Life. No detail has been overlooked creating the premier place to stay on Cozumel.

Just spent two days there with my sis and it was fantastic!
Alex&Jimena were very welcoming and kind. They recommended places to go visit and have a bite.
The breakfast was delic’ and the rooms clean, spacious and decorated with taste.
I would go back without hesitation.

We felt at home the minute we walked into Tamarindo Cozumel. The location of the gated property felt safe and was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do in town. The owners are extremely friendly and you can tell they take pride in their home and business by how well kept everything is. Relaxing in my hammock while enjoying a view of the lush garden is a memory I won’t forget!

Stayed here when on Cozumel the first time. The owner is lovely, it's a quaint place within walking distance of town and supermarkets. My room was great and I loved my time here. The only reason I gave it 4/5 is that all the neighbours have little dogs and the yapping sometimes can be a bit much, and my room shared a kitchen with the room next door and let's just say the 'be quiet and courteous' rule was not enforced. With good neighbours this would be an amazing place to stay.

Tamarindo is an amazing little oasis in the heart of san Miguel. I have been traveling around the world for the past 12 years and I must say that Jimena and Alex are by far the nicest hosts I've had the chance to meet. They are friendly, they know how to make you feel at ease, they are generous with their time and they give amazing advice. We would have missed on very nice opportunities if it wasn't for them. The breakfast was different every morning and was always authentic and good. If you are divers or if you want to stay out of the big hotels and see something different and local while feeling at home, this is definitely the place for you!

My girlfriend and I decided to escape the Northeast winter for a few days and came across Cozumel researching remote beach locations not too far away. Flights were cheap enough to justify but we were concerned about finding accommodations that wouldn't be too insane. Jimena and Alex's place came highly recommended online so we decided to book a room and we certainly were NOT disappointed with our stay! Rooms were very rad; small local accents adorned each space and provided an excellent relaxing space to lay our heads at the end of each day. The B&B is a six-minute walk from the ferry, located right in the heart of the island. Alex and Jimena's service is unmatched and they'll see to it that every moment on the island is maximized. There is so much you wouldn't find without their recommendation! Definitely check out the far side of the island because I can't think of a beach with clearer waters. (Also be sure to check out the mojito bar on the south-east end-it'll make your trip worthwhile. Ask for extra habanero in your beverage too. Real strong). An amazing, sun-drenched porch provided the table for breakfast every morning, which was prepared with much love from Jimena. A coffee served with fruit and a light chef's choice of the day are included. As someone who takes a little motivation in the mornings to get going, having breakfast taken care of was an amazing touch and around such an awesome vibe made it even more enjoyable. Can't recommend them enough!

My boyfriend and I stayed at Taramindo bed and breakfast for 7 days and we really enjoyed our stay! Jimena and Alex were very welcoming! Everything was perfect. The place is beautiful, probably the most beautiful on the island! The room was really clean as was the commun kitchen! Also the commun terrace is wonderfull! Every morning the breakfasts were varied and delicious! Alex and Jimena are super friendly and kind! They had answers to all our questions wether it was for… car rental or beaches and restaurants. All their recommandations were fantastic! Thank you so much Alex and Jimena we loved our stay in the Caimito room. Everything was perfect from the beginning to the end! Tchad and Gabriel.

If you're lucky enough to stay at Tamarindo Cozumel you will find an amazing hidden jem in the carribean! The accommodations are clean, quiet, and beautiful. I've never felt so comfortable staying somewhere, I felt right at home and the good vibes seemed limitless! I loved waking up to a delicious freshly prepared breakfast everyday. It was a nice change of pace from corporate franchises hotels or resorts. I felt like Alex and Jimena aren't running a business… they are doing something much easier, they have opened their home and hearts to those lucky enough to stay with them! I know I will always call the Tamarindo, my home in cozumel!

Alex and Jimena are amazing hosts and friends! I was traveling by myself and didn't have plans after my scuba diving course. I asked them one night if it was OK to join them for dinner and they welcomed me enthusiastically. We made tortilla together and hung out at a local bar afterwards. It was such a joy to get to know them and learn how Tamarindo came to be. They made me felt like I have a home in Cozumel. Tamarindo is also located in a quaint neighborhood where I felt like living like a local and far from the touristy resorts. I definitely recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic experience in Cozumel!

Cute and romantic place, run by a lovely American-Mexican couple. Beautifully decorated. Nice breakfasts! Better take room there are not on the street side as these might be more noisy (cars, neighbors dogs barking etc. )
