I'm not recommending anything. Very unfriendly hotel. They say one thing one day and the other day it's no longer true. It's not even possible to talk to the manager. Hotel to avoid.

Excellent attention and the very spacious rooms with a colonial touch. I loved it.

Nor crazy I recommend a hotel that hosts the president and company of the murderous government of Daniel Ortega, better known as masacrin because it also kills children, has been killed by 29 minors to be killed, including 3 babies aged 6, 14 and 30 months, which you think Is Imperial and clientele to those who host.

Why do they house bloodthirsty dictators and criminals like the Ortega-Murillo?
They have massacred their people, more than 500 people including 24 children, some were babies still…
These killers will leave a negative shadow in such a beautiful hotel, and stain their impeccable and scented sheets with blood…

SEEING TIME this magnificent hotel, there it is. As always does not disappoint, spacious and well-preserved rooms, very exclusive common areas (a wonderful spa), the Gaudí with his great Spanish food (es ES FABES. Phew! ). Great service and friendly service. Very recommendable. Congratulations to this great hotel.!

The hotel is stunningly beautiful. The staff told us that dating from 1904, inaugurated by the geberal Porfirio Díaz. The retro touch that keeps the Gaudí restaurant inside is sublime with marble bitono adorning the floor, wooden details in windows and beautiful chandeliers.

I had a wonderful time at that hotel during my visit to beautiful Mexico City. I totally recommend it! The staff were very friendly and helpful. A very clean and orderly place. I hope they keep working that way.

Good location The mattresses are not very good.

The hotel itself is nice and the service is great, the rooms could use some updates. I've stayed here several times and every room has had at least one issue, clogged toilet, a/c not working, broken lamp, etc.

Very traditional Hotel in its architecture and furniture, you can also do events and meetings as it has adequate lounges, good food and good care. Very Central about Reforma, in front of what was known as the Colon roundabout.

Located a few blocks from the historical center and the monument of the Angel.

Comfortable and convenient for short visits or long stays. Very nice and in wonderful area.

The restaurant is very good, Spanish food of very good quality. Excellent service. Recommended.

This is my 3rd stay at this hotel, our first time at this hotel (March 2017) was very pleasant and the room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Our second stay (March 8 2018) the king size bed was very hard and the linen was very rough other than that no other issues. My 3rd stay (March 14 2018) was really a headache. When my wife and I came into the room the a/c wasn’t working so we called reception and they sent a maintenance guy to give us a portable water cooler. The water cooler really didn’t cool enough. Second problem we encountered was that the rooms don’t have iron so we called reception and they said all the irons where occupied. An hour later we called again to check if one of the irons was unoccupied and they said they had one and they were going to send it but 15 minutes later no one showed so we headed out. Note (how can a hotel not have irons in every room? I think that’s an essential item to have at a hotel) 3rd problem we encountered was that they have little roaches roaming around in the room. The valet parking has an excellent service. Front desk people are nice but they take forever to do things. Exterior of the hotel, the front desk and the restaurant are very nice and the rooms are nice in a way but the carpet is really old as well as the linen. From what we experienced on our 3rd stay I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

Great staff, poor Wi-Fi signal, good breakfast, the Gaudi restaurant wasnt delicious, possibility to leave your luggage there after check out, a bit expensive for what it is.

The location of the hotel is good, it is within walking distance of shopping centers, restaurants and other leisure places. The hotel is old and that gives it an interesting look. I think they could improve the quality of certain things like bath articles, towels, sheets, etc. In itself the place is nice but could improve quality. Yes, I never managed to get the Wi-Fi to work more than a few minutes.

The room and the staff were very nice.

Simple furnishings that try to keep hotel with character from 1907 when it was built. Shower works well. Cafetería and restauran Gaudí are greatest assets but so is location. Beds are very hard so will be liked by people with back issues. Some lamps did not work. The hotel could use modernization and updates but I would still use as is at current price but wuold be willing to pay 30% more after renovations. It may beworth it.

Very central location from the Zocalo about 10 minutes or 15 walking but the truth is passed super fast and you're known the city… the only bad thing for me is Q the rooms are very thin and you reach to hear when you get up the neighbor I recommend the room Q qued A as in corner and Q is where less noise exists… Besides q The restaurant does not open from very early so you have to go out to find food… q Do not be afraid walk a few blocks and you will find many stalls and in the garden there is a cafeteria q is not so expensive:) and the attention in the hotel is very good all are friendly and attentive:) of that I have no complaint… and that SII since very early is already heard the cars and Sundays closes the street Reforma and Q there are cultural events… so you will rest very quiet: 3

The hotel has excellent location and very good price/quality ratio.
It is difficult to access because the front desk is on a second floor and there is no elevator to get there.
For the rooms there are two elevators, one of them presents faults and closes the doors when you go in.
The food in the restaurant is not very good and the buffet service is limited.

