Excellent atmosphere and first class service.

I had a super bad experience my event room was not ready in time we had to put tables chairs and fix ourselves the air conditioning did not serve the lousy service I had to be calling you to put me Coffee Break service which began my event and they never put it until I called the staff again to take it and all wrong the truth I leave the place desepcionada of the place.

Definitely super recommended! All super friendly… the rooms are very clean and super comfortable (I can almost never sleep anywhere else and here was the first hotel that loves the room), the pools and the restaurant all delicious! Love the menudo and quesadillas 🤤 and the restaurant manager super attentive! Just waiting soon to return! Oh and very familiar atmosphere… Not like others who… No comment! 😬

Es muy buen hotel con buenos precios para empresas. El desayuno buffet está muy completo. Incluye barra de jugos y licuados hechos en el momento. Tiene 2 albercas (una de ellas climatizada) y un jacuzzi, gimnasio, 2 mesas de billar, futbolito. Seguido hacen convivios con barra libre y botanas pera que los huéspedes convivan. Las camas muy comodas. Muy recomendado.

We would typically recommend this place because there are very few quality buffets around here, but it seems the experience changes every time we come. The "fried" bananas were cold, the toast was stale, the fruit was dry — as if it's been sitting too long at 7am (same for chilaquiles), and the juice — which they are known for, we asked, is prepared differently by different people. I asked why it tasted different than the last time, she said, "I do add sugar, she may not have added any. " Unpleasantly surprised, a-top of all this, the pozole/menudo/birria was not out at 7am on sunday? Although we paid what our neighbor paid who arrived later, and who did get some! Plus, servers were rude to my mom while I sat back quietly observing… that's what posting is for… rating 2.

My wife and I had to travel to Mexico on business and the original hotel close to the job site was booked up (Holiday Inn). We’re glad we chose Hotel Araiza because it was very nice with clean rooms and the staff was outstanding! This hotel is only about 15-20 minutes from the border so it was easy in and easy out. Upon arrival, we were treated with friendliness and much respect. A bellboy brought us to our room which was in the newer part of the hotel. As we walked to the room, he told us what was available to the guests, boasted about the two pools, billiards and the two reataurants on site. The room was clean and very comfortable. It was only a short walk to the lobby. The grounds were impeccable and well-maintained. The highlight of our two-day trip at the hotel was their Japanese fusion restaurant. The food was outstanding! It’s funny to read the menu because they list everything in pesos, but they include the dollar sign so instead of it reading 600 pesos, it will say $600 for an appetizer. Both restaurants were like this. If this restaurant was closer to where I lived, I would go everyday. In fact, if you’re only going to Mexicali for one day, eat at this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed. I would stay away from the buffet at the restaurant near the lobby tho. Too pricey for what you get. There wasn’t much selection of menu items, though the dessert spread was plentiful. They did make omelets to order and you could also have them cook meat to order as well.

The hotels is so clean and even the pool. Plus the food is so good.

I visited the restaurant at the weekend. The attention is very good, but we had to wait more than half an hour to enter the dining room, already 2 times it happens to us, the food is rich but the truth has no variety, it is always the same, we have come back waiting for something new, but it does not change, if they have not yet gone I recommend them, but we think we no longer return, they no longer have anything new to offer at the moment, we feel that it was not worth waiting for the same.

Excellent hotel with variety at breakfast, lunch and dinner in its buffet and a la carte. The room is comfortable with a bath tub. Close to the airport and the downtown area.

Pretty decent hotel in Mexicali. Nothing special but clean and quiet. My room had updated flat screen TV and plenty of space. Walk-in shower. Bed was clean and comfortable.

It is our go to hotel in Mexicali. The service is fabulous. And the rooms are modern and clean. There is a little smell sometimes. Overall it’s the only place we will stay at in Mexicali.

La Fonda del Araiza is one of the best buffets in the city at an excellent price and with a wide variety of dishes and desserts, including drinks, the service is impeccable. One of the things you like most is that you always have cuts for chance at the time included n the buffet.

Location was perfect. Our room was nice minus the roach we experienced with. Service was good. They have an excellent brunch.

The hotel was beautiful. It is located in a decent area. The staff was polite and helpful. The rooms were clean and looks very nice. Only stayed a night, the beds and pillows were comfortable.

