Absolutely fine for staying in PE. Not the greatest location but fine for its price point and the room was super clean when compared to anything else in mexico.

What I liked is that the room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. Playa Carrizalillo is a 20-minute walk away.

Really loved our stay here! There was a bit of confusion at first as I thought I booked something with AC but was placed in a room with none but the host was able to sort everything out quick.

At first we thought it was going to be a problem since our room overlooked a busy street, but it turned out to not be bad at all.

This hotel is closed to everything (Playa manzanillo, angelito, Carrizalillo) and many restaurants. I had a really pleasant experience and staff were very friendly.

We had a great stay here. The room was big, comfortable, and clean. There was a lovely shared bathroom with a great shower. The AC worked perfectly. It’s a 10 min walk from some lovely beaches.

Great location near the centre and nearby beaches. The rooms had a/c which was very much needed. They even let us check in 3 hours before check in time. Great outdoor kitchen for cooking.

Great place to stay after a ADO or Tur bus as only a 10 minute walk. Close to a little shop — a lovely kitchen to make food and space to eat outside.

Beautiful grounds, great service from Cristina and Armando. Rooms with full kitchen and spacious private outdoor areas. The best area were the loungers and hammocks overlooking carrizalillo beach.

We stayed for 5 nights in Terraza which we think has the best view and a very large private terrace with chairs, tables and 2 hammocks. We relaxed here daily.

This hotel is stunning, very clean, and well-located. It's probably the nicest hotel in Bachocho. It's an excellent choice for families because there's a pool, parking lot, and the rooms are huge!

Beautiful grounds and a beautiful hotel. The staff are attentive, nice and always helpful and I enjoyed my two weeks in Puerto Escondido more so because I stayed here.

Travelled here with my husband and another couple. We each rented a bungalow with kitchen and it was perfect for our 6 day stay!

My wife and I stayed here for a week and it was absolutely perfect. The location is 10/10, right across the street from Zicatela. The pool is nice, clean and in the shade for most of the day.

We LOVED our stay there. The staff was amazing and the hostel had so many communal spaces with a rooftop with a view on the sea and sunset. It looked like a hotel and not a hostel.

About halfway between the two big spots in Escondido Surf Nest is a 10 minute walk from either Zicatela or La Punta.

From the moment I arrived, the service felt intentional, warm, and genuinely guest-centered, not scripted or transactional.

It was comfortable and near the Zicatela beach. We booked on same day of check-in, in the evening as the other accommodation was below our expectations.

The location is perfect! The beach is across the street and it's a short walk to the market, restaurants, bars, and nightlife but not noisy at night. The room was huge and clean.

I stayed in Suuel last month for a solo trip. I’d say that the highlights of this hotel is definitely the food, the drinks and the staff.

OM Chakra is such a beautiful and relaxing place. The pool is so great for all the hot weather and everyone is super friendly.

We went here because we stayed at a hostel that was so bad and dirty that we had to leave. But if we knew about this hotel earlier we deff would have gone here!

Melrose is located at a walkable distance of all the nice restaurants and the beach of La Punta. The rooms with a kitchen are great, spacious and comfortable with A/C and a fan.

Our stay at Casamar Suites was absolutely wonderful. The property is beautiful, with amazing gardens that make the whole place feel peaceful and welcoming.

The location and people we encountered in this resort made it a wonderful place to stay. The beautiful beach within walking distance didn't hurt either.

Stayed for a couple of nights at the end of a Oaxaca trip in one of their nicer rooms and loved it.
The decor is lovely, stylish and high quality and the bed super comfortable.

Hotel Humano is a beautifully designed stay — the brutalist-chic aesthetic gives the property a unique, stylish atmosphere that really stands out in Puerto Escondido.

Beautiful yet minimal architecture with a spacious entry, cozy pool, and rooftop for beautiful sunsets. Location was perfect for exploring and enjoying town by foot.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Casa Kuaa in December 2025. The hotel is quiet and pleasant, but right on the beach.

We had a wonderful stay here! The staff was really good and helpful. I loved that the place was right on the beach. And it was in the perfect location to walk to all of the best restaurants.

A decent hotel in a pretty decent location not far from the main road, shopping/restaurant area and beach.

The best week stay for a yoga retreat. The hotel is a five minute walk to the beach, has delicious food and the kindest and helpful staff. Highly recommend!

Very cute spot. I went for the mat pilates class with sabi :) Her class is fun and the space has a great view, go check it out!

I can’t say enough food things about this place. For the price we paid I wasn’t sure what to expect as it was one of the more affordable places in La Punta, but it was fantastic.

Loved our 4-night stay at Néctar! Beautiful, green and well-maintained public spaces, lots of space for both private work and for connecting with others, solid Wi-Fi for coworking, and helpful staff.

Nice hostel to stay at if you’re looking for a chilled vibe! Came here for a day just to have a little break from the party hostels! The pool is really lovely and bed is comfy.

The experience at Casa Borka was amazing. The rooms are just perfect, with a lot of space, and the hotel has the cozy-chic vibes that we wanted.

Absolutely fantastic place! Spacious and beautiful rooms with a fully equipped kitchen. The view is unbeatable. There is a beach club with a nice swimming pool and a great restaurant.

Casa Rhino is a hidden gem on the beach in Puerto Escondido. The house is peaceful, beautifully designed, and just steps from the ocean which was perfect for relaxing and unplugging.

Everything in Casa Rhino was amazing. The location by the beach was wonderful. It was very spacious and had a very nice pool. However the staff was the best part.

We had an amazing time at the resort. The service was great, very clean grounds and the gourmet food at restaurant was delicious. Sunsets are to die for!
