Beautiful beach, friendly staff, well manicured grounds. All inclusive was the way to go with an upgrade. Many perks of upgrading to a Supreme premium level room. Loved it there.

Absolutely amazing 2 weeks arrived for Christmas & new year from Ireland. T Every part of the holiday has been outstanding, resort, staff, food, drinks accommodation & entertainment Will be booking again for this Christmas. A must visit x.

We arrived last week and had a wonderful time until the fire. Staff were overwhelmed and everyone was doing the best they could as the fire happened quickly. Thank God no one was hurt! Our room was in one of the beautiful buildings that burned. We were able to get our things out after the fire was out. Some things ruined due to water damage and dirt. Hotel is working with us to replace everything. Some visitors were unruly making it tuff for the staff. As in many emergencies, some things did not go smoothly so military and police were brought in an were very professional and helpful. Original plan was to let people stay back in rooms that didn’t burn and just move those whose Ty had burned. Not sure what changed, but later everyone was moved, some to Cancun and others to other hotels in Cozumel. It was crazy, but eventually everyone got a room. It was an awful tragedy, but the staff did their best! I’m hoping to return when Allegro reopens!

🤬🤬🤬TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY! There was a fire and they did not have a plan! Left us all stranded with kids and all in a small lobby until 10pm. We weren’t at a new hotel till after 1am, ALMOST 12 hrs from when the fire started! It’s now been almost 24hrs and we have not gotten answers for the rest of our stay! 🤬🤬🤬

This resort was so inclusive of the whole family. Traveling with teenagers here and they never felt left out of any of the activities. Arbey the entertainment concierge was amazing at addressing any kind of issue that was presented. He went above and beyond for everyone of my family. Super nice beach, great dive shop and the food was really good.

Loved it! Very good food, facilities and service. We are still here for a few days and we want it not to end.

Nice grounds and pools, friendly staff.

Excellent place to vacation. The people are all friendly and make you feel welcome and wanted (not needed but happy you came). The employees helped maneuver our way around the resort and checking in/out. My only small disappointment was that when we arrived at 10:00 a. M. Our group tried to make reservations for any of the nights with special dinners. They were all booked by that time. The food was good. The rooms rented were very clean and comfortable. The swim up bar and entertainment was excellent. I highly recommend Allegro.

Great place. The grounds are beautiful and the staff was great, my only complaint is the buffets. We ate most of our dinners off site, I will definitely come back.

Absolutely amazing atmosphere and staff! Exceeded any and all expectations! Aeleen will always be my go to person here! She made sure every detail was perfect! I am still in aww of how perfect our vacation with 45 guests was. Not one single hiccup. Our wedding ceremony was a dream come true!

Just spent a week at the Allegro with my family, and 3 grandchildren. This resort is absolutely set up for the kids. They all had a great time adult and kid activities. My only concern is that saying it’s ver kid friendly they need to tone down the disco at bedtime… otherwise, I would recommend this resort for families with kiddos of all ages! Thank you all for the hospitality!

What I would like to see is a coffee bar in lobby as I know people would like to a coffee etc before going upstairs for breakfast and us available all day. It is nice to sit outside the lobby.
The other thing is to make your 2 al a carte reservations a lot easier. This trip making them was a nightmare.
Other than that great hotel and I will definitely come back. 💗

This place is amazing all the staff was very friendly and helpful food was good and the Chinese place is delicious but you have to make a reservation to eat there so make the reservation the first day you get there cause there is a waiting list.

We have had an amazi g family vacation. For the money it has been perfect. We enjoyed premium breakfast with beach view every day. Italian and oriental restaurants were excellent. Buffet was tasty and changed daily. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I expect people who complained about the service, were themselves jerks! Treat people as you would like to be treated. Premium chill pool was lovely. Beach gorgeous! Room comfy! Great cleaning service! Premium drinks service to beach and pool. Thanks for a great time. We will be back. Well worth the money.

Terrible service on reservations, they do not allow access. They take a long time to process. I don't recommend it.

Terrible service all the staff treat you badly, not at all cordial do not want you or attend you have to beg the manager in super bad treatment with his people the truth is that I do not recommend it!

The time share people with Occidental were a little pushy right upon arrival. We had been traveling all day and just wanted to get our room and eat. No complaints other than that we had a great time at Allegro! ARBEY the entertainer was great and kept everyone happy and playing games all day! HENRY in the premier pool had great service! The different choices in food everyday was delicious. The Hibachi and Italian was superb! We wish they could have better wine selection and no crown, jack, jameson, more lower shelf liquors. We will definitely come back soon we loved it! Lots of activities for all! Paradise!

