostel is amazing ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ absolute best hostel. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and very nice.

This is an older resort with lost of different levels and stairs, however there are shuttles runnning constantly for those that don’t want to walk or have mobility issues.

We have been here only 4 days so far. The hotel is good — 4/5 for facilities.

My wife and I recently spent 12 days at Zoa Resort, and found it to be a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the sunny days.

We are still here at Zoa hotel and I just couldn’t help but write a review already. The hotel is breathtaking and the service exceptional!
