Terrible service at reception very prepotent and are not clear and apart you arrive and leave you time there is standing and do not say excuse or anything ignore you : (then it is at 3pm the entrance and you are told you have to wait two hours for the room and do not try to solve anything just say ok thanks bye.

Excellent service, the rooms rustic beautiful, the food delicious and as I said above Excellent service.

From day one to day four, the staff was friendly and very helpful. They were able to navigate me to different not too touristy locations as well as the more visited sites. Our room was great and we rested as much as we needed before every excursion. The rustic feel to the hotel was a big factor in choosing this hotel for my trip and will definitely book here again in the summer. I highly recommend staying here.

We ❤️❤️ this place. It’s like going home and they are always welcoming and so very accommodating. We have stayed at MANY hotels/motels in Ensenada and this one is by far the best.

I don’t mind paying 280 a night but I expect some customer service! Parking is a disaster as well! Overall experience don’t recommend this place! You should want customers to feel welcome and leave with the next visit wanting to stay at your hotel, just saying!

On my first night, the room did not serve the A/C, the second was not serving all the lights, or the minibar, and the VDD is something that if they put to the service of one must be functional.

Nice place. Paid around $130 for a room with 2 king size beds, so prices are not as cheap as in other Mexican cities due to Ensenada being highly touristic. Wi-Fi was really crappy in my room, I was basically without internet connection, but outside my room I was able to connect to a different network which was ok, so unfortunately I wasn't able to work from my room. One thing I really liked was the style of the hotel, really traditional.

Room was great, very good size, especially if you are traveling with a baby like we were. Very nice and clean, I hate when a hotel room puts out only 5 towels, but this room has so many towels I didnt have to be asking for extras. Staff had excellent costumer service, everytime an employee saw you in the hotel they would ask if we needed anything. Helped bring up our luggage we arrived. They went above and beyond when we had a small complain about the lights out in the hallway pouring into our room. They quickly fixed that for us and we where able to sleep better. The pool area was so nice and relaxing. Only 2 bad things dont get a room by the stairs you can hear everyone going up and down. Also we put up the DO NOT DISTURB sign, but they went in anyway after we left to walk around the boardwalk.

I didn't stay here but I ate here every day while I was in Mexico. Excellent food and service. Very clean and friendly. I didn't get a photo, next time…

Excellent service and attention, the staff always serves you very professional and friendly, what you need helps and guides you, have a lot of cleanliness, very well the rooms at very competitive prices, has parking, pool area, has a SPA and has a Tourist Travel Service office, its location is excellent, you can walk to many places of interest in the city center and the tourist area.

This place was very nice and clean they have amazing food and I will be returning to this hotel upon my next visit, I totally recommend! 10/10

Excellent location, feels a bit old but not at all sloppy, very good attention and general facilities very clean, the pool area a bit dirty by the trees but gives a country touch that is appreciated, overall very good experience.

I travel to Ensenada about 3 or 4 times a year and always stay at Best Western if not with family. I made the reservation on the phone a while back. When I arrived they did have my room or reservation. They didn't have my request of strip view as well which I always request and get. The first room that they put me in, had BLOOD on the curtains. Which was disgusting! I immediately asked for a new room and refund! They promised me 10% off my total bill and I settled for a new room. The new room I got was 314 and when I went in, their were No Towels, candy wrappers on carpet and I felt like the room was Half-Ass cleaned! To top it off my wife found bugs on the counter top where she did her make up! I was tired and did not want to re — move rooms again. I was unpleased with my stay. To top it off I was NEVER given my 10% off the total bill like I was promised. I have gone back and forth with customer service and as of Now, nothing as been done. When I called corporate office customer service in Arizona. The manager Alex was not helpful and told me they couldn't do anything for me! I can't believe Best Western treats their customers like this. DON'T STAY HERE! Is dirty, disgusting and if you are unhappy with your stay. They will do nothing for you.

This place is run by crooks! I booked a room over the phone to stay there on a Friday and instead they booked me for Saturday so when I got there the guy had no idea of my reservation for Friday. Long story short I got charged for 2 nights on my credit card even though I only stayed 1. I tried to fight it but the crooks won! I will never stay there again and I will keep spreading the word so others don’t get robbed like me.

Great place to stay this our 3rd time and I will always love staying there the rooms so far have gotten better and better great service love stay their great location, safe too and great price. Clean (12-30-17 rm#310)

The restaurant very rich the food and excellent service and fast. A Lot Of attention. Super recommend to get to breakfast with family. A very rich coffee and natural orange juice. I Definitely come back.

Good location, comfortable stay, decent $$, they have excellent attentive staff. Hotel has dated decor, no elevator but sure serves it's purpose.

Nice Location, Friendly Staff but outdated bathrooms but I had to say that I rented 3 rooms and 2 of them seem to have a recent renovation with a hardwood floors in my opinion better than the old carpet on my room. Quiet Hotel and nice bed! In 1 room batteries were dead for the TV remote and Heater didn't work. I would stay here again when coming back to Ensenada.