My girlfriend and I just returned from a week-long stay at Allegro. We had a FANTASTIC time! The resort is perfect for a family trip or a romantic getaway. Allegro's employees demonstrated excellent customer service and warm hospitality, making us feel welcomed. We'd like recognize our favorite staff: two of their bartenders, Juan Carlos and Erik; one of their servers, Erick; and their entertainment staff, Alexis, Cesar, Victor, Pablo, and Santana. They stood out to us for their attentiveness, respectfulness, and having friendly personalities. All of them are strong assets for Allegro.

This resort is on the smaller side. The grounds are very well kept. Very pretty. Great for the family, has an elaborate swim area for kids, with fountains & slides. It also has a swim up bar at the main pool. Right on the beach. Clear turquoise waters with lots of colorful fish. Has several restaurants & a disco bar. I had a wonderful experience with my husband & friends, none of us have kids & still were able to have an enjoyable time. It's about 20 mins from town. We rented a car & explored the island. I definitely recommend this resort.

The diving is fantastic! Dive shop just a minute walk from the rooms and all the dive instructors are knowledgeable, safety-conscious, and fun to dive with. Cannot say enough positive things about the diving! The beach is beautiful and sandy and with spots to sit in either sun or shade. Great snorkeling right off the beach too. The rooms are clean, the service is very good, but the food is just mediocre. Breakfast was always the best meal of the day. Lunch and dinner sort of blah and repetitive, although there was always good meat and fresh fruit & veggies available. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back!

Very nice resort. Food was excellent; very healthy and fresh. The comments about bad food, is from fat people who miss shoveling deep fried slop in their mouths. Employees are very accommodating. Rooms are a bit small, but have everything you need in paradise. I would definitely recommend, and look forward to going back. Very safe and family friendly. Thank you, Allegro.

Allegro is an absolutely fantastic resort perfect for all ages! The pools are beautiful and the ocean is spectacular! It has the best beach with no rocks for easy access. There is something to do to keep the whole family happy all day long. The entertainment team is wonderful and makes you feel like family, especially Cesar and Alejandro! They will keep you entertained all day with volleyball, water polo and pool games. At night they put on great shows that you can't miss! I will hopefully be returning to Cozumel in September to visit this same resort. Not enough good things can be said about this hotel!

Right now I am with my family here and you have to say q we do not return and we do not recommend the very bad food there are no staff to provide service does not count the hotel with towels neither for the pool nor for the rooms but that if they do not give service but all with their containers pa ra ask tip and literal rooms of 12 square meters the beautiful property and beautiful beach hurts the rest.

Great small resort to relax! Good food and drinks and I think the best part beside the beach was the staff! The front desk people always smiling and trying their best to help you! Good games and activities and the entertainment team guys are very cool!

Staff was always helpful and extremely friendly. It was helpful they all knew English because I don't know much Spanish! Don't be afraid to ask for something! There were some reviews about water temp but it was only an issue around 7 ish and it was cooler but not cold. Let's be real hot water tanks only hold so much and everyone is showering at the same time. Property is beautiful and beach front is amazing. Food is authentic so don't expect to go there and get pizza and wings. I am picky and I always found a full plate of great food at the buffets. Restaurant reservations are limited so don't expect more than 1 per trip unless you are staying more than 5 days. Book tours at the hotel so you get a discount and know what they reccomend. There are a few gift shop stands across the street with better prices than the downtown area or tourist stops. First time on the island and I would go back to this resort not even curious about other places.

Staff is very helpful and courteous. Food was great. The beach is perfect. I traveled with my one year old and he had a blast at the children's area and pools. The only complaint I have is I could hear everything happening on the room next to mine and the first night, I was awoken by moaning and sex noises from our neighbors. It sounded like if they were in the same room. Also Mosquitoes everywhere.

Allegro is and will always be my favourite place in the world to spend my vacations! The food is amazing, delicious and I just love the people working there! 5 stars to the front desk staff!

Nice Resort. The room was a typical 3.5 Star Room. Had a little bit of the old Hotel smell. The Birds wake you up early in the AM. So if you want R&R try going to sleep early. Lol. But overall nice resort food is B grade. Has a beachfront.

Allegro is a small, family friendly resort a little bit far from town in Cozumel Island! This place has it all! 3 great and big pools, a gorgeous beach area, nice, small and cozy rooms, amazing staff, delicious food in all restaurants! The front desk staff is super friendly and helpful, the staff in the restaurants! Perfect vacations!

