It's all amazing.
Clean and comfortable. A place worth visiting.

Excellent stay we had. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Also the restaurant is delicious.

It can be very beautiful, striking and I recognize it but my opinion is that in reality its captivating beauty serves only to idiotize people who rise the fame of popularity that they gain by showing off how they could have their experience in these places and meet them making them forget their loved ones when they need them and doing what makes them feel that we are not worth to them the same as these places to those who only go those smug people who separately believe the great thing for what they did to consider that he deserved this experience that personally that means nothing to me nor do I share the captivating beauty so irresistible that it is for others.

Our second time here and love it even more.

Just had the hands down best vacation of my life here! It also helped that I married the most wonderful partner while there with 50 of my closest friends to help celebrate. The staff all went out of their way to make us feel welcome and took care of any needs while not making anything too fussy. I slept in four different villas while there and although I have a favorite, there is not a bad room/villa at the resort. Being able to have our kids take their first surf lessons just down the stairs from Villas Carrizalillo in a safe beginner surf break while I headed to Zicatela was awesome. The staff helped us set up fishing, spear fishing, dolphin tours, and bioluminescent lagoon swims while there with incredible local guides they know and trust. Safety was never a concern! Then there is the restaurant Espadin. With a new incredibly talented and kind chef (trained also as a sushi chef in the US) — the food rocked my world. I have a ridiculously well traveled group of foodie friends who could not stop talking about the restaurant. So good every meal. Every dish was perfect. Favorites included garlic shrimp, the best huevos rancheros I’ve ever eaten, mole chicken!, anything with fish (stupid fresh), tacos of course, and seriously good margaritas (get the macho margarita). 5 stars.

Quiet place, nice and comfortable, good food and excellent view!

It is a very comfortable place very close to the beautiful beaches of Huatulco, it seems a very quiet and nice place to rest whether you fences alone or in family there are rooms for any guest, the prices are accessible and the attention of the staff is efficient and Kind.

The view from our villa was amazing and Playa Carrizalillo is a gem. The villa was big, comfy and well equipped. Unfortunately, the hotel is not very friendly with the environment: abandoned concrete stairs leading to the beach for new wooden ones, abandoned pipes on the cliff… We ate everyday at the hotel restaurant, good food but we got comments from staff if we left any tip under 15%. We did not get any 'thank you for your stay' or 'how was your stay' when leaving which you would expect not only from starred hotel but from any hospitality business. We do not need to be pampered at a hotel and did not come to a starred hotel for extra treatment but we always appreciate warm and simple exchanges which we did not get at Villas Carrizalillo.

My daughter and her husband were married at Villas Carrizalillo in March of 2017. Many of their friends and family joined them and we had a fabulous time! The villas were beautiful and comfortable. They were air conditioned, which was very welcomed after a hot day at the beach. The entire staff immediately attended to our needs and wants and were very friendly. The hotel's restaurant, Espadin Restaurante, which overlooks the beautiful bay, served outstanding food and the chef accommodated a variety of our food requests. We ate almost every meal there, and spent hours sitting and chatting with family there, enjoying the ambience and the breeze from the bay. The wedding reception was held at Espadin Restaurante and it was delightful! The beach is quite a long walk down (and then up) a series of stairs, but well worth the exercise. We could see lots of surfers every day, yet the water closer to the shore was ideal for children and adults. If you want a break from the beach, the staff will call a cab and it is a short drive to the center of Puerto Escondido. A visit to El Mercado is a must. I highly recommend Villas Carrizaillo Hotel!

Fabulous place with a beautiful summing view.

The view is spectacular, isolated from the noise and very quiet. It has a good location, close to Rinconada, this is a walker where you can find many restaurants of Italian, Mexican, French, Spanish etc. It is also an area to go for a walk. The hotel has access to one of the most beautiful beaches of Puerto Escondido (Playa Carrizalillo) and surely while you have breakfast in the sprat (restaurant of the hotel) you will be able to see the surfers practicing on the waves. The recommendation is to visit it as a couple (boyfriends, honeymoon, etc) so you can enjoy the total tranquility and if you take children, just take care of them well as the hotel is located on a cliff and has some steep access to the beach. An excellent choice if you love the sea and the contemplation of this and the stars.

Very nice place, clean, access is a bit difficult. It is better to go in a group or as a family because they do not rent rooms, they are whole cabins with kitchen, living room and rooms that also have air conditioning and cable TV. It has access to the beach, but you have to take into account that there are quite a few stairs to get there. It has a restaurant overlooking the sea which is wonderful.
