Bad service on the part of the waiters are not attentive towards the guests the service of lounge chairs say the employees that you can not set aside and still the people do not do and the employees do not do, nothing the restaurants do not have enough capacity of people the jacuzzi does not serve the hot water the only ones attentive are those of the maintenance.

The good: the food is excellent, the treatment of the waiters, the bellboys, the cleaning staff, the beach is very father and I like that if they respect the sea view unlike other hotels that only half a time the beach, the bad thing you can not pay to have your room delivered before as it is done in other hotels by force is until 3 in the afternoon, To order drinks they only focused on the people in the pool because in the other points there is almost never anyone to attend, I had to wait more than 20 minutes for them to serve me and they did it reluctantly from then on this father, the atmosphere is more familiar.

The staff were all amazing, the pool and beach were great. We didn’t have all inclusive (so many restaurants across the street to try) so, I can not speak for the food but heard from others it was good. The room was good, make sure to get pool/ocean view. Beds and pillows were so comfy. Only complaint was windows only open a few inches. From pics it looks like like they slide all the way open. Otherwise it was a great vacation and we would go back. Brian was great at the pool bar. Azul and Carlos were great entertainment. Those are just a few of the many great staff. Thanks Emporio for the great time!

It is an excellent place to spend a few days of rest has good facilities and the staff is mostly very friendly plus their kitchen team is really good everything they prepare they are very good I highly recommend it.

Very good experience, I highly recommend it. When we arrived there were a lot of people and it didn't last even 30 minutes to check-in. If it is true that there is only one restaurant but there are no lines of one hour, or two, at most it takes 10 minutes (well that takes us to wait for a table when it was at the top).
The super rich food
There is a second Italian food restaurant, which you have to book for dinner and the attention is super amazing.
If there are some other male waiter who has a bad attitude, usually men.

Yes, but! Very bad service of not being able to use the all-inclusive since you arrive early, it seems that you are measured food and drinks, if you want to match quality services, that should be the least of it, they will not run out of food! Poor service, I do not return, the rooms smell of moisture, the bathroom smells all the time to even if they have cleaned it, there is not much variety in the food, they did not let us enter the food buffet for being 2 minutes late, the pool smells like, people all the time have apart the beds and are not using them, in short… I'm not going back to this hotel!

This year we were left with a bad taste in the mouth with the hotel, before had a good reputation. Since we arrived to the reception, the attention was very poor; the receptionist is unfriendly and slow, the rooms are very neglected in the cleaning, they smell damp, the beds and pillows, towels for the pool are old, host a lot of drunk they will be aggressive in the rooms early in the morning and does not leave sleep and there is no monitoring and/or protection! That sadness and disappointment we could not change hotel because it was booked from a long time ago, without knowing what awaited us!

Gave this place two stars because some of their staff need to touch up on their customer service skills. Hugo at the pool bar was horrible he would half fill my kids sodas when he would finally decide to serve them, he always had this face like he was upset at us for some reason. We were never rude we always said thank you, we are not rude people but I was really close to saying something. Some of the older personnel were nice and Irma, Cristian and of course Erick which were AWESOME. This guy always remembered us with a smile on his face and made a special mixed drink for my daughter. I'm sorry to say that the pool was always dirty and way too hot. I wish we would have known in advance that a hot pool was the norm here. The food could be improved also. If you do decide to come make sure not to do so during the summer because it's way to over crowded. So we ended up waiting almost 5 hours for our room. Just terrible.

Not a good hotel, if you are visiting from the US or other countries. This hotel is to be used by locals and Mexican tourists. All the activities they do inside the hotel as entertainment are in Spanish. Do not recommend to purchase their buffet breakfast or lunch, they kind serve the same thing everyday and it is expensive $250.00 pesos or more. You can buy breakfast or lunch anywhere else starting at $50 pesos. Our room was cleaned very poorly, I could see the dust piling up for days. I don't expect to use this hotel in the future.

Excelente hotel familiar, a pie de playa. El único inconveniente es que no hay planes para clientes frecuentes (promociones y/o descuentos). Las instalaciones están muy bien, las habitaciones en buenas condiciones y limpias. La comida del restaurante es rica. Atención del personal en general muy bien.

This is my second time at this hotel and I have to say, it wasn't the same as the first time. Their customer service is very poor and I feel that this hotel is more focused in serving the Mexican community and not foreigner tourists. All the activities here are in Spanish and Mexican music at night. Definitely don't recommend anyone to prepay their buffet for either breakfast or lunch, is expensive and don't offer an international variety of foods. Last time I come here for sure.

Pros: Good location, lots of amenities and services. Buffet was decent, transportation is readily available. Rooms were simple but a decent size, housekeeping was very nice and did a good job. Check in took far too long (not even counting the line to get attended) entry and exit privileges were convoluted.