It was a great holiday! We really enjoyed the beach, the rooms, the pools, the food is delicious and the staff is most attentive and friendly, especially the reception in charge of Miss Monica, the friendliest person in the hotel! Special thanks to Mirna and Elvis who at all times were on the lookout for me and my family! Return!

Pools and pool very well. Clean and cute but literal rooms looked like the ones in the back room were in the same room as with the snoring it was impossible to sleep. The food was very bad, at least breakfast was plentiful but at dinner from an hour before the end of the service there were no more Q leftovers and bad and the services pretty sloppy. The specialty dinner was the only good thing about food (oriental) but the horrible dessert.
The massage service on Olga's part is excellent.

Nice hotel, comfortable rooms; However the rooms on the 2nd floor have some problems due to the roof in straw or Palm tree. We hear everything from the room to the side. Our neighbors arrived at 2:45 in the morning, turned on the TV and heard as if they were in our room. We did not dorm8 this Saturday night. If it rains, it happens that it flows in the room, it happened to friends. The buffet is very ordinary, see disappointing. However the Japanese restaurant is awesome, the Super Cook show and the delicious food. This is the best place.
The beach is one of the most beautiful of the island and the diving center offers a very good service. Generally pleasant stay.

Had a great time here with my family. Only reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is becuase I feel that they can def have more of a night life. As soon as 10pm hits there is not much to do, except 1 club and a small sports bar with limited food. Other than that the employees are friendly and great. The nightly shows were entertaining, although it only last 1 hour. This place is beautiful, safe and clean. I would recommend this hotel. Ooh I didn't like that even for the main buffet at night there was a line, the wait was usually 15-20 mins. I just found it wired.

The attention by the waiters is very good and the young people who place it is the tables is unbeatable, always attentive and willing to collaborate. The meals in general are varied, good tasting and pleasing to the eye, as well as the visit to the specialty restaurants.
Lack of maintenance on some of the facilities but overall very nice.

Family friendly all inclusive restore with direct access to beaches. Multiple pools with a large kids park with water slides and splash area. Kids center with playground and slides on site as well. Staff was friendly and helpful. The buffet is mediocre and the specialty restaurants require reservations that are limited and prebooked well before your arrival. The room has a we'll stocked refrigerator however no access to microwave. Bring snacks. We looked into many places to travel with toddler and this was by far the most family friendly.

Nice little hotel, the food is very average and the rooms of the upper level are bruillante because of the roof in straws.

We spent most of a day there on a day pass. First thing that was in question was the day pass price. On trip advisor, there were recent posts of 40.00/adult, but we were charged 50.00/adult. This made me suspicious right away. The day pass price is not posted anywhere nor is on their website. The resort is clean and the restaurant is decent. The servers in the restaurant were hard working so that was nice. I give 3.5 stars, I've been to El cid in Mazatlan which was cheaper and better value in my opinion.

Great place. Nice scenery, beautiful beach. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Food at times lukewarm. In general the buffet is OK and good anyway. Nice people. Close to the airport. In short, place very well, besides the food a little more ordinary. I would go back anyway.

Wonderful resort, wait staff very friendly. Great food and drinks. We purchased the discovery diving, that was an amazing day. Well worth the extra cost. Our room was small, but all we needed for the 2 of us.

Great place. Just the buffet that leaves to be desired. But the a la carte restaurants are fine.

We stayed 4 nights/5 days. The staff were very courteous and professional. The rooms were clean but the shower temps were a bit unreliable. The food was low grade cafeteria in flavor except for the Italian restaurant which was very good. Getting a reservation (required) for one of the 3 specialty restaurants was nearly impossible. Recommend getting a premium level room for access to the Santa Rosa Lounge which is self serve food and drinks along with an exclusive pool and beach area. Plus your room will be closer to the beach and away from the rather noisy entertainment areas. The onsite Disco was underwhelming but still tons of fun if you know how to have it. Best beach on the island as far as all the resorts go. No other facility on Cozumel has a beach like this one. Take it from a beach guy, this is where you want to stay if your main priority is quality soft sandy beach with minimal rocks. I would definitely stay here again.

The staff inside the resort (cleaning, activities, food) were wonderful. Front desk staff not very helpful. Food was decent. The only real bothering thing was the wait and bar staffs expectations on tips all the time. So for all inclusive? I would say bring lots of $1.00us bills.

The Allegro Cozumel is a nice hotel with a beautiful beach. It's perfect for those that enjoy scuba diving. The hotel has a water park for kids and two big pools. The only down side is the food which was ordinary and wasn't varied.

