Excellent beach, maintain a responsible management policy of cigarette butts, zero use of pipots, recycling of glasses. As well as responsible use of towels by hotel users, which means that not so much water is used by improper washing of towels. They take care of the endemic fauna of the place. Excellent attention from the workers. Warm and quiet atmosphere. You feel at home.

Can’t wait to go baaaack! The room was lovely, the food was tasty, and the service was fantastic! Oh… and the view… it’s like you walked into a postcard. There is plenty of things to do in the island and I feel like the resort tries its hardest to keep you IN! Loads of thins to do (putt-putt, tennis, group exercise classes, pool for the kids and pool for the adults, game room, love entertainment, and so much more) make this spot worth it!

This resort was amazing. Very well kept, very clean, the staff is wonderful, and so helpful. Everyone always had a smile on their face. Luis was our favorite bartender. We shared tons of laughs, and remembered what we were drinking without us asking. Very kid friendly, but there's enough space between the adult area and kid area where you don't here them playing. We will surly be back.

We had a fabulous time! The hotel is beautiful and the people who work there are kind and always willing to help. The beach was wonderful and kept very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a relaxed, fun vacation. I will return again!

Very nice little resort, the people are very nice, the beds are very good and the place very clean and people very attentive. The only small catch is the food, it is good on the other hand after two weeks it becomes monotonous because mostly the same things. I would usually stay here again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The facilities are always clean, have a good program of activities, there is always something to do, the rooms are simple but very comfortable, a hotel to spend an excellent holiday! The only detail is the beach, which for natural reasons is dirty by plants black color, that if noble mistake is called Sagarzo. But he's still comfortable.

The hotel feels kind of old, but it's still nice. The rooms were clean and the beach is sandy with minimal rocks. The staff is amazing. Everyone is super friendly and accommodating. One super disappointing thing for us was that the pool closes at 8pm. The food is okay, but not great during the day. If you reserve a table for dinner instead of doing the buffet the food and service is much better.

Right now I am staying at the hotel and I really do not recommend to start the rooms are in remodeling full of dust from the entrance of our room on the floor and the door can not take the handle because it is full of dust that Nerve sell a room so after is a hotel that has NO elevator and has two floors as they do to offer it as a family if you come with stroller or people in wheelchairs or people of the elderly who unconsciousness. What's the matter, gentlemen? We went kindly to reception to tell them that we bring stroller and come with my mom a lady of 76 years and that it is not comfortable and reasonable to come on vacation and come to be going up with stroller and a lady of 76 years and without shame we say two people from the Front desk There are no rooms and we said good we want to go to a place that if they have minimum customer service rules and we were told there was no return that because we did not book directly with them with (Melia) This was the worst they could say now booking is responsible for hotel failures No gentlemen we are at Melia we are your guests the person who answered this should not work for this brand has no idea what makes this hotel chain is very strong not the first time we stayed in a Melia.
We were very disappointed to have chosen this brand to a room that is not worthy to offer a guest and not only that they believe if there is elevator in another hotel tower and at reception we were told that no building there is elevator.

The beach is very nice. The service could be muuucho better even if it is an all inclusive. A lot is missing in a matter of attention to detail.

Friendly staff, great rooms, variety of meals and drinks. The coast in that sector of the island is not pretty, it's a little brown. The cleanliness was very good.

It is a relatively small hotel with a quiet and familiar veery atmosphere, leaving aside the food that incidentally meets the… What really stands out from this hotel is the attention of absolutely all the staff, you really feel the availability and desire to do your job, you solve any questions you have.

A great place to spend a holiday away from it all. Just that there are times that the Buffet will not serve them well.

Buy an All inclusive direct in the page of Melia, where he said that everything was included, room service, free internet and parking. However I can write that all is not as you write. If there is room service free according to them but charge you the shipping to the room that is 200 mexican pesos, or $ 10 american for each shipment, the internet is only free in the lobby of the hotel, if you require it in the room has an additional cost and the parking are a few spaces outside the hotel, of which if something happens will not be responsible for the car. The care of the staff of the hotel are pretty bad (guess why they are working more than 12hrs and not have them pay enough), not have an attitude of service, I asked where to request some towels for the beach to a button and told me that at the reception I could take the towels I went to reception and told me not to, that only in the module of towels, to them I replied that a bellhop had informed me that there and they denied it was true, I had to go to the module and there I was told that if the give at the reception, but I offered an apology for the treatment. Also I went to the bathroom that is by the lobby and they were grooming they sent me one that is for the theatre, which were also grooming, do not seem to organize their time to cleaning of the bathrooms throughout the hotel so that one is available while asean others.