It Is A good Hotel, qualified in relation price service, good food in the restaurant Condimento, the pool very quiet, is not deep, so the kids have fun, also has a water games area for children, has Bar in the pool for the Not so small to cool down, the rooms are small but comfortable, the Palapas area on the beach very well, waiter service, in order satisfied and advisable the hotel.

You need more bars as you wait 1/2 hour for a drink if you are not inside the pool is absurd plus there is a cook who is called Micaela who needs a device for deafness or better attitude. Otherwise it is advisable.

I really enjoyed everything about this place. Convenient location. Amazing views. Good food. Very friendly staff. I would stay here again.

The rooms are comfortable but despite not being high season the services are overlooked, elevators, restaurant long lines, small pool, etc for the price you can access to hotels of wide tourism range.

Very acceptable service, in general friendly staff with the exception of the Renegades you find anywhere. The room was very good. Highly recommended vs price, low season and the hotel with lots of people.

This hotel exceeded my expectations very good service, good attention very comfortable, the attention of the waiters and the staff of the hotel is more how nice I did not put 5 stars because, maybe the date I went there were a lot of people and that made it little nice to clean the A Lberca was not as good as I expected however everything else exceeded expectations.

Awful. Do not go to this hotel, you will regret it because I know my family did. I went in the beggining of December of 2017 and the pool was too small and overcrowded, the hamburgers at the hamburger/hot dog stand were way undercooked, the swim up bar was always closed, none of the amenities were open because there was a wedding so there was no people available to do anything, there was no food variety and it was just awful. The Italian restaraunt was closed every day that we were there and that was a huge let down because it was my birthday and I was really looking forward to that, but the only good thing about this hotel was the chef, he heard that I really wanted to go there for my birthday and he made me a personal pan pizza just for me. He should get a raise because that was the only good thing about my stay at this hotel. Checking out was absalutely hectic and unorganized and a huge time waster. I know the price is cheap but it is not worth going to this hotel.

Very bad service, the waiters take it and it is not possible to make faces, they get annoyed if you ask them for a drink. No room has a balcony, more than the Master suite. The food is good but there are only two restaurants of which one is only for dinner, and you have to make reservation. And if you don't make a reservation a day before or fill up you don't eat anymore. If you lose the towel you charge 1300 pesos, if you lose the bracelet you charge 1500 pesos.

We had such a lovely stay here :) The hotel was nice and peaceful during our vacation. It is a small quaint hotel with tennir courts and a couple pools. It has three different restaurants you can choose from (the third one being a special sunset buffet you can choose once a week during your stay). The sunset buffet was probably one of the most romantic things I've done! The food was great in general (there is a lot of meat so if you're not a fan like myself, you may want to eat out) and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.

Great place to spend some time with family and enjoy one of the most beautiful beaches in Mexico. The buffets do not have much variety but the seasoning is excellent. If you are not going to leave the hotel it is advisable the all inclusive plan but if you like to know Zihuatanejo or the night life that there are every day you only agree to the breakfast.

Very comfortable and clean rooms! The service is very good and the Buffet food although not very varied, it is good! The Ocean view rooms have a beautiful beach view! I recommend it extensively!

If you are looking for a place where it is not possible to rest, stay here. No hot water, the room was not cleaned since my bed had sand, dirty mirrors, Bathroom bad foul (…)
On the contrary, the only thing to be thankful for is that my chihuahuas were welcome… Maybe it's a hotel for dogs and not for people.

En el plan todo incluido el buffet que te ofrecen en la cena no es muy bueno, le falta sabor a los platillos, ponen otro buffet de carnes en el jardin, sin embargo no está incluido en el plan. El buffet de desayuno es muy bueno y vale la pena. El hotel está en buenas condiciones y las areas las mantienen limpias. Nos quedamos en una suite y las vistas desde la recámara principal son excelentes. Cómo en cualquier otro hotel los lugares en la alberca y en la playa los apartan desde temprano, sin embargo por el tamaño de la propiedad puedes quedarte sin lugar si sales tarde de tu habitación.

Publicidad engañosa. Las fotos, según la recepcionista, son de hace 8 años. No hay agua caliente, no hay conexión a internet y por lo tanto, no hay vacacionistas alojados aqui. Si te gustaria dormir tranquilo y no te preocupas por una duch caliente o una piscina tibia, es tu mejor opción.

We had a great week at this place. The staff is very welcoming, the site is always clean and the food is very good. The rooms are not to the liking of the day but the bed is very comfortable. There are several shops and restaurants nearby. Small downside, the sea is very hectic at this place, so we were at the pool, most of the time. I appreciated that the site is very compact because we do not work unnecessarily. The beach is 100 ' from the hotel. I would have taken a few more days!

