Very good service, excellent for divers! The food is delicious even though the restaurant is full the service is very fast. At the pier they have for the boats you can leave the equipment and do not miss anything, you can also do beach dives right there (even nocturnal) very cheap and with a lot of life. I would definitely recommend them.

I always love coming to this resort. The place is beautiful and the staff is always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. We love the location, it is not too far from downtown. I love watching the cruise ships come and go every day. If you like to scuba, they have the best dive shop on the island, very friendly and the safest dive masters. There is great snorkeling out in front of the hotel and you can rent mask and fins or bring your own. One of the drawbacks is they no longer have free Wi-Fi and it is expensive to gain access. I would definitely recommend a day pass of you are on the cruise ship or staying a week if you are a diver.

Cozumel has a unique oceanic beauty and one of the most beautiful coral reserves. This hotel is simple but it is the closest to go out with your snorkel or tanks to snorkel and enjoy the most beautiful variety of fish and coral colors in the Caribbean region.

I love Casa Del Mar! It's like a home away from home. The staff are the best in Cozumel, and the attached dive shop (Cozumel Marine World) has amazing and super knowledgeable people. I'm planning on coming back a lot more, and I'll always make sure to stay at Casa Del Mar.

I loved the hotel, the food in the restaurant very rich. The staff were very helpful and helpful. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the beds. My reservation was for 3 people and they gave me small beds.

Clean and simple. Hot water in the shower, good Wi-Fi, real friendly staff. Dive with the great guys at Marine World. Everything you need right on location. Love the staff.

Its a nice place. Rooms could be nicer and beds are extremely hard. But the rest of the place is very nice. Not much parking. They will exchange dollars for pasos for free. Internet is free but very slow.

The place is nice but the beds already need an upgrade the mattresses are not comfortable, there are ants in the rooms that are climbed to the beds, the towels for the pool are always missing or there is not, the food is good and not expensive but they have a very limited menu, however it is worth it but do not buy the bracelet for food and drinks because it comes out very expensive, the drinks prepared if they are expensive and not very good, on the other hand there is good facilities the staff is very friendly and helpful, the waiters in restaurant super attentive and Servici Alrs, so it's about the staff are the ones who lift the place.

Nice to find little gem nice pool and hot tub great views of the ocean, high enough you don't even notice the Melgar traffic. Grounds are very well maintained. Staff polite and professional, meals and drinks as good as most, cheaper than many.

This is a basic hotel. Great price for a room and good base while in Cozumel enjoying the sun and fun. The staff is great, the food is okay and the rooms are clean. It tends to cater to dive groups or divers more than anything else. I've stayed here over a dozen times over the last 15 years.

The place is "nice" if you are thinking of a place to stay for work or if you are not traveling for rest, the rooms are comfortable although the services of purified water and soap only include them on the first day for "courtesy", the restaurant is good to dry the Food is expensive with respect to the taste.

Extraordinary place to spend a quiet and beautiful holiday, its people are warm and friendly the hotel has a very Mexican atmosphere, the food is very good 100% recommended.

It is a charming hotel-resort, near the west coast of Cozumel island. It is not connected to a beach but a bridge connects the lido with a sidewalk lining the coast. A lot of bars, cafes, diving clubs, rentals etc can be found along that road. There are some nearby beaches, part of other hotels/resorts, but a true beaches are on the east side of the island, facing the open ocean. Casa del Mar has it's own parking and driveway. A lot pf amenities, including Wi-Fi. There are sport courts and gym. The place is tucked in tropical flora, with a contemporary and rustic style, themed by traditional Mexican style of architecture. Ot is a quiet and charming place, nicely connected to the main road. You might leave with few remarks but only if you were looking for something exquisite at the first place.

Good place to hecer several activities.

The double rooms are simply furnished with very good space and the services are good also has a game room, basketball court and tennis court plus pool and jacuzzi.

Good facilities for an agreed price. Only the beach club is not going through the hotel if not a few blocks.

A comfortable hotel a few minutes from the center of the island surrounded by shopping centers and good service.