This was my husband and my first trip to Mexico and the Melia made it. The food was good, the staff amazing, especially Hilario who was always happy and smiling and had no trouble remembering our name and the activities staff who also seemed to remember our names, the beach was amazing not over crowded in January and the activities were always fun. There was always something to do we it her you wanted to relax and just lay on the beach to an activity with other guest or by your self. There were never any shortages of hellos and smiles, which made you smile in return. We will be coming back to Melia Cozumel but this time we will fly into Cozumel I do recommend that as it takes about 2 hours longer to come from Cancun and you are responsible for your own transportation.

So far, the resort has been great! There are only about 150 rooms, so it's not too packed and we've never had to wait in line. Exceptionally pleasant staff, great food, and an awesome entertainment crew as well! The food has been good no matter if you're at the snack bar, buffet, or the a la cartes. All of the rooms are just steps away from from a long, beautiful, white sand beach. There are a bunch of iguanas here and it's fun seeing them hanging around the resort.

We just came back from a week stay at the Meliá. On our last night there my six year-old son accidentally knocked over a floor lamp in the lobby, and while the damage was minimal we were told by the staff that we would have to pay to replace it. The next day when a manager was finally present we tried to reason with him, but the end result was if we did not pay $60 usd they would call the police. Although the lamp was still being used when we left the following night, feeling unsafe in a foreign country we paid the amount. Manuel in particular was very rude to us, which is a shame because up until the incident the staff were amazing. Susy the kids club director did an excellent job and the resort in general was very good. This was our 5th time in Mexico, but will be our first and last at Meliá

I'm giving this hotel a 4 star mainly because of the excellent staff who work here. They were very friendly and helpful. On the positives, the beach is beautiful and clean with nice beach beds to lounge on. The food was okay, some buffet meals were tasty and others a bit bland but there were lots of options. You can also make reservations to eat at one of the 3 nicer restaurants but it's on a first come first served basis so you have to reserve on time. Alcoholic drinks weren't the best but hard to complain as there was endless supply. Parts of the hotel could do with some upgrading. I would suggest booking to stay in the newer building. The beds were comfortable and the room was kept very clean throughout our stay. The one downside with this hotel is the lack of free internet. Internet is only free to use in the lobby. To use it anywhere else you have to pay a hefty $10 per day or so. Otherwise we had a great time at Melia.

The hotel has good facilities but the attitude of the staff leaves much k wish, are very informal and malencarados. Really if I return to cozumel not I'll come back to this hotel bored for nails very good holiday, there are better hotel k this k only has the good name.

Of all the hotels all inclusive that I have visited without a doubt, this has been the most quiet of all, the premium section is the best, have a reception fully part for premium customers in addition to the premium rooms are just in front of the sea, has a pool for adults only where you can be close to the bar and without children playing around it. The restaurant in general is good, the beach is super clean and quiet, gave him daily maintenance, the hotel has different activities like yoga classes, archery, tennis, etc, The pool family is perfect for children. If you are a premium client you will have an hour of kayaking, snorkelling or windsurfing, eye if you're not certified you'll have to pay for extra classes in any case it is best to choose a kayak since only firms the responsive of the team. Just returned to St. Louis after spending a week at Melia Cozumel & it was WONDERFUL! Shout out to the Entertainment/Activities Staff — Mary, Nolberto, Otoniel & Carlos! Very hospitable & pushed me out of my comfort zone from step aerobics to stretching/yoga classes on the beach offered each day. Thanks to all for an awesome, fun experience!

The truth the gastronomic offer was not good. The room is fine, but they should make the air conditioner not make a lot of noise every 20 minutes. Green spaces are good. I don't think I'd go back to the hotel. It takes a personal (waiter).

Small friendly hotel where we received an exceptional reception and service. The staff is outgoing, always smiling and attentive to our needs, a special mention to Oscar for his professionalism. Same service at the Golf Club, beautiful terrain with the presence of crocodiles, blue butterflies and black pigs among others. The food and the rooms are OK, the beds are comfortable and the site is clean. Good value for money.