The worst hotel for the price and especially sold by Liverpool, the service is arrogant and liars, the mattresses have holes and other rooms have mats in very bad condition also, one of the rooms had water leakage, the mirrors are opaque from They do not give maintenance, you have to ask for the cleaning of your habiatacion, do not give the water free as they mention on their page and by the way if you like the hot baths This place does not have it, according to the worker there is only one boiler for the whole hotel in our 3 nights Of stay I could not bathe my baby because the water was cold at any time of the day, no mention at that the towels are also old and broken and the pillows are stuffed with retaseria clothes and there are lizards in the rooms.

Clean, correct, we did not miss anything and had good service. Some employees devoted but not all. The recording on arrival was long. The check out complicated because of the beach towels and especially not very accommodating. I did the check out at 9am and my plane was delayed… impossible to give me my room at 9:30… So wait 4 hours in the lobby without being entitled to access. I will not come back and do not recommend either.

This is a great place weather you like all inclusive or non all inclusive accommodation, it's surrounded by all kinds of activities and eating and drinking as well!

The people who work at the restaurant and bring food out to the beach were very friendly and deserve the 5/5 stars. However, the security people are on a power trip and deserve 0 stars. I was helping my 85 year old grandma onto the elevator when the security kicked us out and separated me just because he could not see my bracelet. My grandma can barely walk but that didn’t seem to matter to Andres. He said “I don’t care, she can take the stuff up” after I repeatedly said she had a leg problem I’ve been going to this hotel since I was 5 years old and I’ve never had such a horrible experience as I did this year. These people are straight up rude and I will be definitely staying elsewhere for ever single winter break. Stay somewhere else.

Super uncomfortable beds dirty bathrooms guests who use it as motel a lot of noise in the evenings and a worm of ETCS.

Quiet and pleasant place. The downside is that you hear all the conversations of the adjoining rooms by the walls so small. The people at the counter excellent mainly Laurita a great greeting. To her 5 stars.

An older hotel in Ixtapa. Friendly staff, grounds well taken care for. Our stay landed us on the first floor. Rooms opened to lobby area. Safe but not as secure as others, suite door is hollow core not solid. Safes are provided but not secured to wall, could be carried off. Pool side chairs and ocean palapa's are reserved or saved by people hours before use. Making it hard to find a space to sit and enjoy to outstanding views and breeze.

The beach is right outside the front area. It's clean and quiet. The room are large and the staff is friendly. Complaints, the price of food at the hotel and the WIFi is awful.

Day one started off not as expected. We arrived at around 10am and we not received with any beverages… not even a water. We were told that we could get our all-inclusive bracelets put on at 12pm and that our rooms would be ready at 3pm. We were allowed to get food at 1pm and not before at the buffet or we had to buy the plate… I tried at 12pm. I'm pretty sure the chef was off the first day because the food was horrible. The following days the food was great in comparison. The hotel is older and dosnt have many things to offer. Pool is on the smaller size and there is only 1 bar near the pool and it's in the pool. The service is nothing to brag about but it wasn't bad. Ixtapa is a smaller place with few interesting things to do. I personally prefer other cities and different types of hotels and will not be back. .

I was highly disappointed in hotel Emporio, would not return and defenitely would NOT recommend to friends. At check in we dealt with "Janet" who was very rude, not at all helpful, I felt she treated us with disdain. The breakfast buffet was awful, within minutes of eating our family of four ran for the nearest bathroom. The only AC on premises (other than rooms) was the tiny gift shop, the lobby, dining room and tiny bar area all had fans which don't help much when it's 82 degrees with 82% humidity. This appears to be a local attraction, bus load after bus load arrived, creating a bit of chaos in lobby area, children crying, running… There are no ice or vending machines on floors, no microwaves or small fridge. Charge for coffee $35 pesos per serving. I cannot say enough about the Bell Boys though, they were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel has a great location near bars, restaurants, stores and banks. The rooms are spacious and confortable. The only flaw is the lack of. Activities within the hotel premises. However, if you are in a big group this shouldn't be a problem.

Excellent location, service, and food. The rooms were spacious and kept very clean by the staff. The food was varied, fresh, and always tasty. The beach was busy, but manageable. The nightly entertainment could be quite loud, and the night club across the street could be heard from our mountain view room well into the night.

It's a good place to take a nice rest. Have all services and it's clean.

Very nice my stay. The food is very rich, the service good, the rooms clean and nice, pool and the beach is also clean and beautiful, the food and beverage service termima early but it was the only thing I did not like. In general very good hotel.

I give it a 9 rating. All is well except for missing the organization. When you enter the restaurant the lady at reception asks you to wait. That doesn't seem right.

Was cool I was with my 2 cousins and uncles and my parents.

This is the 2nd year we stay at this Hotel (summer 2012 and 2014, young family of 4). The staff (Lluvia, Patricia, Alberto, Clemente, Agustina, and everybody) is very kind and they always reply with a smile. Mexican cuisine is very delicious, facilities always clean and well kept. Reception staff has improved their customer service.