The review that I put to the City Junior Express, it was to this place, sorry. Clean, well located, safe and in the pure heart of the tourist area.

Location is great! It's walking distance to Calle primera… I'm not sure the name of streets here but basically the main street. Rooms are Spanish style, cute. People at the front desk and stuff are very smiley (except one guy, he does his job but Idk if he knows what a smile is — I don't want to be messed up by putting his name here). Anyway, the only reason I give this 3 stars is because AC is kinda loud and even though it's been on the whole time room still feels kinda stuffy. Also, bathtub looks somewhat dirty but maybe they're just stains but for $57 a night Sun-Tues can't really complain! I'd stay here again.

Pesimo. Or a star deserves this hotel without category. Not respected our reservations, and the eye, still do not know q can have their information in the computer. Make it like 50 years ago: with lists of their reservations q can hardly be found. If you do not want to risk it, do NOT BOOK there.

My family and I enjoy this hotel over all others in Ensenada. Staff are friendly & courteous. Yes a bit dated but what isn't in this town. It's our go to if there is a vacancy. My son forgot his tablet in the room and they mailed it to my address in the states.

I did not like it. The AC unit was making lots of noise and leaking water. I contactes the front desk and I was told that they could not fix it until the morning. Front desk told me turn it off. I requested another room but they refused they said they were booked but the parking lot was empty. I also smelled strong other of Marijuna some one was smoking and staff did nothing. The only thing good is the location. The rooms are old the hot water sometimes fails. I will never return. I also had a friend that stayed in same location and his AC did not work for the 1st day. He requested a discount and was told that management was no in to provide a discount.

Very nice hotel centrally located in downtown Ensenada great staff. Just be prepared if it's a busy weekend it can get noisy because of its location.

Nice staff and rustic feeling of the hotel, but as any other hotel in Ensenada, it feels old — but not in the good way. What I'm happy about is that I didn't pay that much for the room, so it was actually ok. A + is that it has parking.

I liked the staff very friendly. The beds are comfortable. The place is a little old but very classy for a hotel in Baja. We got our fast pass to cross the border with a 2 night stay. Pool is very clean the kids enjoyed our stay there. I would definitely stay there again.

I strongly recommend this place! The staff is amazing people, always smiling and willing to make your stay the best of it. I will definitely return. Our rooms were clean and also enjoyed the pool.

This place is amazing. The staff is super friendly and even remembered us from our last visit. Super clean rooms can't say enough great things about this place. Ts within walking distance to everything. It's the only place I'll stay when visiting ensenada. Love it here.

I loved this place very clean, staff very friendly and helpful. Hotel sits right in the heart of beautiful Ensenada faces the marina. Free parking, Wi-Fi, coffee, and sparkling great tasting water all in the lobby for your pleasure. Pool area very comfortable not huge but great adjacent a shower and bathroom area. If ever in Ensenada don't hesitate to stay here I can assure you there will be no regrets. Only thing I can say Wi-Fi in rooms was quite slow but out by the pool area it's great. Hence the reason I'm now doing his review instead of yesterday since as I type we are out by the pool enjoying some quiet and relaxing time before going out into the hustle and bustle tomorrow.

Attention and friendliness of the wait staff is very good, I love that place!

The hotel is located in the center of the Primera in Ensenada and near a lot of local bars. Hotel is ok. It served it's purpose. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Do not have published prices at the reception like other hotels.

This BEST WESTERN was extremely accommodating so much in fact they even went to the store to get us beers and ice! I highly recommend staying here! The lobby is rustic, the service was great… Had a great time in Ensanada!

Good basic hotel in Mexican Motif, good location on 1st street.

The hotel was very good, the location excellent, almost we do not use our car during our stay for the same thing. The opportunity areas are in improving the services of the Wi-Fi that we were told that it was limited to 2 devices, the water came out not cold but not hot. Also we could hear absolutely everything they were doing in the hallway and in the rooms of the sides.

Had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and very attentive to ensure we were happy with our stay. The room and bathroom were very clean considering that it's an older hotel. Right in the middle of all the action and walking distance to just about everything! The only downfall that I would say is that it does not have an elevator. Be prepared to get a workout going up and down the stairs. I would definately stay here again and will recommend it to family and friends.

Nastiest place on earth! Horrible eperience, as we unfolded the sofa bed there was a pipe a glass pipe that shows how clean they are who knows how long that has been there worse part of all we had our kids. Who's to know what else we could they keep in their rooms. And they wouldn't give us a full refund.

Excellent location in middle of tourist area, clean, but already a few years old, this well-preserved and the quality of the rooms is very good. The care of Nico, a hotel worker who is from Kenya in the mornings was exceptional, my family congratulates you for your work.

To me if I like it… The price is right, the location. The beds were comfortable. The balcony faced towards the street…

Dirty rugs. Room *very* badly furnished. Shower water cycles between very hot and very cold. Well located (otherwise it would deserve a 2 rating)