We were 12 days. It is a 4 star hotel, not very similar to other Melias, the room of the Royal services excellent. Good variety of meals, 4 restorant in total, many activities during the day, is in the northern area, the latest hotel in that area. I hope to serve the info, was attentive to their questions.

My wife booked a surprise trip for my 50th birthday and we couldn't have been happier. Great quiet location, great food, and unbeatable service. Gabriel and crew were a pleasure and tended to our every want and need. We will return. 5 stars.

Bad! Evitenlo! My room was no good air, safe desprogramada, no water pressure, toilet bad, fridge without drinks and Hotel is old and the rooms smell humidity, I'm NOT staying in a Melia.

Beautiful clean room, very friendly and helpful staff, beach location great not very many waves and short walking distant of other local beach stops. The entertainment is okey, could improve more exciting for children.

The room is very good. The adult pool is very nice as is the beach. But the taste of food leaves a lot to be desired. The BUFFET is small and very but very limited in terms of food choices.

Good value for money. Beautiful white sand beach and turquoise sea, though without fish. In the hotel together if you can find goldfish.

Worst possible experience. There was a private party only a few meters from my room (extremely loud music until 1am). If I knew the hotel would be holding this event, I'd never stayed there. The dinner was awful (poor selection of dishes, poorly presented — I didn't think it was possible to ruin French fries…). The beach was very disappointing as well. Will never stay there again.

I am so glad I chose Melia as my place to stay in Cozumel, Mexico. It was the best choice ever! Every person who works in the resort always has a smile on their face & acknowledge your presence every time you pass them. The upkeep of the resort is marvelous and we never saw any trash just laying around. We could tell very easily all employees of the resort take a personal pride in their job and the results showed in each corner of the place. The food is superbly excellent and the taste is unbeatable. The options available for non-alcoholic beverages was amazing. I did not even feel for one second there were any comments I could make to improve any aspect of our stay. From the employees, to the food, drinks & overall location our stay was marvelous. We felt sad to come back home & can't wait to go back again to Melia.

With the best experience. Visiting cozumel is a must in your visit to Cancun, as these to a ferry of 85 pesos per person or 500 per car. And stay at the Melia, it will always be your best option. With multiple daily activities and halls of recreation (baseball, tennis, archery, mini-golf, billiards, theatre, disco, and several areas for children) And a great all-inclusive service, swimming pool with bar for adults, swimming pool for children, bar, etc (A great recommendation, check prices directly with the hotel and online as bestday, since it is usually cheaper on-line)

Had to change rooms 2 times due to broken AC and mold. People are very friendly and accommodating. Restaurants and buffet are amazing.

We loved our stay here. Its a great place for a honeymoon. Its the farthest hotel from the center, so it's more secluded. We went late August and the beach was amazing, the water was warm and it was like being in a lake, there was no current and you could see the small fish around you. Because the hotel is farther up north the beach was practically empty, it was me and my wife and then the next closest couple was far from us. Really great place for a getaway. My only warning is that the rooms look out dated, and when we went several sections were closed off for renovations. But the staff was really attentive and super nice. Hoping to go back there soon.

The place is OK but is not 5 star, as it is advertised. There are much more beautiful hotels in the South of Cozumel. The food is not good in the buffet, nor drink (cheap wines, narrow range of beers) the staff is very friendly in general and is clean.

We are at day 1 of our week long vacation and it is amazing! Great drinks, really good food and beautiful beach!

Staff is so much fun! We got to know many of them, from the front desk, to the entertainment staff, (they might be the biggest reason we come back, they were so much fun, and try to get everyone involved in their shenanigans! ) and even a nice grounds keeper, named Williams, who didn't speak much, if any English, but we stumbled through conversations almost every morning while they were raking the beach (and doing a wonderful job) Food was all amazing! Rooms were very clean (thank you Theresa! ) Our only complaint would be to the neighboring properties to clean their beaches. It's sad to see garbage all over; and get a full fishing report before you spend any money on an expensive fishing trip that turns into a boat ride. (February is not fishing season apparently) However it was all in all, a wonderful trip! Thanks everyone, hope to see you next year!

