At first I was really scared about the reviews I read but as I already booked I decided to go to the hostel anyway and I don’t regret! my stay was amazing, the place was really clean and the AC worked perfectly, also the TV (netflix and other apps cuz the channels doesn’t work). The only thing is that the rooms are made of woods so u can listen to everything that is happening in the other rooms but I had a beautiful sleep time every night. The location is amazing and the guy from the reception was very nice as well. If u are looking for a chill place to stay definitely u will have a good time here :)
Our family loved it here! We got 2 rooms for $22 each and had a great stay for the price at a great central location! The rooms are super cute and the AC is super cold at night but hot during the day. If you are an annoying, prissy individual who likes resorts, then you should stay somewhere else. But if you're a budget minded traveler ‐ this place is for you!

Was concerned as we made an error while booking and hadn’t got a reply on Booking. Com or email however staff were super helpful and sorted everything out on arrival. Room was exactly what is needed, air conditioner worked well. Free Wi-Fi. Wifi cut out twice during stay and staff immediately worked on fixing it. No water refill station at at Mayan so will need to buy bottles or find another area to refill. Small pool on rooftop with seating and clothes line. Amazing location on main street opposite police station and ATM. Would absolutely stay again!