Quaint, 100+ year old, hotel. Good rooms, restaurants and rates. Well located in downtown CDMX.

Very nice Hotel You can move on foot to many tourist places. Very nice people. The cost is high but it is reasonable with the quality but they leave good promotions is take off.

Of the luxury hotels of the most important avenue of Mexico City which is walk of the Reformation with a beautiful and interesting mobile exterior and where they are accustomed to conduct lectures of different types.

It can be improved, the facilities somewhat obsolete. In the hotel cafeteria they charge the tip without asking you (I noticed at the time that I got the bill). And.

It is an excellent place to stay and I recommend the restaurant, where you can enjoy your delicious food and excellent service. I love this place.

Historic Hotel in Mexico City, with an unparalleled luxury, with excellent service and location. Breakfast here is a unique experience. If you are looking for an ideal hotel for the whole family, this is one of the best options.

A great and clasic hotel. Excelent service. Located at 15 minutes from the main square (Zócalo) from México city.

When we pulled up to the hotel, we didn’t know where to park, and there was no valet, so I ran in while my husband stayed in the car. The man (who we later found out IS the valet) wouldn’t talk to me. Just waved me away. I eventually talked to the front desk attendant, when he was free, and he told me there was a valet. My husband had parked on the sidewalk by this time & came in, where, of course, the man who wouldn’t help me, promptly helped him. The hotel is beautiful. We were SO looking forward to staying there. But we get up to our room (which is not the suite on the top floor, that we specifically made arrangements for — that suite is being used “for pictures” we’re told) but the junior suite on the second floor. The paint is peeling off the walls. All of the linens are stained, (including sheets & pillowcases) frayed & full of holes. There were no hand towels or washclothsThere’s a huge hole in the wall next to the toilet. The bed was so hard, we were eying the sofa and about to fight over who got dibs, when I flipped over a cushion that was put on it backwards. We didn’t swab for DNA, but I’m sure we could have. We are now at Le Meridian, across the street. They have been absolutely magnificent. One of their employees walked back to HIR to carry our bags to the car & drive us back to their beautiful, clean hotel, that has plenty of soft, clean linens, they also have a pool, gym, and breakfast. I’d recommend ale Meridian all day long.

The location is excellent, in Reforma, very close to the Zona Rosa, fine Arts and the Zocalo.
The rooms are a bit dated. Low and bad towels.
Value for money acceptable, although it is far from being one of the best hotels in Mexico City as they say.

That's amazing hotel, if you can the opportunity to visit it, is the best option that you made.

Staff is first rate and the accommodations were surprisingly at a high level. Yes it is an older hotel however, I stay at this facility worth your while. Do not overlook the restaurant, My in-room meal was exceptional!

Buen precio, buena locación, camas comodas solo es molesto tener que estar pidiendo la plancha y no hay tabla de planchar, una de las lamparas de los buro no servia, la comida del buffet está muy mala no me gustó para nada. No recomiendo comer ahí

It looks absolutely stunning from the outside, great staff, but… bed rooms are awful, hard as beds, cheap as sheets, I regretted the booking very much for the same price I would have stayed somewhere so much better then this.

The hotel is ok value for money, but nothing special about the place. We didn't eat in the restaurant. The room was facing the Reforma, and therefore had VERY bad troubles getting to sleep at night as the traffic outside was so loud! The rooms were cleaned and next to a shop.

What's worse, since I arrived was with problems,,, the booking they did not take into account, despite being paid from three months ago, the room reserved was never, we were given keys to a room and when we entered I was busy,,, it doesn't take control of what they do. I asked to speak with management and was never available, linen towels dirty and stained, poorly washed,,,, carpets dirty and mal olientes,,, the old hotel, and destroyed, the roof window broken and with a hill for water. The service is awful, the bath dirty, the lobby has no place to sit and wait, According to them is 5 star, but really not even reach a star.

We congratulate them centrally located beautiful part of the family García and beautiful castle structure, we attended excellent we cannot complain, fine rooms gold dome Café a few delicious breakfast from waiters chef q attends the gate, the mu-cama all reception are exceptional, solved us a problem with room and gave us another much more beautiful of part d my family thank you q return return many blessings pr all d hug my part. Places if q visited of Mexico can not complain me are all very attentive, accommodating our guide Don Esteban was something ingreible thank you Mexico cute and much loved…

One of the best hotel experiences in the city I've ever had. Excellent service, the Master Suite has an incredible view of the city skyline. Just amazing.

All very good, excellent location, sober and so serious that it feels dead on the place, they are missing the music, or some amenities.