Grate place! Clean comfortable rooms, 3 pools and the buffet is delicious. Will definitely be coming back for the lengua en salsa verde and on the spot made omelets. Pool tables and pool side drinking is a plus for me. Room service was fast and pleasant. Thanks Araiza.

The Hotel Araiza is located in a very central location in relation to the extension of the city and very easy access and connectivity to the public transportation Services. Around you can have access to all kinds of services as it is surrounded by restaurants, banks, pharmacies, Customer service centers of telephony services, supermarkets, nightclubs, shopping malls, etc.
Whether it's business or pleasure, its geographical location is Excellent.

Married to a Mexican woman and we constantly travel to Mexicali. This is one of the very few hotels that I feel very comfortable staying in Hotel Araiza. I even used their venue for my wedding back in 2002.

A very well maintained property with a friendly and knowledgeable staff. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi and cable are included in the room rate. The buffet is pretty good too.

The breakfast buffet is very full and rich, the fruit is fresh and sweet, there are all kinds of juices and natural preparations, the dessert bar very complete and are very rich, good attention from the staff.
Very crowded weekend you have to wait shifts.

It's a good place we usually select for breakfast. But today we have to witness the supervisor scolding each of the employees in front of the customers. It was very uncomfortable to be with your family sharing the food and at the same time see the angry face of the supervisor and even see him scold every employee!

I really enjoyed my stay here in Mexicali! This is a great upscale 'resort' that caters to the business and personal class. With two 4-star restaurants on site, o one does not have to leave the premises for an eclectic taste! The Japanese restaurant attached featured fresh sushi (I had the pork shank and it came with a Spanish infused sweet sauce. ) Great three day visit and the concierge staff was very friendly! I'd stay here again.

I really like this place, it gave a chance to brush up on my Spanish. Finding someone to speak English is nearly impossible. That made it even more exciting. Bthe ropms are very clean and room service is excellent! Can't wait to visit again!

The staff is really nice and helpful. The hotel is very nice and clean. They have security to the parking entrance all night. They have a bar and restaurants on the premises. This is the second time I have stayed here and in both occasions I felt safe and very comfortable.

The hotel is quite luxurious and modern, very inviting and has two good restaurants. The staff are professional and helpful. The one major issue I had on the first night was that there was a loud howling noise that literally kept me up all night. I called the front office 3 times, where the first 2 times they said they're looking into it (I thought it was an AC unit going bad) but the third time they said they can move me because it can't get fixed tonight. Unfortunately the only room they had was right above mine, and I knew that wasn't going to be any better. Turns out it was the air movement to the stairs that causes it. For the next night they moved me to a room towards the middle of the hotel, and the problem was solved. Others in my team heard the same noise and had an issue with it, so I don't see why the hotel doesn't put a fix in place. Clearly they know about it and it should be relatively easy to fix.

Clean, with good restaurants. It helps to unplug the noisy room fridge. Pillows are all the same. It would be nice to have some variety for stomach sleepers. Shower is low pressure, and sink area lighting is far too dim. I think you can do better.

I really like the staff deal. The food at the restaurant Kobu and at La Fonda de Mexicali is delicious. It has 2 large pools, lounges and garden for events. The location of the hotel is close to the most important areas of the city.

Service is always good, but elevator is broken, so we had to use service elevator. Also, shower is terrible, and overall hotel feels a bit beat up. Better upkeep is needed.

Everything from the receptionist to the restaurant servers is A rating here. Safe environment and very clean rooms. All staff is dressed immaculate, and tend to your needs as a 5 star establishment would. Definitely will stay here when we are in Mexicali.

We stay in this hotel frequently, and it is our first choice when visiting Mexicali. The restaurants are wonderful. We particularly enjoy the heated swimming pool. The linens and bedding, along with the mattresses and pillows, assure you of a good night's rest. We highly recommend this hotel.

I went to a wedding this weekend, the service was fast. The place was beautiful, the only thing bad esque there was not enough parking.

Highlight of the hotel is the breakfast bar. Room and service was great. Parking a little tight but not a concern. Bed, TV etc all according to the high standards.

The Hotel Araiza has new accommodations, huge flat screen TVs in the room. Really comfortable bed and pillows, the room is impeccable clean, the food of restaurant and room service is top quality taste. Really recommended.

My whole family nd I always go there for summer vacation! I can never get tired of it. I love it! The restaurant is delicious the suites are soo spacious and the pool is beautiful! I love the tennis courts as well.