Take the reviews seriously! We were there from Jan 17-22. The management at this resort is truly subpar (Alejandro)! We were supposed to arrive on the 16th but due to plane delays stayed the 16th in Cancun. They still charged us for the day/night we were NOT there. We payed to stay an extra night to make up for the day / night lost. He kept telling us you didn't book through us, I can't help you! Then what is Melia 800 #? Not Melia in this company's iggnorant, eyes. This man should not be a manager. He would never make it 5 min in the U. S. As any part of a hotel desk position! Actually ALL the people behind the desk are rude and could care less about you! Erik was an exception, he always was pleasant and smiled. Our credit card is NOT paying Melia the day we did NOT use! Shame on Melia! Very bad business morals. And IT'S NOT ALL INCLUSIVE! Seafood is NOT included. We payed $45 for Lobster Our first night that was over cooked like chicken. Absolutely disgusting! The fish tank in the restaurant was filthy! I cannot even believe they would allow it to look so bad. $35 for shrimp our last night that was huge but lacked any flavor other than lime. Room service charge for breakfast! They couldn't even credit us anything for our missed day. Not even a dinner! Tony tries to sell you timeshares with you receiving lobster dinners or massages.

The experience is similar to other hotels of the same franchise. The rooms are comfortable and the staff is very friendly. The beach is unfortunately not in the best conditions, i. E. In all the coastal. The food is good and varied; the best are the snacks.

My wife and I just got home from our week long Honeymoon at Melia Cozumel. I wanted to take the time to do a little bragging on our new friends at Melia. We had the most amazing time! The food was great, the beach was beautiful & the service was superb! We especially loved the pool bar where our dear friend Hilario works, he makes the best drinks and makes sure you have a wonderful time! Also take some time to go visit Lilly in the main lobby, she is truly the sweetest! This was our first visit to Melia and we have already decided that we will be visiting frequently!

I had a great time with my wife on our 5 year anniversary. The hotel has good food and drinks and lots of fun stuff to do. The service was excellent I almost felt guilty about it lol. They keep the place totally clean at all times and the staff is super friendly. The guys in the travel agency inside can set you up with good deals on rentals and activities no need to book in advance. We had a garden view room on the 3rd floor but we could see the ocean just fine and we had a nice view of the iguanas in the courtyard every morning. They offer a scuba course in the pool then you can go enjoy the 2nd greatest coral reef in the world. They have waiters that will bring you food and drinks while you lounge on the beach in nice chairs with Tiki umbrellas. I can't wait to go back, I had a blast and memories to last a lifetime go to the Melia and relax!

We just returned from visit to Melia. Loved it. Yes, our room was a bit musty, but what do ya expect for high humidity. The buffet was full of variety. We never ate anywhere else. The staff were very friendly. Many things for the whole family to do. Only saw one evening show as one was cancelled due to rain. The Maya show was fun. Overall I'd recommend the resort. And no sales pitches to join the club. That I liked.

Horrible, malinchista to the manager, miguel, the sheet metal of the quarter unusable, the keys of the shower don't work, we were given rooms on different floors being that we requested adjoining rooms as we are a single family, however the aliens if they were given adjoining rooms and that we come first to us, we wanted to charge an extra dollar for delay in delivery of the fourth, according to them, pressing by phone to deliver the fourth and blocking the card of the rooms before you take out our belongings. But that if they try to "sell" their famous holiday projects. With that attention who compraria? do not have medical service. Would never.

The rooms were outdated unless you paid the upgrade fee, smelled of dampness and mildew. The staff was very cordial and most of the time very helpful. The beer and liquor are the bottom shelf, if you want a name brand you will need to bring it yourself. The food was different to say the least, but you have to remember where you are. The best thing about breakfast was the fresh omelets being made. The idea of having to stand in line to make reservations was kind of ridiculous, but if wanted a little better meal that's what you had to do. The beach was covered in seaweed the whole time there. They worked hard on trying to clean it, but was really a waste of time. If you wanted to swim or snorkel in pretty blue water, you would need to go to the hotel next door. But I will say that if you have children coming with you, they have a very nice kids pool and activities for them while you are there.

Arrive yesterday from the Hotel, and already I want to go back, that hospitality with the guests, the animators excellent, everything is very good, I recommend it 100%.