Excellent most things, all inclusive, premium bar, activities and several pools.
Excellent service however as in most places give preference to foreigners, but they treat you well if you leave a tip, and it would be nice if they didn't waste your time offering to be a member of the Barceló club, almost three hours in which they offered it to us, at first we were only told that we would be invited to breakfast to the Occidental which is 5 minutes away but it is sales strategy, other than that everything perfect.

Very noisy party all night we slept 3 or 4 hours a night for 4 days the room we had book had a bed quwen we picked up with a double bed the Sunwing represent is not the 2 days ago what we want is to resume the plane to rest at home the food is ordinary but the hotel is very pretty clearly over-priced.

Very clean, tidy and with a lot of people willing to help you. Several pools, good restaurants, facilities for children and older adults, access to the beach, packages of local attractions… Highly recommended to enjoy the holidays.

We stayed at allegro for 6 nights and our experience was really great. We booked the superior room and while it was not jaw dropping it was nice (and to be honest, how much time do you really spend in your room when on vacation). The service was fantastic, everyone is really friendly. And the beach is great for snorkeling (which is included in your stay-but limited to one hour a day :/) Overall, great experience!

Amazing resort. Great, attentive staffs, always ready and willing to help. Been here twice and both times they exceeded my expectations. Food is great in the restaurants and in the first club area. Its pretty good in the regular buffet areas but not as good as everywhere else. They have TONS of activities that go on throughout the day. Ive only experienced this resort as a first club member, but everyone seems happy. However, I highly recommend going first club. Well worth it if you have the time to vacation twice a year. The extra weeks are given to friends and family. Ive seen the Occidental Grand, and even though thats "5 stars" this one seems way better. I have family that have been to both and the older ones enjoyed the grand, but the 'more fun' ones like Allegro.

PR start, they absolutely do not want NS give our key before 3 pm even if the rooms are free. NS are still standing since 2 hrs in the morning to come and visit them… It was very messy and slow at the reception. — for meals, it is very ordinary, often the same, or dishes difficult to identify, the kind of giblotte of leftovers from the previous day. The restaurants a la carte are very good, but 3 people from our group have had food poisoning in the Thai, and the Mexican,,, the rooms are well, clean, comfortable bed. The catch, the air conditioning that stop working in the middle of the night, for no reason. The beach is very beautiful, plenty of chairs for everyone.
Wi-Fi is paying while elsewhere around the world, even in China, it's free everywhere now…

The service was amazing. If your sitting on the beach they have waiters walking through getting you your drinks so you don't have to get up. Also the shows were great and entertaining. I would have gave them 5 star but the food was not the best. It was a buffet setting and each night was a themed night. They had Italian, Mexican, Western. They also have 2 specialty restaurantstores that you can make reservations for and we could only go twice since we were staying 6 days since it is based off how many days your staying. American waiters could learn from the waiters at this resort. They were always there refilling drinks and clearing off tables. The resort was very clean and well kept. The beach was also well kept. Also I would recommend to go downtown and do some shopping.

We did the ultimate dive experience and found it was wonderful. We loved the Mexican restaurant which has the nicest View and is open air. But the Japanese restaurant was also very good. Great value for your money — the diving is wonderful. The resort it's very clean and everyone is very helpful. The only downside was the internet. Don't mind paying but should be able to place 3 devices on one account, 2 computer one cell at least.

Hotel OK, rooms on the second floor noisy because the roof of Palm lets everything pass the sounds. The food is good, no more. Fantastic location for those who want to dive. 2nd time I go there and I referred several people who were looking for a place to dive or get certification. Otherwise, if you are not a diver, I do not see the interest.

This is a very nice place to stay with two pools and a nice beachfront. Additionally, the multiple hut layout is very cool. Also, the main building/lobby is very modern and clean. However, the problem here is the staff does not seem to clean the rooms or the silverware well; I got an E. Coli infection from what my best guess is unclean silverware. If you're in the majority of visitors that do not get an infection, then this place will definitely be a 5-star visit. However, the sanitary situation here is not ideal, and unfortunately I got an unlucky illness.

It's a very nice place, the room its the best (2 rooms, 1: bedroom, closet, bathroom, 2: hall, mini kitchen, bathroom). First Club habitation. It's great for kids. Will be better if the buffete are more variable, or have more options, I mean it's ok but can be better.

It's a very nice family oriented hotel. The rooms are simple but have everything we needed. Although they did smell musty and the pillows could have been cleaner. We enjoyed the food very much. One thing we didn't like is that the kids club was closed and we could have used it, since it was raining most of our stay.