I Have visited many times Cozumel and I find it an amazing and paradisiacal place, the locals are warm and very friendly people, however and unfortunately this time I stay at the Hotel Casa de Mar.
To start you make an additional charge to the lodging fee of $5 USD per room, per night, which includes the power to make use of its facilities…, WTF!?
Which include access to the beach Club, internet, use of games room, pool and playgrounds, I have stayed in other hotels with diamond category and I had never charged the use of facilities.
The maids do not properly clean the room, we do not leave towels, and all week I had to be reporting to the hotel administration the absence of toilet soaps, towels and toilet paper, (basics of a hotel). The mattresses are old and very uncomfortable with total instability.
In The restaurant area the staff of waiters is very friendly, in particular Mr. Javier Aguirre, who strives to deal with guests creating a pleasant atmosphere, the food is delicious and economical, however they do not have a spacious menu.
In the pool area they have a jacuzzi which is always cold, why they never found the maintenance staff.
In General It is an old hotel with airs of grandeur and luxuries that it does not reach to meet.

Good hotel in general. People are very cordial. It is a construction that has its years but is quite well maintained. Very nice surroundings, pool and restaurant. It has diving operator crossing the road (crossing a bridge from the hotel) is very good for divers. There is the possibility of diving from the coast with an interesting background with corals and good marine fauna.

Used To be cheap and acceptable, today leaves a lot to be desired in every way.

Good place, great location. Would totally recommend the dive place. The hotel is pretty good place too. Recommend asking for a mattress pad right away the didn't know mattress cold be so hard.

I love the food here and the staff are excellent and accommodating! This hotel is a great value! The grouper is some of the best in the island and try the coconut ice cream, if you like coconut!

Restaurant staff is terrible and very unattentive. On multiple occasions, food was served cold, we were left waiting at our table half an hour for menus, and waiters were constantly joking around with one another in front of customers. Beds are very hard and not too comfortable to sleep on, and Wi-Fi reception is terrible as well! Also, on the website it says Casa Del Mar provides a gym but that is an incorrect fact. I came here with a group, not knowing what I was getting into, but if it were up to me I would not return.

This hotel has its own spot near the beach that allows you to get into the water. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are nice and cultural.

I only snorkeled there, but the staff was very accommodating and didn't push for sales. A very nice experience.

The Casa del Mar is a nice motel with a friendly staff. Some nights there is noise from a fireworks show at the nearby cruise ship dock. We ate at the Casa del Mar restaurant for breakfast and supper. The grilled fish, ceviche, and flank steak are excellent. The restaurant is located in a ramada allowing a nice breeze.

I was on the 2017, Good hotel, without beach, but with access to a beach club a little far away, the taxi charged $200, has a bridge that will cross the avenue and gives access to a space with sand, lounge chairs and a dock where you can get off and snorkel. Good deal but will give preference to the foreigner.

Nice grounds, rooms noisy at night and a. M. Crowded and congested area with cruise ships unloading nearby, pool service spotty, Nachi cocom beach club with superior room has nice beach but slow and indifferent service. Hotel Maybe better for divers. Liked Ernesto's across street for breakfast and scooter rental.

It is an excellent hotel, the service warm and perfect, the diving club magnificent, the room very comfortable and the staff super gentile, there are delicious dishes a la carte and the cost is much better than in the larger resorts of the area. Their facilities are a little extensive, but complete. I will be returning to casa del mar undoubtedly.

Excellent hotel for divers.

Lousy place, when I arrived my room had no safe, ask at reception told me that did not have such a thing. The place is semi associated with a dive company, when I did the walk and decendi to dive the employees took out money from my wallet (which I had to carry all my cash by the issue of the safety deposit box) after speaking with the hotel they told me that if they had safety deposit boxes which I find annoying even more. The wait staff attending to you with a face of hatred, they had a mentality very square, they are confused easily when I asked them something, not carried my order to the chef so my food never came. The hotel she recommended an agency that rent-a-cars, according to them, the best, the car you rented, it was hard to start, almost falling to pieces, the rim is poncho, the booking was not working. The TV broke down and I didn't have it could change. The internet in the hotel worked only in the lobby. The showers are very low, so I was forced to take a bath in a very uncomfortable position. There were insects in the beds, my whole family ended up with hives.

