A very nice setting in good and sunny weather with pool area, loungers and those cocoon/nest type beds/seats.
However we weren't so lucky with the weather over Christmas 2022. After 2 days of rain there was a massive puddle across whole road next to entrance, but that's a very common sight in Holbox when it rains. The roads all around Holbox get flooded quite easily when it's raining due to local dirt roads being a mix of white clay and sand with poor draining properties. This is not to dissuade coming here when weather forecast is looking sketchy but rather be prepared mentally 🙂
Located far from most attractions and the beach. Not worth it. So many better choices. Unsanitary, sharing the pool are 8-10 wild raccoons that drop fecal matter around the pool and on the pool furniture daily. The owner is very accessible by text & is "very sorry about the raccoons" and is fully aware of the morning greeting of feces in & around the pool area. This unsanitary condition rendered the pool unusable for my children & family for the duration of our stay.

Beautiful room with vaulted ceilings. Firm beds. Hot shower. Cool pool. AC that works. No hand towels but had beach towel, bathroom towel and face wash cloth. Street outside was flooded but taxi able to find with no problem!