Been there so many times that it is a little bit hard to rate it again. If you dive, this is the perfect resort for you. Very dive friendly because the dive operation is built in. They have their own marina with lockers, showers a rinse tank and many more. Food is good but not as before. Staff are very professional, the concierge team needs to improve some costumer skills. The resort is in amazing location, rooms are very cozy and clean, landscape is georgous and beatifully cared. Con: they sell day passes to people.

Rooms are full of ants, bugs and roaches, when I complained about the insects in the room and that my suitcases were covered in ants I received a complimentary bottle of wine and a can of Raid. After 3 days I was finally moved to a different room that was better but not much. Customer service does not exist in this place, only 1 place for lunch and breakfast and dinner without reservation for the entire resort so they get very crowded and they are not air conditioned, hotel advertising shows cabanas on the beach, in reality there are none, no umbrellas on the beach at all, not nearly enough umbrellas by the pool, so there's very limited places to hide from the sun. The drain in the picture had to be cleaned by me after few days in the new room, and that's not my hair.

Just a fantastic week away. Gorgeous natural grounds, kept perfectly manicured, lovely beach with lots of shade, three pools, never a fight for beach or pool chairs, clean and well maintained everywhere. Upgrade to First Club or higher for the best rooms, but basic rooms are still very nice. I am not 'a drinker' — but I really appreciated that the bars had 'proper' drinks. I was able to get blender drinks with real fruit, not the nasty synthetic mixes that haunt lower end resorts. Food was a bit on the basic side, but we always found several things we were happy to enjoy for dinner. They always had fresh fish and several other meat options. People are SO friendly and smiles and hugs abound. We would return in a second.

I really enjoyed my stay here at this resort. Everyone was so nice and accommodating. I felt really safe and secure. Bartenders really knew how to make those drinks. The food overall was good! I only knock it down a star because I wish the activities would be open later in the evening. Snorkel, kayak, etc… do it before 4… a lot of sunlight still left for the day!

Bad we have no right to à la carte restaurants. The restaurants were one of the reasons why we chose the hotel and the booking was not mentioned that they were not available if you stay 2 nights.

Poor service in the restaurants and swimming pools… the truth if with the 30% occupancy in a restaurant late 25 min. To take the hor-den, the first dish came to the 55-min… at dinner… you. You decide …

Travel agent told us before leaving that our unit would not have a fridge. But in the middle of our stay, a well stocked mini fridge was delivered to our room! Cool! Food from the buffet and the restaurants was excellent, staff friendly, and excellent scuba diving. 4 1/2 stars actually…

Allegro has been a phenomenal place to stay. It's a true vacation when I can wander around with a drink to get food or go to the beach and not carry a watch or my phone the entire time. The service is unbelievable — the bartenders knew my drink within the first day and are helpful enough to have it ready on a dime. The best part is the room — I have one about 100 yards from the ocean. Overall, I couldn't have had a better time.

The food was good but this wasn't our favorite place to stay in Cozumel. It wasn't as pretty as other resorts, they don't stick your fridge with beer, and it was really just ok. We checked in and had to wait which was fine bc we went and ate. When we got to our room and opened the door another couple was in there thankfully just talking! The second room had no ac which in Mexico does not make me happy, but the third room finally had ac, two beds but ac. They did leave us a letter with wine and wine glasses apologizing for the inconvenience so that was nice.

Nice place but lousy service, rooms in bad state, and staff in general is very malinchista, as treatment is preferred for the foreigner for a Mexican.

I am considering coming to this resort, and reading the reviews but what concerns me the most is the in different response from "the owner". If you truly cared about the issues your past guests have received, a sincere gesture would be to follow up with some kind money back, or even a free stay at your resort in the future. In what way could someone feel you were being genuine with your words when they cost you nothing…

A large eexperiencia, a paradise, … its very friendly people. The Allegro best. I recommend it widely.

I was part of a group of 19 people that stayed here from May 4-9, 2015, most of us scuba divers down for a diving trip. First, I want to say that the grounds were in very good shape and workers were constantly up-keeping the property, making repairs, and making the place look nice. The maid service was excellent and the rooms kept in very nice condition. The pools and beaches were kept clean and enjoyable. The wait staff in the dining areas and bars were attentive and did a very good job for the most part. Those were the good points. Now for the bad. While there was usually plenty of food, it was never hot, even when we were the first ones to the dining room. It was luke warm at best and seemed as if it had been sitting for a while prior to being placed on the buffet. The taste of the food was acceptable, just would have liked for it to be hotter. A little more variety each day would have been better as well. It seemed like they served the same type of chicken every day and just called it something different. One day it was labeled fired chicken when it was nowhere close to being fried.