Wonderful place, excelent view, big rooms, nice and kind service!

If you're going diving, this is the place to stay! We go about 3 times per year, and after having stayed a few other places, this is now where we will always return. The staff is friendly and has been there for years, the food is really great, and the rooms are clean. Perfect location between downtown and the dive sites, with a nice dock and a good shore dive.

I liked the onstalaciones because they are very comfortable and nice and the service was very friendly with me.

Clean, nice to place. The walls seem pretty thin and the menu is a little sparse but other than that no complaints. Free Wi-Fi helps.

Nice rooms for the price, beds are hard and there is no elevator. On site resteraunt is reasonable. You get nice perks like a cheap rental car and free admission to the atlantis submarine tour. I would recommend this hotel to divers and those who don't require all of the amenities of a bigger hotel.

The Hotel is very well the people who work there very friendly and professional. The only criticism is for restaurant:
1) do not offer any vegetarian/vegan options
(2) the breakfast box orange juice is unforgivable. Live fresh juices.
One more thing is makes me distasteful if I then have to spend 350 pesos taxi by going to mention a Beach Club.

A very nice place, a very rich environment, staff was extremely friendly especially Jose which is located at the reception. But it fits mention that all the staff if very good.
Place with a beach that only lends itself to swim and indispensable snorkel snorkeling.
An economic place in what it should be and the only thing I suggest is that people who are staying there rent a car since the Center is a bit far away to walk.

Have a great service. It is certainly a good option to stay, the downside is that it is considerably removed from the center. The rooms are provided with services in good condition and the staff is quite friendly.

Excellent deal, very attentive, the food is delicious, the bar is very stocked and the cocktails very good. The excellent hotel, cosy, clean and with a beach. Recommended if you're going to dive, the staff is super friendly and supporting you in what you need.

Me my wife my sister in law my son my cousin and best friend had a blast here at this hotel when we went diving.

Aside from a major snafoo at check-in where there was an enormous communication barrier, the hotel itself was decent. It is certainly not what I have become accustomed to, however for what we needed it for (sleep and a place to store our luggage) it was fine. Restaurant: Breakfast choice was scarce — $7pp was a decent price, choices were fresh fruit, leftovers from previous nights dinner, and an omelet station. Lunch: didn't use Dinner: standard menu items — some Mexican choices, seafood, and burgers. A little pricey considering. Bar: happy hour is only from 5-6p, we missed it every day. Drink prices otherwise were pricey. $9usd for a pina colada. There is no direct beach access, meaning you cannot be laying out and go cool off in the ocean — unless you count walking across a pedestrian bridge, down two flights of steps, another 100 steps down some stairs into a rocky entrance to the ocean good access. We were there while the Canadian exchange students were there, which we've read many reviews stating that these kids are not very well behaved. I have to admit I was a little worried, but was pleasantly surprised that I rarely noticed they were there. The only annoyance I experienced with them was a few occasionally smoking while in the pool and surrounding area. Rooms were cleaned nicely — — we just didn't get the room we reserved, which led to a very rocky start/experience. Because of this, I cannot rate the hotel higher or recommend.

Staff extremely friendly, great place for divers.

This place has an amazing view. Every time when I am here, I am enjoying.

Me and my wife went to this hotel and stayed for several days. The people were very nice. The rooms were nice. And the beach was great. The hotel is "not on the beach" but they own part of it and have a nice restaurant and a bar on the beach across the street. There is an overhead walkway to the beach. We paid for an all inclusive. Plenty of good food and free drinks. When we return we will stay at this hotel again.

With the exception of a tree shooting fluff.

The staff were friendly but didn't seem to helpful and didn't seem to understand or speak english very well. The hotel was very clean but in a desperate need of updating. The room was sparsely furnished. A loveseat, one wooden chair and a small table. That's it I the room besides the bed. There wasn't a coffee pot or even kleenex. We did not stay there for our duration but moved to a different hotel. If your planning on not spending anytime at all then it is probably fine. The food was good but everything else needs updated.
