The hotel is well Organized. The staff is very friendly. It's in a safe and quiet area. The pool is small but they keep it clean. The restaurant that is inside the hotel is terrific and all the dishes are delicious.

A week and excellent attention, food, location, all the staff. Recommended to a thousand. Someday I'll be back…

Great place to work and rest if you go for 2 days, you can rent per day, week or month. No doubt when I have to go to GDL I will gladly return.

We drive from Pennsylvania to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and had stayed here both coming into Mexico and leaving Mexico in 2016 and 2017 with our 4 dogs. We did not have any problem as we were charged a fee for each dog to stay in our room. This year upon arriving at Del Marques after 10 hours on the road, the front desk advised us that they had changed their policy and were no longer accepting pets. We were quite upset as the week before we had called the hotel to confirm our arrival and were not told about this new policy. The reception person said they had sent us an email to this effect which I challenged as I had not received any such email. We were told that Hotel Aurea did accept pets and we made our way there. Hotel Aurea was very clean, the staff is very friendly and caring. Do not be fooled by the photos of the Del Marques as the room we had for the past few years was less than acceptable but we had no choice as we had not found any other pet friendly hotel. Del Marques is dated, our bathroom shower was moldy, furniture was old.

A cheap and good quality hotel. It has very good service and has a pool. It is in a very accessible area of the city. Close to several points of interest.

Bad service in the restaurant!

Why is your service so bad? There is no internet in the rooms and their solution was to get off the restaurant. The buffet has nothing and when ordering an egg with ham the Nothing friendly "chef" told me I could not. Literal only one scrambled egg and the others with a cost of 10 pesos. What do you call A buffet? And that without saying the water leak in my bathroom and could continue to toooodo the day. Lousy Service.

Excellent hotel not 4 stars because the rooms although spacious are a bit dated, the structure is without elevator, great breakfast.

The location it's the best perk of the place because you have access to most interesting locations of the city. The building is old and while well kept its age starts to be noticed. The rooms are normal and tidy.

It's a nice hotel but is not exactlly what is in the photos! The service of the staff was really good. A litlle bit noisy and the location is not that great. A bit far from the center. The breakfast what was is included is just a coffee a toast or fruits. And we paid $ 60 for everything. Is not too many choises but is tasty what is it. Don't take a taxi from the hotel they charge you double better just go out you will find 10 m away.

Great rooms, affordable price and very centrally located. Good food at the restaurant is also affordable priced, breakfast runs until noon, which in my opinion is the best. Plenty of parking available and close to shopping.

Great location, price and service. The room walls are a bit thin and leak some outside noise. The bathroom was not in the best shape (one shower knob was very loose). Overall happy with my stay.

They sold the hotel for more than what is in reality, nice furniture (simple and clean) but the worst threat and animal policy in the world.

The hotel is clean and quite comfortable. The staff is always pleasant and very accommodating. The housekeeping staff is timely and thorough in cleaning my room. I stayed at this hotel a year ago when I traveled to Guadalajara. The staff remembered me and were happy to see me again. In general, the staff always go out if their way to ensure that they do all they can to help with immediate needs I may have.

The staff that works there is attentive, friendly and makes the stay warm and that is appreciated especially on an extended stay. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The location is pretty central and allows you to move with ease to any point of the city. I am happy with the services received.
